  1. Han from the 6212 X-Wing also has leg prints.
  2. Great work on both of these Speed racer-type Racers Illerejug! I like the purple one better, looks very fresh in the eyes. It's also nice to know these started as LDD designs, now realized in brickform.
  3. Great custom clones The_Customizer! Very well-designed decals and seamlessly-applied too. A small nitpick though, the anti-blast kama with blaster holder looks rather big IMO. And question, is Fordo's helmet supposed to be like Commander Neyo's? (Sorry I haven't seen the comics yet). Oh, and regarding the background, you could use Photoshop or other similar softwares to provide interesting backdrops to your customs.
  4. Another quality rendition of this classic story into brickbuild TinyPiesRUs! I really like the overall build of the room, the color scheme looks very regal, and the fish wall decor is quite a fine detail. Great work as always, keep it up!
  5. Yeah, that's the spirit! You're brave as a Lion, Walter, now let's get this duel going! Anyone care to ADJ?
  6. Well, there are chemicals designed to remove glue/adhesives, so depending on the type of adhesive that TLG will use, there's a way to remove them. When I get ahold of these 'glued' magnet sets I'll try some experimenting in our lab. and share the results with you guys.
  7. I use a specially-designed horsehair brush to dust-off my Lego models. In cases where there are hard-to-brush dirt, I use cotton balls dabbed with common isopropyl alcohol to wipe the dirt on non-printed Lego pieces.
  8. Oh man, this is absolutely disappointing news. For someone who look forward to magnet sets as a way to get minifigs inexpensively, it's quite a big deal for me. It's like forcing people to buy official sets just to get the minifigs. It's quite discriminatory too for people who are not as well-off and big-budgeted as other collectors, and it's like telling us: "Sorry, you can't have get these minifigs unless you buy the big expensive sets." Sad, really sad... Just curious though, if the minifigs are going to be glued to the magnet, isn't it the legs are the only connection point and hence it is the only part that will be glued physically to the magnet? Will the torso/head still be detachable, or will they be glued also to the legs?
  9. Finally got mine working today. It's just a simple background change showing my sigfig against a backdrop of colorfully-lit traditional Filipino Christmas lanterns.
  10. Hey Happy Birthday Co-Adjudicator/Duelling Buddy! I never knew we are the same age. Have a nice day with your family! Oh, and BTW:
  11. "It's been over a week since I last duelled. Anyone willing to take on Ms. Fabray? If there will be no non-Magus takers then I'm issuing an open challenge to my fellow Magus: Carlos and/or Okay." - Diana
  12. I think the Other Themes name should just stay, it's a perfect subforum for all those things (MOCs, reviews, discussions) without any particular theme. "LEGO War" just doesn't sound right at all. But I do recognize a lot of brilliant military-themed MOCs around, maybe a better solution is having a pinned thread or Military MOC Index inside the Other Themes subforum which will enable easy searching and browsing. I know it will be additional workload for the Mods but that's just my suggestion. EDIT: Sorry I overlooked that one, we already have a Military MOC Index.
  13. Very nice classic studded design for this Race Plane apemax! I think the color scheme you chose fits perfectly the colors of RedBull, so good job on improvising despite the limited same-colored bricks that you have.
  14. And the VV-mania in EB continues... Very interesting fusion of VV and 'Pinktron' TheWarden, I really like the distinct highlights of pink scattered throughout the overall black color scheme of the ship. Nice SNOT build too! I'm looking forward for your next VV MOC.
  15. Very interesting modification on the Beach House exon. Converting it from a residential house into a commercial Hot Rod establishment is a pretty radical idea but I think you did a good job with it. Nice work!
  16. Oh Wow, this is just an excellent MOC LuxorV! I simply love it. I agree with Peppermint the first time I laid my ones on this beauty I first thought of Zoids. Great job on achieving an overall futuristic mechanical look for this Cyber Horse. The use of those various wedge slopes really gives this mecha-horse a muscular stallion look, and the white color scheme really looks very elegant.
  17. Another nice-looking mini Legostein! I think you really captured the broad wedge wing design of the real ship using that 'airplane tail' piece. Good job as always!
  18. I knew it's a just a matter of time before someone posts their Elven army here, and the Series 3 Elves do look great together. Nice work collecting these rogueang! Though I agree a bit of variation among the heads will make this a better looking collection.
  19. Brilliant MOC Yatkuu! A truly great concept of looking at ANH in a different perspective. I think you really captured the busy behind-the-scenes activies of the movie. A lot of details are to be liked about this build - the mini-DS set-up, the rolling camera, the chillin' actors taking a break, and the dressing room. Impressive work overall!
  20. Excellent entry brickcitydepot! I agree with CM this could pass up as an official Winter Village set. I really like the distinct Chritmas wreath decorations you've put in there, as well as the effective positioning of the white pieces and slopes to make a realistic snow effect on the roof, ground, and on the railway. Great work and best of luck in the contest!
  21. This is really an impressive build M'Kyuun, I really like the SNOT build of the whole ship. The egg-shape design of the cockpit is very well-built using the right curved slopes, and nice opening funtionality too. Great job overall!
  22. That's one cool racer you got there Illerejug! I simply love the overall sleekness brought about by all those sloping curves. Great job!
  23. I actually have mine prepared already, just waiting for Dec. 1st to come up before I use my X-Mas-themed avatar. (Timing is everything you know).
  24. I never said CW is better. I maybe a CW fan, but I'm a general SW fan so I like all of 'em - OT/PT/CW (well, maybe not EU stuff). (Sorry for the off-topic).
  25. Hi lj73! Welcome to EB. Regarding your question, you could always sell these sets through online channels like ebay and Bricklink. Or like what Mrlegoninja said, you could post your listing the BST forum once you've reached 10 posts.
