Harry Potter: Wizard's Duel - Duelling Club
XimenaPaulina replied to ADHO15's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Argh, that was painfully quick, it seems Okay has 'owned' me recently. Congrats anyway Oky! Thanks for the ADJ CM, now it's your time to test your Natural Talent against me. Anyone care to adjudicate? -
Star Wars: The Clone Wars: season 3 discussion
XimenaPaulina replied to Corvus's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Ha, that's what I thought also, Padme'e headdress was fake, though it's interesting to see the gazillions of 'real' hairdo she has in the series. And meh, another political episode, but I kinda liked the chase scene in Coruscant, but it was really weird seeing how Padme was such an expert in riding the BARC, quite unrealistic for a lady senator IMO. -
KielDaMan's Custom Star Wars Minifigures
XimenaPaulina replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Thanks CF! Yup, Keelyvine's decals are my first attempt at designing decals. I think it turned out pretty well, I just have to use a better printer and water-slide decal next time. Thanks Stardusty! Thanks commanderneyo! -

General Magma's Star Wars Figures
XimenaPaulina replied to General Magma's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Another great batch of customs Gen. Magma! I really like Starkiller in Heavy-duty training gear. Battle-damaged Vader's cape is very well done too. Good job and keep it up! -
Is it just me or the photos are currently unavailable in flickr? I am seriously looking forward seeing this MOC, and considering it is from master builder Derfel Cardarn, it is sure to be a fantastic one.

MOC: Restored 1957 Coupe - Getaway Car
XimenaPaulina replied to Illerejug's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Nice work on this 8-wide Coupe Illerejug, I really like the red-black color scheme, though I think it would be better if you smoothen the studs with some tiling or SNOT building. -
Amazing creation Legolas! Truly an outstanding build with fantastic landscaping and architectural design of the manor. I know words won't be enough to fully describe the professional quality of this work, it's just relly enjoyable seeing every bit of intricate detail you've put in here. Impressive job on this masterpiece!

Great contest, and oh-so delicious prizes! Too bad I won't be able to join, since I'm not an HP fan and the current holiday season will be extremely busy for me. But it'll surely be interesting to see the fantastic entries our master MOCers would come up. Good luck to the participants!

Very nice MOC Plissken! The construction of that wooden platform/pit is really PoP-ish. Good job!

When are we going to change our banner?
XimenaPaulina replied to pr0visorak's topic in Forum Information and Help
Very nice new HP banner guys! Looks really great, especially the Lumos-font "Eurobricks". How long shall this be up? Will this take over the Winter themed one? -

KielDaMan's JSF Collection Version 2.0
XimenaPaulina replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thanks darth yogi. Regarding the color of Obi-Wan's JSF, I use the ref. photos below to determine the right lego color fit for the JSFs. Clearly, Ahsoka's and Fisto's JSFs have the darker red color, so I used TLG dark red. Since Obi-Wan's has a lighter red shade, I used the normal TLG red for it. With all due respect to TLG, I feel they made the wrong choice of dark red color for both the system-scale and UCS versions of Obi-Wan's JSF, it would've been more accurate if they used standard red. -
Nice outside snow shots once again Gen. Magma! I like the idea of the 'Grow A Tree' in the snow. Did you deliberately use a blue tinge on that shot or was it unintentional?

KielDaMan's JSF Collection Version 2.0
XimenaPaulina replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thanks Darth Jar Jar! Looks like Plo's JSF is the clear-cut fan favorite as of the early goings of the voting. Thanks MB! I really made a conscious effort to get a short and accurate looking rear part. The back fin of TLG's versions is just way too large/long. -
KielDaMan's JSF Collection Version 2.0
XimenaPaulina replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thanks Burman for the kind words! I also like Obi-Wan's JSF the best, its design was the first one to be made and sorta paved the way for the other JSF designs. -
Neat review, thanks for sharing this Globemaster! This really looks like one of the best sets of the new police line-up - you get to have four minifigs, the sweet-looking new dog, the ATV and ATM - not bad for a $10 set. Gotta say that new prisoner torso with jacket and the back printing of the police are very nice details.

Nice simple MOD on the Smart car exon! I really like the all-black color scheme and the added spoiler.
-
Then you did a truly impressive job utilizing strictly "official" TLG parts/elements for this MOC.

Sorry for the very delayed response, I've just been busy with other stuff. Anyway, thanks for pointing these out Aanchir, you really are the Color Master of LDD. I already fixed these errors. Iniitial post updated.

KielDaMan's JSF Collection Version 2.0
XimenaPaulina replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Keelyvine Reus appeared in the Clone Wars webcomic. You could still view it at the Star Wars The Clone Wars website --> clickey. (Special thanks to Oky for introducing this to me, if not for him I wouldn't have seen this new JSF design). Luminara's JSF does have a weird color scheme, I personally think black would've been better fit for her. Regarding the special post-count thingy, this was supposed to be for my 3,333rd post, but I kinda lost my 'drive' that time, I only regained it this time. Thanks! The only TLC-made one that I re-made is Anakin's, the rest I just bought the pieces from BL and built them entirely from scratch. But I did follow the design of Ahsoka's JSF, the rest I designed them myself. Thanks CM! Nah, no planned space battles for this one, just solely for collection purposes. Zerb could always sign-up and sneak in Mr. Snuggly inside. Thanks Doc! When the going gets tough (read: no availabe parts), I always resort to those damned (but useful) spray paints. And AFAIK, TLG never released Obi-Wan's Delta 7B, they released his Delta 7, both in system scale and UCS, which are in the wrong dark red color and quite different detailing. So I never really copied TLG's design and made my own interpretation of this CGI model.
