  1. And here comes Super-Soka KDM in defense of Ahsoka: As much as I would want for the series to give a massive plot for Ahsoka, I don't think she's the type to turn into the Dark Side ala-Anakin in RoTS. And remember, she's a very likeable good character among the kids that they won't give her character a drastic 180-degree turn. That type of characterization is already reserved for Anakin, so it's highly unlikely Ahsoka will take that path even before her master does.
  2. Is it just my dirty mind, or the question didn't registered a clean message on my mind? But yes, Ahsoka's Togruta horns/headtails are actually longer now, showing how she physically matures along the series.
  3. "Ha! You're right about that little Gryffie boy! I'm on a mini-slide right now and with you boys being afraid to take on me, I could use a duel victory over you to get me back on the groove!" - Diana I'm ready, let's just wait for someone to adjudicate for us.
  4. Yeah I've experienced this little issue too, actually it constantly bugs me especially when I'm building with light bley and white parts. Here's a perfect and the simplest example: a basic light bley 4x6 plate exhibiting two different colors (white - left / light bley - right) when viewed at different angles. The lighting does affect the observed color of pieces, and it's more prominent and confusing between light bley and white. It's not really that big issue, it's just that sometimes this could lead to some building errors when you're building at this angle now and at another angle later in the building process.
  5. Nicely done alalboar! Very clever positioning of the archer's headgear to approximate Link's real headpiece. Great job also on the pixelated background. Keep it up!
  6. I love the SNOT build of the chariot, and the custom decals of the horses. Very well done as usual TinyPiesRUs! It's always been enjoyable seeing your Odyssey vignettes.
  7. I just remembered one bug I had encountered before, the helmet cannot be fitted into a minifig with a lifejacket on:
  8. I was looking for that damn baker's hat repeatedly last night and can't seem to find it (maybe I was just tired or something). I'll try to fix it later, as well as the drumstick color. Thanks for pointing out. EDIT: There you go, already edited the entry. Thanks again for the help.
  9. Excellent review TheBrickster! Thanks for sharing. This is a very nice set having three quality new figs, one cool motorcycle, and a bunch of interesting elements. This might be the closest I'll get to getting a PQ set, since my budget is tied up with the other 2011 sets, so it's nice to see this review.
  10. Very nice entry Geertos! The colorful exterior is perfect for a candy shop and fits rather well amidst the white snow setting. Good job and good luck in the contest!
  11. Very nice starfighter LDD designs BasOne, I think the best of the bunch is the MkX, I like the basic bley color scheme with just a splash of red wing stripes. The other two have issues: both the rear parts of the Mk3 land Mk7 look a bit unfinished (the gap between the sloped curves), and the checkerboard design of the Mk7 wings seem to be too much for a small ship. But those are very nice starts and you could always easily improve it in LDD.
  12. Hufflepuff Adept Frankfurt Flashburn versus Ravenclaw Student Walter Kovacs Round 1 Frankfurt Flashburn l 5 _____________________Walter Kovacs l 5 High - 1 _____________________________________Low - 0 Mid - 1 ______________________________________High - 0 Stupefy - 1___________________________________Low - 0 Expelliarmus! - 0_______________________________Mid - 0 Low - 1 _____________________________________ Mid - 0 Health: 5_____________________________________Health: 1 Ravenclaw Student Walter Kovacs look to gain that elusive second win as he takes on Hufflepuff Adept Frankfurt Flashburn, who himself is working his way to becoming a Magus. Frankfurt begins the duel with a high-arching spell that hits the student in the head. Seeing his opponent dizzied, the Hufflepuff immediately follows-up with a spell that hurts Walter in the body. The Hufflepuff continues on his offensive rampage, unleashing a powerful Stupefy that almost takes the life out of the Ravenclaw. Showing no mercy, Frankfurt then disarms Walter with an Expelliarmus and hits him in the legs with a low-sweeping spell, as the student falls into the ground, stunned with the whirlwind of attacks the more experienced duelist has delivered on him. A near-perfect round for Frankfurt! Walter didn't see this coming as he got plastered in the opening round and is hanging on for dear life. Will the student stage a miraculous comeback? Or will the Adept finally end this in the next round? Send in your Round 2 DS when ready.

  14. Your correct in saying that there isn't a scene where a non-jedi was shown flying an Eta-2, but simple logic will tell us that if there are 190 Eta-2s then they were probably made to be piloted by clones, since obviously there isn't enough jedi to pilot those many Eta-2s. Maybe you've confused this with the 2011 Rumors thread? If these discussions were in that topic, then that would've been really off-topic. But everything is perfectly fine here in the Gen. Questions Thread.
  15. Maybe what MB means is that the minifig arms might be a bit bulky for the flat feet of your ref. pic. It's quite noticeable honestly, but considering how difficult to achieve that detail is in actual brickbuilt, that's just ok.
  16. That's a really nice custom decal Cobbo! Very accurate design but still retains the lego-ish look. It would be nice to see someone do the Zatanna fig using this. Good job!
  17. Nicely done Gen. Magma! It's always nice to see various people's take on the AT-RT, and yours is quite unique and really has some interesting elements. Very clever use of the minifig arms for the tridactyl feet, as well as the curved seat part and the wheel joint. Though I feel the legs are a bit skinny, but I understand since that part has always been a tricky challenge for every AT-RT MOCer. But overall, this is a really good rendition of the AT-RT, so very good job!
  18. Nice and simple, gets the job done. Good luck with your entry!
  19. Ooh very nice artwork mosaic! I always see this skull image in punk rocker attires here in our place and I always wondered from what band is that, now I know. Great job selecta_pop, that's really very accurate to the real image.
  20. Yep I'm here! Just send in your DSs.
  21. Good duel Walter, it was nice to fare well against an experienced jedi duelist. Thanks again to CM for adjudicating.
  22. The Eta-2s were known to be extensively used by the jedi during the Clone Wars, but it was not exclusive to them, according to Wookieepedia:
  23. Pretty good first MOC Troopmaker! I'm not into TFU so I'm not familiar with the scene, but I must say the build of the broken bridge is quite nice. Good job and keep it up!
  24. Since the CW Manalorian episodes are still relatively new, I don't think anyone has tried building this yet. And I agree with Doc, if you're planning on doing this MOC, BL is the way to get the necessary parts. BTW, I believe this type of question belong to the Gen. Questions Thread.
  25. Simply amazing interiors! I just love the brickbuilt shower curtain and the toilet seat. The artwork painting adds a nice touch too. Excellent work Mariko!
