  1. Pretty interesting truck LDD designs pacc, especially on the front grilles, though it looks kinda weird with the recessed gaps in front. Did you base this on real-life trucks? Any ref. pics?
  2. Welcome aboard jnfindley! I hope you enjoy your stay here in Eurobricks, see you around.
  3. Those are really amazing CubeDude creations! Thanks for sharing DLuders! My favorite from the first batch is Pikachu and the Pillsburry Doughboy, but I still have to see the rest of the dudes.
  4. Looks great lightningtiger! I really like the tools compartment of the service truck. The multi-spot lights are good details too. Can't wait to see the final product.
  5. Great! It's very nice of you to share the build of your skeleton crab. With or without you sharing this, you really had my vote from the beginning. I hope you win!
  6. Good job for your first MOC streifen! I really like the second level of your modular bike shop with the bike displays and different tools, but the whole build could still use a few more interior details IMO.
  7. Amazing MOC de-marco! I love your alternative take on a police van build. Honestly, your version is waaay better than any official lego police van ever released. The details in your creation is simply fantastic - from the two seater front, with back passenger seat and prisoner compartment, sliding door mechanism, and even the underside details are all well-conceived and even better-executed. Impressive work as always!
  8. Sorry to veer off the topic a bit, but just the other day I saw a documentary on TV regarding the Star Trek fandom/fanatics/fanboys. I never really was a fan of the series simply because it wasn't shown here in our place. But what kinda surprised me about the docu is the relatively huge following that this TV series seem to have gotten throughout the years, to the point that the ST fans are even proclaiming themselves as "the most dedicated fans" of a Sci-fi fiction genre, which if course ticks off a bit of the SW fan in me. With all due respect to the Trekkers or Trekkies or whatever they want to call themselves, but isn't Star Wars lightyears away from Star Trek in terms of popularity and dedicated fandom?
  9. It's never too late to join in the Halloween fun! That's a very good MOC Etzel, nice job on the overall spooky wooden finish of the haunted house.
  10. Yay! It's great to finally see Vos in the series. However, he looks too "happy-go-lucky" (the complete opposite of the ever-so-serious and uptight Kenobi?) from the mere seconds of exposure in the trailer. I do hope the series will give justice to his characterization. Maybe that's why he arrived alone, without any clone troops, in the RGS as seen in the trailer.
  11. Ahh, I could already feel the Christmas spirit upon us, especially after seeing this wonderful creation - the lighting effects are just spectacular and really gives the Yuletide Season mood. :classic:Great job on this spacepilot3000!
  12. Nice Bank Safe LDD design BrickWild, looks pretty neat!
  13. Looks great! Thanks for sharing this clear hi-res pic as always grogall!
  14. Those are great photos Solscud! I love the photoshopped ones - the red lighting effect in the trash compactor room and the Alderaan explosion view. The 'jump' scene looks good but it would have been better if it weren't for the daylight on the background. But still, those are good quality photos, so great job and keep it up!
  15. I really like the hologram using the minifig trophy - very unique and clever idea. Nice job darth yogi! It came from the Karate guy in the Collectible Minifigure Series 2.
  16. Wow, you have done it again Sir, this is a truly majestic creation once again that never fails to amaze us with the sheer awesomeness of the whole build. The house structure looks really amazing, but it's really the very lush vegetation and greeneries surrounding it that really elevates the entire MOC to a whole new level. Fantastic job as always Derfel Cardarn!
  17. Very nice review Jammie, thanks for sharing. The trenchcoats are really interesting and I might have to pick up some as they look very useful in MOCs.
  18. That's a great Cottage MOC Cornelius! The exterior design is simply beautiful with very nice and cozy-looking interiors. I agree this 'generic' cottage will be a good addition to any Medieval Town set-up. Very good work!
  19. That is already a great start for your planned castle town MOC General Talon. I'm not much of a castle expert, but you might want to look at other castle creations for some inspiration on what you could further add to your initial build. Pls. do keep us updated with this.
  20. Very nice review Cygnet, thanks for sharing. That custom Panzerschreck set looks pretty good, especially the rocket holder backpack. But I have doubts about the quality, the plastic looks like non-ABS? Still, they are pretty neat designed custom military accessories.
  21. Nice work Merkurius, a good job for your first MOC! The mill is simple yet very well-built, really 'gets the job done'.
  22. Nicely done Deathdog! The Black Tower does have the spooky feel into it. I agree a few more and larger photos might give more justice to your creation.
  23. Hello narbilu, welcome to Eurobricks! Your Hogwarts Amusement Park is a very nice idea and we're looking forward seeing your designs and actually building the whole thing in real brickform soon. I agree the Aragog LDD design is already a good start, keep it up! BTW, I noticed that your are attaching the images in your posts. The better way is to deeplink your photos instead of attaching them. To do that you need to upload them in image-hosting sites such as flickr or brickshelf, and copy the image URL and paste them in the Insert Image icon when making your post. For more tips, you may check out this topic --> How to Deeplink and Post Pictures. Hope that helps!
  24. Slytherin Practitioner Johann Peterschmut versus Ravenclaw Practitioner Philius Pylos Round 2 Johann Peterschmuct | 3 ____________________Philius Pylos | 4 Crucio! - 1 ___________________________________Low - 0 Low - 0 _____________________________________Protego! - 0 Mid - 0______________________________________Mid - 0 Silencio! - 0__________________________________Mid - 1 Protego! - 0__________________________________Low - 0 Health: 2_____________________________________Health: 3 After an intense close opening round, the Battle between the Practitioners from the Slytherin and Ravenclaw houses resumes with Johann looking to even things up with a quick Crucio spell that surprises and stuns Philius. The Slytherin continues to be the aggressor, firing a spell towards his opponent's legs but the Ravenclaw blocks the attack with a Protego. Philius tries to retaliate with a body shot that was countered by the same attack by Johann. Unfazed by his previous failed attempt, the diminutive Ravenclaw once again casts a spell that hits Johann's body this time. Even writhing in pain, the grounded practitioner tries to strike Philius on the feet but the Ravenclaw puts up a shield charm in time. The Ravenclaw practitioner keeps his precarious lead over the Slytherin after the second round, but the duel is still close and it's anybody's ballgame in the decisive round. Send in your Round 3 DS when ready.
  25. Nicely done for a simple build, you got the basic shape right. With a few more mods you could further improve it. Thanks for sharing!
