Harry Potter Minifigures by tin7
XimenaPaulina replied to tin7_creations's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
I really like Moody's very detailed torso print, great job on that tin7! The other figs are fantastic as well, now I see Hermione in a more 'kid-friendly' casual clothing. -
Gluing lego is just ok, but I only recommend it for minifig customization. Yeah, superglue is the way to go, bonds fast in 10 seconds or less. Just try to use as minimum as possible.

Looks great Solscud! Very nice use of those custom military vests and weapons. I really like this vignette.

MOC: US Army battallion command post
XimenaPaulina replied to Fistach's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Great work on this Command Post Fistach! The combination of the dark green, tan, and brown pieces really give the whole build the military camouflage look. Keep it up and hope to see more of these! -
This is really a great LDD MOC of the '62 Morgan Lemans, very clever job achieveing the overall 'slopey' look of this classic car. I'm certainly looking forward seeing this in real brickbuild. Very good designing pcc!

Pharaoh's mummys vs Series 3 mummys
XimenaPaulina replied to Solscud007's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Nice to see the comparison of the S3 and PQ mummies, I agree the S3 one makes for a better Pharoah mummy since its white color differentiates it to the more generic grey Mummy soldiers. -
Great job on this little vig Solscud! The Samurai armor holder is very reminiscent of the ones we see in Samurai movies. The sumo wrestler hair fits the samurai warrior perfectly. Very clever positioning of the legs too.

MOC: my own Castle advent calendar
XimenaPaulina replied to maydayartist's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
That's simply a wonderful creation maydayartist! I'm pretty sure your special someone will deeply appreciate this one. Really a fantastic job on the castle itself, and the quite unique concept of the brickbuilt numbers on the walls of the castle. Oustanding overall work! -
I'm lovin' these custom Pokemon figs! You did a really good job on getting the accurate looks of Ash and Team Rocket. I see the baseball cap fits quite well for Ash's patented cap. The brickbuilt Pikachu is nicely done too. Can't wait to see the completion of this MOC (with Brock, Misty, Meowth, others), good job so far Joris!

Nice work on this BARC Troopmaker! I really like the smoothness of the whole speeder, but I hope you don't mind I do have a few criticisms. Like what Doc said, I think it's a bit too long, especially on the front part, maybe a 1-2 studs decrease in length will do it. The rear part is quite ok, but do I see only a single 1x4 sloped brick? I can't see the other side so I hope there's two to make it a complete curved part. But I do like the simple mods you did to Cody, I was actually thinking doing the same customization that you did with mine - orange visor, antenna for both the visor and the shoulder.

Great to see you finally finished this UCS Slave I Anio, it's as amazing the first time I saw it. Well-deserved frontpage! Great work as always!

KielDaMan's JSF Collection Version 2.0
XimenaPaulina replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thank you Mr Man! The lime green parts in Fisto's JSF are actually spray painted since the round piece is not available in lego lime color. Spray painting that particular piece meant I had to repaint the other lime pieces as well for color consistency. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 4 poll
XimenaPaulina replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
It was kinda difficult choosing among these wonderful S4 figs, but in the end I had to go with the Punk Rocker. I believe it is one of the most suggested minifigs before, and the introduction of the guitar is a nice addition to the minifig accessories. -

XimenaPaulina replied to legokuate's topic in Special LEGO Themes
That is a great idea! Sailor torso + S1 Cheerleader 'skirted legs' = Japanese-style school girls. That is technically not a beaker, but a stoppered Erlenmeyer Flask. Sorry can't resist correcting. -
Haha! This just made my day! Funny shot SavaTheAggie! Maybe dude was wearing the babe-magnetizing AXE body spray..

Harry Potter: Wizard's Duel - Duelling Club
XimenaPaulina replied to ADHO15's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Yeah, I realized it too late, I should've picked Natural Talent first, then just reserve the Toughness as my last mastery ability when I get to Death-Eater (just like what I did in JD). Bummer. Anyway, congrats CM! Thanks also Oky for the ADJ. -

Posted by muscleman at the Series 3 topic, I though it would be better if it was posted here. Nice views of these figs without any obstructions. I'm right, the skaterboard is printed! And the Garden Gnome really looks like just a shorter version of the S3 fisherman. http://www.brickshel...rie4/8804-2.jpg -
This is indeed a cool product, a useful tool that I would definitely buy... if it were the standard 'thicker' USB drive connection.

Nice work on these Transport Truck exon! Do you more photos of it? (to appreciate it more in different views) Though I think the wheels at the back are too small for a huge transport truck like that.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 4 discussion
XimenaPaulina replied to legokuate's topic in Special LEGO Themes
My sentiments as well. Most of these S4 figs (and the other series figs for that matter) I've seen as suggestions in that particular thread and now they've become reality! Good job on hearing out the AFOLs TLG! -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 4 discussion
XimenaPaulina replied to legokuate's topic in Special LEGO Themes
As much as other people are having negative comments about another skater boy, I actually like it considering the new torso print looks cool and quite useful for other MOCs. And has anyone noticed that his skateboard is printed? (a definite upgrade from the plain one in S1). -
Thanks for starting this Primusman! It's time to finally give some photography love to the Licensed theme. Hope this will be as successful as the SW one. Nice close-up shots Burman! I hope to see more creative pics from our master photographers here in EB.

XimenaPaulina replied to legokuate's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Maybe it's just me, it's just that the S3 Pop Singer looks very Hannah Montana to me, and my idea of female rock band leads are the Courtney Love-types, not Miley Cyrus-types. Back on topic, I'm lovin' the trans-green flask of the mad scientist, I could finally make a chemist geek fig (sounds like me?). -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 4 discussion
XimenaPaulina replied to legokuate's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Even if both minifigs are music-based, but in reality, punk rockers and diva pop singers don't actually mix well. (Have you seen Metallica singing with Britney Spears? ) Though I agree a future drummer minifig would fit well this Series 4 punk rocker. -
That's quite an interesting take on a Bat-vehicle VenVoi! The blockiness of it actually fits well for its Bat-a-Ram description. Nice work!
