>:-( >:-( >:-( :-X Everybody knows Belgium has the best chocolate in the world! >:-( >:-( >:-( :-P I'm not so sure, Sne. Tell you what, send me some and I'll tell you what I think. BTW It often takes several samples for me to make up my mind about something X-D

None of my junk e-mail titles are repeatable on a family thread. All I'll say is "enlargement"!

I'm just talking about it for a bit of fun. Nothing serious and I take your point that if it became serious it could very negatively affect EB. This said if a new member came on board wanting to know about certain themes or sets he might see [captain tau is highly ranked in theatre - useful to ask about SW (for example), but he's low ranked in castle, which is my favourite so I'll ask someone else about that]. You see?
-
Not intended to be childish, just another bit of fun. Another element to the EB experience. I like the pirate system and assuming it proves effective, don't see wh it couldn't be incorporated into other themes.
-
Well he'd probably have a newly printed helmet, like this: http://swg.stratics.com/content/lore/perso...ges/wedge_1.jpg Aha. I like your plan. I would add to this plan with the suggestion of a printed orange visor, like the Scout Trooper MFs: Scout Trooper Head Only orange instead of black.

I've just joined the Pirate ranking system. Kudos to Mister Phes for setting that up. I think its a great idea. I was thinking that other themes could follow that example. Personally, I'd love a "theatre" ranking system. It could work something like: - Sidekick - Apprentice - Superhero - Jedi Space has obvious potential. What do we all think. Our respective ranks would then show to which specific theme's we're inclined personally. For example, I post mostly in "theatre" because I love SW. But I also have small collections of pirates and castle. And I really like my Space LEGO. So in theory, I'd have a (relatively) really high rank for theatre and mediocre rank for space and a low rank for pirates / castle.

Can anyone suggest exactly HOW the X-Wing could be improved in a redesign? I personally think the Dagobah set is one of the best sets. The ONLY improvement I can think of is Luke in orange pilot's suit. But yes, other aspects such as scenery (e.g. Echo Base) would be cool. And yes, most definately a Wedge. But how would you make him look like Wedge as opposed to any other smiley-faced MF?
-
Actually I really like the wing-opening of the 2nd X-Wing and on the ARC. Adds a quality dimension the set. I wish they'd manged it on the B-Wing
-
Can I just ask about the source of this news? Yeah, I agree. New sets needed by the last X-Wing was excellent - plenty of others need rehashing. Or better yet proper new ones. UCS TIE Advanced would be good, but pointless given that we have a UCS TIE Interceptor. Now a UCS B-Wing would be well impressive.

Isn't EB memebership already free :-P ? I know that and you know that, but the new member could be well chuffed at their "luck" and our "generosity"! X-D

It would be for a house. Several houses, in fact. Just not a normal "human can live in" house. I was going to type "not a house made of bricks" then realised! Maybe not a house made using cement?
-
Oh dear. The whole process. Phes, this question was directed at you. Good luck!

This is captaintau, bowing out of the translation business. Sayonara!
-
Welcome to EB, adsljnll. To translate text, I use Babel: http://babelfish.altavista.com/ Your German text translates to "Large Ninja temple, hardly tapes Komplett in the original cardboard with building guidance! How again!" Which I reckon can probably be approximated to "Large Ninja temple, comes complete in the original box with instructions!" Whether its MISB, I wouldn't like to say, but you can ask the seller.

Woohooo! So I was right then. Funny how little memories creep in. Looks like a pretty good set too. Actually, in my youth, I had some pirate LEGO (still do, technically, in a bog bucket, broken up, with the rest of my childhood LEGO in the attick. I had the desert island one, which was well cool. Small bastille thing and the Governor's Broadside boat. What I used to do was use the spare plumes from my knights LEGO for the pirate MFs hats (as each knight got like 3 plumes, but could only use one at a time.

Well, none that I recall. But its does sound very SWish. Imperial and all. Which I know refers to any geographical area governed by an Emperor. All, in SW, there are "outposts" including outposts of the Imperial Remnant. You need to look into the EU though.
-
I may be typing rubbish here, but isn't there a Pirate set called "Imperial Trading Post"? Though yeah, I originally thought he was referring to SW and seeing as how that's what I was looking for, it seemed to fit. This is also what I wondered if they might be you, Phes - Imperial Trading Post selling LEGO on eBay and also you've started an ITP on here. There was logic behind my mental meanderings.
-
ITP arn't registered on eBay anymore. I think they reregistered a few weeks ago but have let registration lapse again. I bought lots of SW LEGO from them when I got back into LEGO. They had a good shop. Feel free to look at my eBay feedback (my eBay ID's "captaintau" (!)) I don't think they were overpriced, but I think they were fair priced. That is, little in the way of bargains, but nothing costing more than it should. Excellent service
-
No particular reason. Just putting 2 and 2 together and obviously making 5! I've bought quite a bit of stuff from them.
-
Phes, are you (or were you) "Imperial Trading Post" on eBay?
-
I always thought the terms "great" and "football" were oxymoronic. But then I suppose its all relative. So, a month of "great" football, eh? What's on? I thought all football stopped for the world cup.
-
That was fun, though yeah, cheesey. Explosion was good.
-
As I look at it, there's only 1 hour 9 mins left of the auction. NO BIDS!!! I suspect this is because a)
-
All very good and very valid suggestions / points. Cinema - good plan. Will work on that. Not seen X3 yet. Non-football party (to run concurrent to football party) - very good plan.

The General Grievous Technic set idea has been brought up many times before, and I think most if not all SW LEGO fans reckons its a brilliant idea.
