Oh, nice. Mythbusters and LEGO, two of my favorite things, combined! I can't wait to see what happens on April 29. Too bad this wasn't on the real Mythbusters show, instead of only being online...

Okay, I got an avatar up. Here's an enlarged version of it: I just did a search for "pi sign" on Google, and used the first picture. I then resized it, printed it out, use a compass to make it a circle, colored it silver and blue with colored pencils and glitter gel pens, then attached it on. For the leg, I just drew a pi sign on a piece of black cardboard and taped it on. So, what do you think? More pictures here when moderated: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=380342 EDIT: I might make more of these "decals" some other time, and start a 314th Squadron (or Pi Squadron). Here's the scene I used (blurry): There's a rebel pointing a gun at a stormtrooper in the background, and the other stormtroopers are just watching him.

Lego Star Wars 10th anniversary exclusive on May 3 and 4
ILikePi replied to Commander Assassin's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I don't think so. This is what the Brickset post said: I'm guessing that it's going to be a chrome Vader... -

I don't have it either...but I wish I did... -
Thanks for posting that comparison picture ADHO15. LEGO really made this set extremely accurate as LEGO can go. The only thing that they messed up were the minifigs... EDIT: It made my wishlist.

Master eBay Auctions thread - post noteworthy auctions here
ILikePi replied to interstellar's topic in LEGO Pirates
Again, thanks for posting these Zorro. I always like seeing old sets that I never got a chance to get. A MISB AAT set for $126 or an opened AAT for $2? -
You already have the set! I want a Jar Jar minifig really badly, since I never had a chance to get one. Also, I would rather get a new minifig than get a minifig that was already made before. And everyone else is right; Obi-Wan never even attacked a Pirate Tank...
-
I second that. It's one of my favorite minifigs, even if I don't have one yet. When I get the Echo Base set, I'm going to use one of the snowtroopers as my sig-fig (with a pi sign, of course).

Happy late birthday DoubleT! When was the last time you came on, not including yesterday?
-
I can't really think of anything right now, except for a LEGO Hogwarts (with lots of other people), if I was the headmaster or something.

Welcome! You know, I think you could have just made your name "DoctorDude", or "Doctor Dude", because there aren't that many names taken on EuroBricks, as there are currently only around 5,000 members.

Good job on this MOC! I especially like the scenery and how you put the wheels on the BBQ stand. I also like how you didn't fully put on the tiles, making the road look bumpy, even if it was done unintentionally. EDIT: Also, that's a nice use of SNOT for the BBQ.

Really? That's weird, because I think that the promotion is going to be stopped soon for the US. Now most of these boxes have some weird cash card promotion (1 out of 10 chance of getting a cash card worth $5, $10, or $25).

Show Your Army, Navy, and Collection Display
ILikePi replied to BillytheKid's topic in LEGO Star Wars
No, I don't. You have all of the large sets, while the largest set that I have is the Imperial Landing Craft. All of my other sets are $10 ones. And did you have to quote my whole post? EDIT: Hmm...we're the same age, and look at what you have compared to my stuff! EDIT II: You have around $600 in stuff, while I have around $100 in stuff. My armies aren't larger than yours. -
Ah, thanks for the review of this amazing set. When I first saw pictures of it from the Toy Fair, I thought that it wasn't a good deal for $50. But now, thanks to your review, Kanal-K1's review, and Doctor Sinister's review, I have changed my mind. I still might not be able to get it (because of all of the Star Wars sets coming soon), but paying $50 for all of those accessories (two skateboards, a bike, ten seats, two pizzas, two glasses, a brown briefcase, the three helmets, etc.) and the bus () is a really good deal. You also get a huge amount of baseplates, most of which cost around $4 or so on PAB. I voted outstanding because of the wide variety of useful parts (the trans-smoky windows and seats, baseplates, etc.) and the great design of the bus. I voted above average because almost everything in this set is great, except maybe for the weird shop stickers. They just seem too "old-fashioned" to me. For those of you who are in the Reviewer's Academy, yes, I just copied and pasted this comment.

Yeah, I'll try that. Thanks for the idea! EDIT: Oh, I know what I can do! I can put the pi symbol on a Imperial insignia or something.
-
Yeah, I'll post a picture of a shadow trooper or something soon... I want my sig-fig to just be a regular snowtrooper, since they look cool, but I have to wait for the summer to get a snowtrooper minifig. Or, I might use my Royal Guard (removed from keychain ) instead...

Hmm...when I was at Hobby Town USA last year in June, I saw the Y-wing, and the Imperial Landing Craft. I was going to get the Imperial Landing Craft, but then I saw the Y-wing. It had almost the same amount of parts as the Landing Craft, but only had two minifigures. It also had no interior space. So I decided to get the Landing Craft. Is the Y-wing or the Landing Craft better (yes, I know this is off-topic ) in your opinions? I personally think that the Landing Craft is better, and I still do since I modded the interior so it could fit over 7 minifigures, 6 with "positions", and one passenger. Sorry for the off-topic-ness of this comment. If possible, you could try making an X-wing with the pieces, though I doubt that there are enough parts to make it.

Thanks for the review, Millacol. I won't be getting this set any time soon, but I like the colors of the rocket battle droids. Also, thanks for the comparison pictures, Oky Wan. I never knew that LEGO messed up the design of this set that badly. I can't believe that put all that dark blue, when it is clearly grey-ish. Also, most of the stickers don't even look like the real thing. The same goes with the body of the bomber, the wing size, and how it looks when it's in walker mode. I voted average because of what I said above.
-
It looks great, and seems to be heavily greebled, unlike other ~400 piece sets. Does anyone know what the MSRP price is going to be? I'm betting on $50.
-
I like how LEGO is starting to make exclusives for Walmart and Target, as well as TRU. That gives other a chance of getting the sets. Also, TRU is always overpriced... Thanks for finding the article booger540! I'll deeplink some pics for others... It looks amazing IMO.

Your first post doesn't make any sense, by the way. Linking to sites on EuroBricks isn't the same as Flickr, seeing that you used "<a href=url> and </url>". EDIT: Also, I hope that you didn't just sign up on EuroBricks to advertise "ROBLOX". Also, this is an AFOL site, not a kid site. EDIT II: Your "creations" also don't look like anything, just a pile of the same color of bricks stacked together...

Like the LEGO USB Stick on Instructables.com? This Brickshelf folder says that they're coming out in the summer: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=373934

Thanks for the review (even though I already read it in the Reviewer's Academy )! I would definitely buy this set if I had the money, but I need to save it all for the Star Wars sets... I really like the "background" that you used for this review. I actually don't like taking pictures on white cardboard, as it seems so plain, and the white sort of hurts my eyes on the computer. I should try taking pictures outside some day. I can see you in this picture.

Okay, I edited my post... Whoops, I didn't see that you posted the article. I'll remove it.
