  2. Slytherin Practitioner Johann Peterschmut versus Ravenclaw Practitioner Philius Pylos Round 1 Johann Peterschmuct | 5 ____________________Philius Pylos | 5 Protego! - 0 _________________________________Low - 0 Low - 0 _____________________________________High - 1 Mid - 1______________________________________High - 0 Crucio! - 0___________________________________Protego! - 0 Silencio! - 0__________________________________Mid - 1 Health: 3_____________________________________Health: 4 It's the Battle of the Practitioners between Slytherin Johann Peterschmut and Ravenclaw Philius Pylos. The diminutive practitioner starts the duel with a low spell that gets blocked by Johann's Protego. The Slytherin tries to counter with the same low spell but Philius dodges and hits Johann in the head with a dizzying spell. The Ravenclaw once again casts the same head spell but Johann correctly anticipates the move and retaliates with a body shot that slams Philius against the wall. Looking to seize the opportunity, Johann unleashes a powerful Crucio which the Philius deflects with a timely Protego. The Slytherin then tries to silence his opponent with a Silencio charm, but Philius' body shot proves to be more powerful and hits the Johann. After an intense opening round we see Ravenclaw Philius Pylos holding a slim lead over Johann. Let's find out who will gain the significant upperhand in the next round. Send in your Round 2 DS when ready. PS: I will be away for a day without internet connection so I might not be able to post the 2nd round results right away. Sorry for the delay, hope you understand. Thanks!
  3. 1st - capn skype (professional 3D lightning effect) 2nd - Rick (the one who started the animated Halloween avatar craze) 3rd - Skalldyr (simple but ingenious crab transformation)
  4. Very interesting build Dave! Nice historical background info and I would assume you captured the overall look of a Kachina in this creation of yours. Great job!
  5. Another lovely Fabuland creation, I just love the textured chimney wall and the foliage on the front door. Great job as always Hinckley!
  6. Fantastic Fabuland creation Hinckley! Great work on the fire station with the unique bell tower, but it's the classic fire-truck that is the winner for me in this MOC.
  7. I believe it's working now. I honesty don't know the source of the problem. I'm using brickshelf, and I just copy the image location (by right-clicking the photo, select Properties, and copy the Image Location and paste it on the post). Am I doing it correctly?
  8. Awww... So cute.. That's all I can say. Lovely work on this evildead!
  9. Very nice vampire vigs Peanuts! I agree the minifig legs on the roof detail is very clever and unique. Great job on these!
  10. Not yet, paging Professor Flitwick, send in your Round 1 DS, Admiral Ron is waiting. Thanks!
  11. Very interesting creation snaillad! It really has the classic 50s feel to it. I love that brickbuilt clock BTW. Great job on this!
  12. WOW, this is such an amazing town layout, brilliant job ob this Jonas! I really love the combination of official sets and your own creations.
  13. Those tools and machinery look great lightningtiger, I like the concrete saw the best. Keep 'em coming!
  14. Very nice window techniques F0NIX! Even if I'm also a sticker guy (as attested by most of my MOCs), I would still prefer not using if the desired effect can be achieved in brickbuild. But still, those look good and very well-applied on the windows.
  15. Nicely done Aanchir! I think that's the perfect way to use the microfig as a baby. Good job on this small, simple, but effective LDD design.
  16. Great! One of the most ingenious ways I've seen a DDK R2-D2 piece used in a MOC. The curvy stubby body shape looks good IMO. Very nice work optimus-onvoy!
  17. Agreed. It should be a give-and-take 'relationship' for all of us. You duel some, you adjudicate some. But anyways, I enjoy adjudicating and dueling at the same time. So as long as I'm active here (and CM also), I'm pretty sure Wizard Duel won't die and will continue. Besides, this is all but a 'dress rehearsal' to the 'Big Dance'. (Do I smell a WD Tournament soon?) --- Ms. Fabray's Vengeance Hit List: Frankfurt Flashburn Okay Turkoglu Ollivander Dippet Carlos Peerce - looking forward handing your first defeat Skylar Cisco - whatever happened to you Skylar? Carlos and/or Skylar, wanna have a taste of some Slytherin payback? - Diana
  18. Wow, great job on the Winter Banner guys! I really like it a lot - very refreshing from the spooky but equally effective Halloween one. This will probably be the closest I'll get to seeing snow (since we don't have any in our country ). And fear KimT's carrot weapon!
  19. Great find Big Cam! Thanks for sharing! This is really great way of showcasing a zombie collection - very creative, funny, and nostalgic. This, IMO, is much better than a 300 army of Spartans made by Spartan hoarders.
  20. Then we'll have to wait for another day before we can change our avatar because now we all look out of place amidst the new Winter theme of EB. Can't wait to Winterify my avatar.
  21. Great job on this eclipsegrafx! Too bad you weren't able to beat the deadline. Anyway, keep it up with this quality custom minifigs.
  22. Very nice! I must laud you for you resourcefulness in using the Boush action figure helmet for Leia, it looks perfect and not un-Lego-ish IMO. Keep it up brickplace custom!
  23. Hi Nick, despite the gigantic photo, I must say it's really nice to see you gave the the Glee cast some love by making them in minifig form, nice job making a purist customisation on the characters. They all sure look spot-on (since I regularly follow the show ). Good job.
  24. You're really doing a great service to HP fans, and LEGO fans in general as well, with all these custom minifigs you're making tin7! It's nice to see all the missing figs in HP are being completed with your customs (I like the Potter parents and Sirius Black in this batch). Keep this up and incredible work as always.
