  1. Even if I'm as die-hard Lego fans as you guys are, and even if I had that money, I still wouldn't buy those. $20k for a single purchase of a 'bunch' of plastic pieces is just impractical and insane IMHO, considering the tough times nowadays. I agree. There's no fun in acquiring a lifetime worth of lego collection in just one purchase. Besides, spending $20k is never fun.
  2. I love the custom decals as always brickplace custom, the Mandalorian symbol on the shoulders is just fantastic!
  3. Wow, that's a very long time being a lurker, congrats on finally signing up! Well, welcome and continue enjoying the site!
  4. Looking great, I love the details of the interiors, I can't wait to see the final product. Truly impressive work RenegadeClone!
  5. Slytherin Adept Johann Peterschmut versus Hufflepuff Adept Okay Turkoglu Round 3 Johann Peterschmut l 1 _____________________Okay Turkoglu | 5 High - 0 _____________________________________Expelliarmus! - 0 Expelliarmus! - 0 ______________________________High - 0 Mid - 0______________________________________Mid - 0 Low - 0_____________________________________ Stupefy! - 1 Crucio! - 1___________________________________Low - 0 Health: 0_____________________________________Health: 5 (4) Wanting to end his opponent's struggle, Okay quickly disarms Johann at the start of the decisive round. The Slytherin immediately recovers his wand and returns the favor to the Turk, sending his wand to the ground. Johann attempts to hit his rival in the body, but the Hufflepuff, in one swift motion, picks up his wand blocks the attack with the same spell. Okay has had enough of this duel, and he unleashes a powerful Stupefy that knocks Johann unconscious to the ground. Winner: Okay Turkoglu! Cngratulations Oky! Okay is now one step closer to becoming a Magus. Just extremely tough luck Admiral Ron, better luck next time. Feel free to update your character profiles.
  6. No the stripes of the LS ARFs are always on the left. The screenshot is a bit of an error (see Wookieepedia entry below), but I'm pretty sure the determining factor is the number of stripes. I'm confident that the BP ARF is Stak, and not Razor.
  7. In looks like that because it's zoomed in. In the unzoomed photo, it clearly is two stripes = Stak. So those who congratulated and gave 'Nobel Prize' to him without checking facts, better take it back. Look, two stripes eh?
  8. Sorry to burst your bubble, but I'm afraid to say your Facebook friend Jordan is totally WRONG. Razor has four stripes in his helmet, Stak has two, which is the one in the clone BP. Here's the correct and hard evidence: Believe me, I did my homework months ago when I did my Lightning Sqaudron MOC so I know very well the LS members.
  9. I firmly believe YES. Was there any doubt in the first place?
  10. While doing Set 7630, I encountered this annoying problem, the 64451 bent technic cannot be rotated! (Left) Hence, the end product looks like the one in the (Right). Here are the LXF files if you want to check it out guys. 7630 Bug / 7630 LXF
  11. Slytherin Adept Johann Peterschmut versus Hufflepuff Adept Okay Turkoglu Round 2 Johann Peterschmut l 3 _____________________Okay Turkoglu | 5 Expelliarmus! - 0 ______________________________Expelliarmus! - 0 Crucio! - 0 ___________________________________Stupefy! - 0 Mid - 0______________________________________Low - 1 Low - 0_____________________________________ High - 1 Protego! - 0___________________________________Low - 0 Health: 1_____________________________________Health: 5 The Battle of the Adepts continue in the second round as both duelists try to disarm each other with a pair of Expelliarmus that cancels out each other. As if reading each other's mind, both adepts unleash their respective Crucio and and Stupefy that fizzles out as sparks fly around the room. After a couple of failed attempts, Okay finally hits his opponent with a body shot that slams Johann against the wall. Seizing the opportunity, the Hufflepuff immediately follows-up with a head-spinning hex that dizzies the Slytherin. Okay looks to make quick work of his rival, attempting to sweep his rival off his feet with a low spell, but Johann manages to block with a Protego. Johann hangs on for dear life going into the decisive round, will he be able to delay the inevitable, or will Okay finally put the final nail in the coffin? Send in your Round 3 DS when ready.
