  1. I really like the very clever reverse SNOT build of the container, coupled with the hooklift functionality. Impressive work Selander!
  2. Very nice MOC jonwil, the glassed walls are really perfect for a Car Dealership build. The only small thing that distracts me is the two layers of red bricks sandwiched between the glass panels. You should have made them all trans-blue for consistency of the whole glass wall. Aside from that, this is a really good creation, great job!
  3. Nice work Daedalus, I really like the multi-functional compartment at the back.
  4. Wow, excellent mini Vic Viper! I just love the angling of the body sides as well as that of the cockpit part. Contrary to brickmack, I think the black paintjob perfectly futs this Stealth Police vehicle. Great job Rubik!
  5. Great job as always in achieveing the miniature version of a classic space set, this time the 924 Space Cruiser. The overall shape is pretty much spot-on, and those dome pieces are perfect for the rear thrusters. Great job as usual Legostein!
  6. Hey Peppermint, it's not actually that bad, it looks rather good IMO. The double-cockit design is very cool, and the unconventional positioning of those two cockpit pieces to get the desired shap and size of the whole cockpit is quite clever.
  7. I agree, I think it would be much better if they keep that classic lightsaber hilt unchanged. And it's not even a matter of cost, but of practicality. Why put so much effort on detailing and/or creating a new mold for a piece that will serve only one purpose? At least the current lightsaber hilt can be used for other function/application.
  8. Very nice build Ye Olde Pirate, I really love how the house seem to have sprung out of nowhere amidst all those greeneries. Very clever use of those shoe 'pieces' too. Good job!
  9. Nice scene you have there Ye Olde Pirate, though a bit more detail on the road and some dark stone grey would help diversify the building of the watch tower. Good luck in the contest!
  10. Yeah I know, you're still the best winning percentage-wise. I just rank 'em by wins, then by percentage when tied. So how about the challenge, do you accept or not?
  11. That's a pretty good build jonwil, this is a really nice creation to any busy city set-up. The only thing I'd suggest is some sort of additional newspaper stand/rack (like the postcard holder in the 8404 Public Transport set). Still, good job on this one!
  12. Wow, that is truly an impressive creation. What a great way to introduce yourself with that one. Welcome, and I hope you continue enjoying all the stuff here in this wonderful site.
  13. Welcome to Eurobricks Super Brick Collector! Do enjoy the site, and see you around!
  14. Welcome to Eurobricks Bricks2000! I hope you enjoy your stay here. PS. Sorry again if I've offended you in one of my posts in the SW 2011 Rumors thread.
  15. Updated Standings: "I still have a score to settle with you Carlos, will you accept my challenge?" - Diana
  16. Oh my I'm so sorry if you felt that way, I never meant to offend anyone with that post. It's just that people are constantly complaining about the lack of OT sets in the 2011 wave. Don't get me wrong, I'm a SW fan in general, and I just try to look at things based on the present and not in the past. I also apologize if my controversial statement has spurned 2+ pages of OT vs. PT vs. CW off-topic replies. I hope we all could get back on topic now.
  17. Very good entry Cecillie, I like it a lot! The brickbuilt cake looks great! I wish you the best in the competition.
  18. Nice entry echobasehoth! I like how you made the room, very well-done. I'm not even gonna touch about the R-18 idea (that kinky bondage is playing promiscuous thoughts in my mind). Best of luck in the contest!
  19. Nice little entry Danthebrick! So what planet did this beach vacation happened? And I never knew Chewie can surf like that! Anyway, good luck in the contest!
  20. Hufflepuff Adept Okay Turkoglu versus Gryffindor Adept Ollivander Dippet Round 1 Okay Turkoglu | 5 _________________________Ollivander Dippet | 5 Stupefy - 0 __________________________________Expecto Patronum! - 0 High - 1 _____________________________________Low - 0 Low - 0_____________________________________Protego! - 0 Mid - 0______________________________________Mid - 0 Low - 0_____________________________________Expelliarmus! - 0 Health: 5_____________________________________Health: 4 The Hufflepuff and the Gryffindor Adepts meet once again in the dueling room with both aiming to get one step closer to reaching the status of a Magus. Okay wastes no time and tries to stun his opponent with a Stupefy but Ollivander effectively counters with his Expecto Patronum. The Gryffindor then attempts a low spell that the Hufflepuff dodges and Okay in turn hits Ollivander with a spell in the head. The Turk tries to follow-up with a spell towards his rival's legs but Ollivander casts a shield charm just in time. In the ensuing sequence both duelists fire body shots that cancel out each other, sending sparks flying across the room. Ollivander then disarms Okay before he could even cast a spell, as the first round ends with the Hufflepuff holding a slim lead. Send in your Round 2 DS when ready.
  21. Congratulations to Morgan19, ThePenguin, and minion! Truly well-deserved victories for you guys for the wonderful entries you've made. Great job to all other participants as well, for all the effort you've done in making this a reall nice competition. Kudos too to LuxorV for organizing this creative contest. Lastly, I would like to thank those who shared their votes for me, I guess 5th place ain't bad at all. It was a really fun experience joining in my first contest here in EB. Can't wait to participate in more MCW contests in the future.
  22. With all due respect to OT fans, do you guys really expect TLG to release more OT-based sets considering these movies are 20+ years ago? We all just have to accept the fact that OT & PT are things of the past, and CW is the in-thing nowadays, and one doesn't need to be a rocket scientist to know that obviously TLG will base majority of the sets on the current CW series. Just be happy that TLG doesn't totally ignore the OT/PT and at least they try to release a couple of sets per year. I think one thing going for OT/PT fans is the planned re-re-release of the PT/OT in 3D which will definitely increase the chances of more OT/PT sets in the future.
