  1. Very nice start greg on your planned War Memorial. 'Can't wait to see what this cross and a bunch of poppies will turn out into.
  2. I agree it really is a good gesture on your part gambort not only sharing your MOCs but handing out the instructions as well. I'm actually thinking about doing the same thing for the past week or so ever since I've been active in LDD stuff.
  3. Very interesting aircraft design Daedalus, the "bent" engines are quite a unique concept. It's always nice to see some unorthodox building styles every once in a while, so great job there!
  4. Wow this is simply an amazing MOC ISC, I really like the busy scenes in this huge diorama, featuring the multitiude of colorful characters you've created. The multi-color levels of the building are a sight to behold, and the angling of the building sides is very unique. Really fantastic work!
  5. Welcome Angeli to Eurobricks! This is just a spectacular way to introduce yourself, I could just imagine all the effort you've put in this wonderful creation! Keep up the awesome work!
  6. Wow, this is a very impressive creation Angeli, the black-red color scheme really does it for me. The building techniques you employed in this MOC are quite clever, especially at the top part of the tower. Great work!
  7. Thanks. But I think Colt's 'Phase 1.5' Helmet is almost the same as a Phase II helmet (That's why I used him as the example for the helmet to illustrate the very small difference between them.)
  8. So does that mean you don't like even the new TLG Mando helmet mold (Boba's and those of the upcoming Death Watch BP Mandos) and still prefer the old one? That might've been an exaggeration, but let's just say I have a weird and time-consuming way of post-editing pics. I still do the usual cropping, adjusting of brightness/contrast, adding borders, signature, and text, and some occasional photoshopping, add into acount my slow computer. Anyway, I think all the extra effort pays off once you see the final product.
  9. Very well-done vignette! The broken glass and the SNOT blood bath tub are very clever ideas effectively executed in brickbuild. Great job pif500!
  10. Oh sorry for the suspected mistaken identity.
  11. Ugh, I never realized that.. Why in hell do I always make that megablocks bodyside model pose.
  12. Hi there and welocme to Eurobricks! I'm sorry to ask you this, but is therre any chance that you and a former member named 'ThatGuyWithTheBricks' are the one and same person? It's just that your names are very similarly constructed. Anyway, enjoy the site.
  13. This is just an amazing work of art, I was literally mouth agaped when I was browsing through this just in pure awe. Great work on the custom minifigs, every detail on each of them is very accurate to the real characters. And even more impressive job on recreating the unforgettable scenes of the series. You really did a lot of fantastic techniques there, like the trans-black pieces for the smoke, the brickbuilt fat belly, the slitted decal for the timer number, and the baby blue van is simply beautiful. I'm instantly a fan of your creations Skrytsson, my hats off to you Sir!
  14. Welcome to Eurobricks Lazer_Blade! I really like your Droid Artillery Cannon and the futuristic cinema-like building creation. I hope to see some of your MOCs here in EB.
  15. Thanks Omi! It's nice to hear from one of the great customizers here in EB. I'm still unsure of showing it as a custom because I just recycled an old Boba Fett torso for the minifig. I'm planning to make a custom torso decal for the AT-RT driver so I can present it as a better product.
  16. I think you're really doing great for your first adjudicating chore Walter. Regarding the aligning of the columns, let me share with you pedro's technique (example is for the Jedi Duel): That technique works, but I still go with the white line technique to separate the columns.
  17. BTW, I laughed hard when I read this. Electronic expertise? What am I, a robot? (Joke!) But seriously, it's really tiring and time-consuming to set-up those photo layouting stuff. (It took me 8 hours just to do those editing/photoshopping ). But if you or anyone else need tips to improve their presentation, I'd be more than willing to share my "electronic expertise".
  18. Ah ok, I understand you completely on the "lacking the drive" part. Sometimes one has to take a break and find another time to recuperate his creative energy.
  19. For now I'll leave it blank. I'll still get three more of the Commando helmets so I could make myself the Delta Squad (I was really inspired by the one made by minifigmaker.com).
  20. Thanks for sharing this darth yogi! I intentionally didn't get the Mando helmet because I know there will be someone else who'll be able to review them. It's nice to see this metal silver-colored helmet in the Jango minifig. The shape is much more accuate to the real thing (like the new Lego Mando molds), but the usual drawback is obviously the lack of print in the helmet. Unfortunately I think only Knights and up can create polls for their topics, unless you ask a mod to make it for you.
  21. Thanks CM, actually the prints are a combination of paint and sharpie. Sometimes the laziness in me makes me use sharpie because its easier to use but gives a more sloppy finish. But I'll be getting more serious in minifig customization now and will definitely aim for cleaner and more quality custom prints. Like what I said earlier, I'm still learning the tricks of the minifig customization trade. I've not even delved into using waterslide decals, but that is the next logical step I'll be making for my next customs.
  22. It's nice to see how the combination of Lego and clone brand parts can result in a pretty good custom. Good job here Peppermint_M!
  23. Nicely done darth yogi, I see you've gotten yourself those nice Arealight custom clone helmets too eh? I like what you did there, especially on the custom prints on the helmets. But I see some of the details are a bit incomplete, like the missing 91st logo in Neyo's helmet, orange double stripes in the airbornes' torso, etc. And how come you got Aayla's unprinted head? I believe the printed one is the same price so it might have saved you some customization effort.
  24. Well, it's not at the level that I would want it to be in, there are still lots of rooms for improvement, as I'm still learning the ins and outs of the minifig customization. Anyway, we're getting a bit off-topic, so I think I'll probably get another batch of these custom new helmets to practice more. Besides, there are still lots of ideas I would like to do using this new custom Arealight helmets (Delta Squad, Galactic Marines, Camouflaged ARFs, etc.)
  25. Oh no not at all, why would I get offended anyway? The focus of this review is Arealight's new custom clone helmets, the customisation I did on them are just for example purposes and I never intended to showcase my customisation skills, which is admittedly not as great as other master customisers, it's just decent at its best. Also, I would like to point out that some of these are somehow hastily made just to make this part of the review. Don't worry I promise I'll improve on my minifig customization, believe me I look up to these great people and I would be happy to make even half the quality of their creations.
