Legends of Chima 2013
Dannylonglegs replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I think that's another croc or something. I think the word reptile indicates that it belongs to the reptile faction. I doubt they'll have two themes with insect-men. (Galaxy Squad) ~Insectoid Aristocrat -

That's a fair point, and one I really hadn't thought of, but I still find hyper-specialized pieces annoying. From what I can tell, these seem even more specialized than the tops from Ninjago. ~Insectoid Aristocrat -
Legends of Chima 2013
Dannylonglegs replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
"Some say that their small heads grew three sizes that day..." I would dislike the theme, but for a small resemblance to Bionicle in flavor. I don't like the new bike pieces though, they really remind me of Megablocks, where they make new molds for everything all the time. I don't know, maybe I'll change my mind in one direction or the other when actual pics show up. Usually I end up liking some aspect of all the themes Lego makes. I'm also somewhat worried about the quantity of new head molds they're making this year, what with TMNT, Galaxy Squad with Insectoid aliens ( ), and LoC. ~Insectoid Aristocrat -
Ah! I love this! You, sir, are Awesome! This a great Dio for the Rock Raider, one of my favorite themes, and you display them very well too! Keep bricking! ~Insectoid Aristocrat

(Ooc: Sorry I keep forgetting to add the order. ) "Ok Johon, You can have the emerald, and Nur, I believe it was you to whom I owed a pheonix essence, but I'm not sure. Let's get moving. Disaster is never far behind these little tykes." -
The Forest II: Day Seven
Dannylonglegs replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I still can't believe we survived the night! The only possibility in my mind as to how that's possible is that, while the SK is working with the scum, he's not a member of their team, making it 3 to 2 + 1 today... Which still means we're going to die and there's no real way I can see to avoid it. Unless someone has a day action, we're pretty much hosed. Woof. Sheepdogs are canines. Are you scum Danny the dictionary.? -
Legends of Chima 2013

Well, it could be that you're intended to pronounce it as you would in pinyin, which would mean the title is: "Eat Horse." It makes total sense because both tigers and wolves would eat horses. Or perhaps, assuming it's not pronounced "chi" but "xi," then it could be like, "Got xi?" Maybe it's Maori. Maybe Chima's the main character that is a horse? As far as the name goes, I agree with the Energy ("xi") Horse theory to describe the bikes. ~Insectoid Aristocrat -

"Shut Up!" Yells Sylph as he fires at the Patrolman from behind. Order: Dak, Sylph, Johon, Nur. -
Well, it's time to settle the Horace Horse issue. We should have done it yesterday, but we were steered into Lynching a townie. We owe it to Brigit and Maurice to lynch this scum, and make up for not listening to them before they died. Bark! I Vote: Horace Horse (iamded). Once Horace flips scum or SK, we can look at Bradley the Band-Aid. After six days, he's starting to look dirty.

Did someone say "INSECTOIDS"? This is going to be epic. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Heroica RPG - Quest #43: Protect My Brother
Dannylonglegs replied to Sandy's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Maybe it's because we're jerks," suggested Sylph as he stepped into the back row. He slipped the bow from his back and strung an arrow in one fluid motion, betraying his skill with the weapon. He let the arrow fire at the Patrolman. -
There was probably concrete evidence against Horace before the scum killed Brigit! It's time we found out. Today could be our last day in existence, and if you're scum, then lynching a scum is the one thing you don't want us to do, and as long as we don't lynch a scum, you win tomorrow, so you can say whatever you want to convince us! I'm not taking that chance! Woof! Also, Charlotte the Shoe is pretty suspicious. I think she may be scum too.
-
Well, I say we need to do what we were all too stupid to do yesterday, and lynch Horace Horse! I'm still surprised that he escaped what appeared to be a night action result by Brigit, a confirmed-by-death townie, in favor of a very loose argument that was taken totally out of proportion. If he shows up scum, we'll know who the next one is: Mr. Let's-Kill-Anyone-Else-But-Horace-Cameron, who steered the lynch away from the horse yesterday, and who's trying to do so again today! A ratio of five to four scum is very bad and means that if we don't turn things around today, this could be it, and Cameron knows it. Well, I'm sick of us constantly lynching our own! We need to stop dodging the bullet and lynch The Horse! Woof! Also, I'd like to draw to attention Danny the Dictionary, who hardly spoke at all yesterday. I find his actions very scummy, particularly considering all the bad advise he's given me in the past. Also, Gary the Glasses, I've got my eyes on you.

Sylph sighs and brings his iron palm to his hooded face. "Thanks for trying to explain to them how we mean them no harm." He snarks loudly. He proceeds to rest against the trunk of a tree, waiting for the elves' reply. -

Should he not show up, he parts the water around Johon so that he can safely walk along the river bed to the other side, spending the appropriate amount of ether to account for the feat. -

Hinckley, that was the most epic thing I've ever seen! Congratulations, you win. Not only was that amazing, but that's also one of my freaking favorite bands! ~Insectoid Aristocrat -
Let me be crystal clear about this: considering what Cameron has publicly said, I no longer think you are scum. Cameron has been quite consistently logical (not to mention his part in Lynching Casey), and by attaching himself to you publicly, with evidence that seems unlikely to be faked (but still possible, I imagine), he has convinced me that you are not scum. When you first stated your argument, It was substance-less and unconvincing… So unconvincing in fact that I thought you were contriving it from nothing. Nothing you said after that significantly added to your argument. It was and always had been: “She switched her vote real fast!” As far as the voting first for a scum thing goes, it is possible. I admit now, it’s unlikely, but it’s not impossible considering how weak the movement was at first. Again though, I think you’re Townie now. Furthermore, your argument that Maurice and I are both scum is wrong. I'm a Townie. I don’t know if Maurice is scum, and he very well might be from the argument that’s been made against him by you and Cameron. However, I’ve always believed that investigation results, or people being told that someone is for sure scum, should always be tested! Unless you actually have results of night actions that you’re going off, Brigit’s claim must be tested first. Write this down Percy the Pen! Vote: Horace Horse (iamded) Hey! That’s my job!

"Ok, now might be a good time for a spell-casting." said Sylph, looking at Nur. "If it's possible to... part the waters, or levitate him above them, or create a stepping stone bridge by bringing up rocks or moving the water around, I'll give you the next tonic we find." -
