  1. Thanks. Those are actually updated already (below) with the new Arealight ARF helmets. But it's still nice to see how the Biker Scout helmets can be effectively used as an alternative for the ARF troopers back then. Updated Lightning Squadron using Arealight ARF helmets (with customized print)
  2. Congratulations to all the winners! (It's nice to see my picks all won. ) I may not visit this subforum that much, but from what I've seen in this contest, the HF/Bionicle enthusiasts here are really masters on what they do. Great job to all of you guys! Kudos also to the contest organizer, Brickthing, for a successfully-run contest.
  3. Argh, no more HP advantage. It's up to duelling skills/timing this time. DS sent for Round 2.
  4. "Now that's how I like it, for the longest time you've been avoiding me, I'm glad to see you're now up for the challenge eh? Let the Battle of the Slytherin Magus begin!" - Diana CM, care to ADJ for us?
  5. I agree it lacked the epicness fit for a Season Finale, but it does have its moments - I love the Coruscant underground scene, nice jedi turbo speeder and my most favorite part of the episode - Ahsoka single-handedly downing the Slave I (that's the Super-Soka in me. ). Now it's time to thank Oky, great job on the Season 2 reviews, your effort, along with def's, are very much appreciated by the SW fans here in EB. You may now take a break and prepare for the Season 3 reviews.
  6. Wow, another impressive creation mcfarlandman! I really like this a lot because of the trees surrounding the sanctuary, truly very Elven-ish. This actually reminds me of in Rivendell in LOTR. The upcoming Elf minifig in the Series 3 Collectibles would perfectly fit in this MOC.
  7. Truly a great-looking MOC pig! I see a lot of small details that I really like about this creation - the SNOT build of the water, the discoloration of some of the blue bricks actually give a nice variation of blue hues for the water, and the white chimney smoke. Very good job!
  8. Great job on Medusa's serpent-y headgear - very well-done! (Though I think her face is a bit nice-looking for an evil creature). And your construction of the temple is quite impressive too, one of the best I've seen do far. Very good job overall.
  9. Looking at this vig, I could just imagine hearing the witch's high-pitched eerie chuckle ("Ee-e-ee-e-e..") as she slowly cooks her stew. Great use of that huge cooking pot, where did you get that?
  10. I like this a lot! I think you managed to get the shapes of the shoulder puff and the skirt perfectly! The white-blue color scheme is spot-on, and nice to see the ribbon detail at the back. Good job on this one Catanas!
  11. Looks good! It's nice to see the reverse build of the trailer, which is pulled-off seamlessly in LDD. Nice job!
  12. Welcome to EB Ivan Angeli! Yeah I've seen your MOC you posted in the Historic themes, and it's really quite impressive. Keep it up and hope to see more of your creations here in the future.
  13. Welcome aboard LordVuppy! Good decision finally joining in, it's always nice to participate in the discussions every once in a while. Regarding your collection, I must say that is already a good starting point, I'm pretty sure in time you'll be able to 'grow' that.
  14. Welcome to Eurobricks Locutis! Continue enjoying the forums here, as you might've been during the past year.
  15. I agree, it's really good to see people sharing the adjudicating tasks, I haven't also refereed for a while, I'm actually starting to miss it. --- Thanks Walter for the ADJ, great job especially using pedro's technique, the result really looks good now. Thanks for duelling me too Commander Fox, though I know it's really a hard task to face someone with an 'unfair' advantage right from the very start. (On a hindight, I think I should've just chosen the toughness ability as my last mastery ability, as I'm afraid no one will duel Diana anymore because of this. ) Anyway, I shall be waiting for you (and anyone else) when you've (they've) become a Magus too.
  16. No problem arealight. I can't wait to see the printed versions of the helmets. Considering the print quality of your Twi'lek products, I know the helmet printing will also be pretty good. And female Mandos? It would be interesting to see what these female Mandos are. I haven't heard about them before, except maybe for the regular female Mandalorian citizens like Satine.
  17. Nicely done The Legonater, simple but gets the job done. A bit more of additional detailing would really improve this one. Good luck in the contest bud!
  18. Hey! We have another Magus on board. Look who's leading the pack? That's right, two Slytherins. It's just a matter of time until we see two Death Eaters roaming around Hogwarts. C'mon goodies, there better be Aurors soon to stop us!
  19. Thanks! Actually, Bacara is not quite finished yet (as well as Cold-Assault Rex and Comm. Colt). I will still improve him with a better paint job and attaching an helmet antenna. As for the paint, I use ordinary acrylic paint, and I will also try using clear lacquer soon to preserve the paint job.
  20. Nice design BrickWild, the color scheme looks very Octan-ish.
  21. Great job on this Jameson42, I really like this shop a lot, especially the tiled edges and the various SNOT techniques that you used. The color combo looks rather nice too. Very well done!
  22. That's a nice start lightningtiger, I can now imagine 4-5 more of these gear racks with plenty of tools and gear to approximate the real store based on your ref. pic. Can't wait how this 'baby' will turn out.
  23. Another quality creation from you benny! I've always loved your MOCs and this one definitely didn't disappoint. I think you managed to come up with a perfect orange house without 'screaming orange visual overload'. The details are exceptional as always - the toy egg vending machine, the interior shop design, and the clothes line at the side are all very realistic. Keep it up with these great MOCs of yours!
  24. Oh my, I simply love this beautiful vignette. The classic-style design of both cars, the SNOT build of the road, and the very realistic desert elements - all make this a truly wonderful creation. Excellent work de-marco!