  12. Very good enrty Jammie! Truly a very busy scenery fit for a bar. One thing I would recommend though, is that since bars are primarily for 'nightlife' events, a dark night atmosphere would have been better to depict this entry (though I understand the difficulty of getting quality pics in the dark. Still, a great entry and I wish you the best in the competition pal!
  13. Sigh, there goes any chance I've got of winning. Fantastic entry AC, for sure one of the best in the lot. Seriously, how could one possibly compete with these types of entries? I really like this as this approximates perfectly the one we saw in the Clone Cadets episode. Good luck! (as if you're gonna need it)
  14. Slytherin Adept Johann Peterschmut versus Hufflepuff Adept Okay Turkoglu Round 1 Johann Peterschmut l 5 _____________________Okay Turkoglu | 5 Protego! - 0 __________________________________Mid - 0 Low - 0 _____________________________________High - 1 Mid - 0______________________________________Stupefy! - 1 Expelliarmus! - 0______________________________Low - 0 Crucio! - 0___________________________________Expelliarmus! - 0 Health: 3_____________________________________Health: 5 Two Adepts battle each other as Hufflepuff Okay Turkoglu takes on Slytherin Johann Peterschmut with both seeking to move closer toward becoming a Magus. Okay starts the duel with a spell directed towards his opponent's body that the Slytherin deflects with a Protego. The Hufflepuff continues to be on the offensive, casting a high-arching spell which Johann fails to anticipate and hits him in the head. With his rival down and dizzied, the Turk seizes the opportunity and unleashes a powerful Stupefy that stuns the Slytherin. Summoning his depleting strength, Johann manages to disarm Okay on the ensuing sequence with an Expelliarmus. The Hufflepuff quickly recovers his wand and does the same to Johann, sending his opponent's stick flying off the ground. Okay grabs a significant lead after the first round. Will Johann bounce back from a dismal initial performance, or will Okay continue his onslaught in the next round? Send in your Round 2 DS when ready.
  15. Oh I see, I actually tried and verified it (below), and you're right, the 61483 does fit into the hole of a double stacked technic plate. The aircraft piece might probably be thicker than the normal plates as you said. Great spotting!
  16. 7743 - Police Command Center / Theme: CITY (NEW) - LXF Modifications: 1) No applied stickers on designated parts
  17. No problem, at first I thought I have an 'unsturdy LDD-unfit hand', now I know I'm as normal as you guys.
  18. I did several exercises to verify/confirm this error, and here are the results: a) 61483 fits in the technic hole of the orange piece alone b) 61483 fits in the technic hole of the black 2x8 piece alone c) 61483 still does not fit in the combined technic hole of the orange piece-2x8 black plate piece set-up stated in the instructions d) I used the 61483 piece in another LDD set that I made (3222), and it fit the technic hole of the dark bley piece Conclusion: 61483 fits in the technic hole of single pieces, but not the two plate thick set-up as in set 7738. Here's the LXF file if you (or anyone) would like to verify this.
  19. So we'll be expecting Delta Squadron prints for the Clone Commando Helmets? That would be sweet, four different custom helmet prints. Now I might just have to wait for these printed ones instead of buying another batch and customizing them myself.
  20. That's a pretty good CubeDude MOC ILYA, considering it's your first try at it. Simple but gets the job done. Good job!
  21. Welcome to Eurobricks Daoh-ji! Very nice introduction. May we know your favorite Lego themes? I hope you enjoy the site.
  22. I really like those custom stickers. I think the BOC lettering is just about right, it's the same size as the Gas & Gear sign so it looks ok. But it's your call if you'll change it.
  23. I've been thinking about this also, I cannot say about the other theme's review indexes (I don't know how updated they are), but I personally prefer to keep the Star Wars Review Index. I think KimT has really made a wonderful job organizing this and he regularly updates it from time to time. Also, all the SW fans have contributed their part to cover almost 95% of all SW sets released. It would be a shame if this were removed in favor of the Set Index. All I'm saying is let's keep the SW Review Index even if the Set Index is already complete with all the SW reviews.
  24. I'll do it for you guys, just send in your DSs.
