That question is still a bit misleading, however... He said that it was a US only promotion, but it was also availiable in some other country (Sweden?) if you pre-ordered the Darth Vader's TIE Advanced set. EDIT: There's around 85,000 Chrome Vaders on Earth, and around 10,000 are/were in the US.

I feel sorry for you, Bossk. If I had a huge MOC like that and got it destroyed by accident, I would get really sad or mad and wouldn't even try to rebuild it... EDIT: By the way, it says that your YouTube video is private...
-
That's one reason why you should put some like watermark with your name or something on all of your extremely good creations... (or ones that took years to do) I also need to start to do that on my MOCs (if I make any ).
-
I also wrote a comment about how he stole the picture and pretended that it was his. I hope that the moderators and admins (if there are any) do something with all this MOC stealing and stuff.

LEGO System, not Duplo. I also don't know anything about PoP, but it sounds pretty cool. Can someone also give me some information about it?
-
The picture that he took of the C-3PO was also badly out of focus... If he works at LEGO, or had the chrome Vaders sent to him by LEGO, I wouldn't mind that he has all of those. If he doesn't, and just got them from normal sets, knowing that they had them, I would be very mad. I would be even more mad if he tried to sell them...
-
I hope that the LEGO System Toy Story sets have minifigures instead of huge figures (like the Duplo ones).

The effects of longterm lego building to your hands.

Whenever I take apart my brother's Technic Hailfire Droid to rebuild it, my hands hurt after... I usually just wash my hands with warm water for a few seconds, and don't build for a while. -
Lego Star Wars 10th anniversary exclusive on May 3 and 4
ILikePi replied to Commander Assassin's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I found pictures of the May 2009 calendar from some guy named TooMuchDew on Flickr, for those who are interested in seeing proof of the offer. The front: http://www.flickr.com/photos/toomuchdew/3426067634/ The back: http://www.flickr.com/photos/toomuchdew/3426067632/ Just click "all sizes" to see a larger picture. EDIT: Well, I decided to cancel my trip to the LEGO Store this week because my mom said that she might let me get stuff on S@H on May 3 or 4, if there's a good offer. -
Wow! This is an amazing MOC! Lots of detail, lots of minifigs, a SNOT road, and a cool platform thingy all in one MOC! I like how you made the roundness of the platform with those partially click-together plates. I can see the hole in the middle Plo Koon's head.

Thanks for the review! Can you give some measurements of the width and length (you don't need to post pictures )? Too bad there isn't more than one color (like green, blue, or yellow) that you can buy. Does anyone know why this and the minifigure cookie cutters are red, anyways? I can think of a few things. - Red could be the "strongest" color. - They might have just used red because the LEGO logo has a red background - Red might be the most flexible color. EDIT: Happy premature birthday (everyone)!

Thanks for the short review. [rant] I have to agree, the packaging and those big iced cookie pictures are disgusting. The packaging looks like what you get at those dollar stores. Those huge pictures just look bad... [/rant] So, do the cookies taste good? Would you recommend it for the price? By high, do you mean 1 centimeter deep/thick?

I actually really like these comics. I don't know why, but they just seem good. I thought I already posted in here after I read the comic, but I forgot.

The color goes well with those other buildings. Great work with those dark tan slopes.

I agree with both of you. My battle pack has three clones looking to the right (in their point of view), and one clone looking to the left (in his point of view). I just figured that the left-looking head belonged to the clone gunner, because he has different printing (armor) than the other three normal clones. And booger540, by left-looking clones do you mean in the clone's point of view, like these eyes? -> Or do you mean the other way (right-looking in the clone's point of view)?

Wow...that person is either very lucky or very greedy. If he/she lives in the US, then he/she owns 0.36% of the 10,000... It might not seem like a lot, but there are around 300 million people in the US... I would be happy if I even just got one. If I did, I probably wouldn't even try to get a second one, let alone 36. EDIT: Well, I wouldn't be mad if he/she bought them from places like BrickLink or eBay, though. But if he/she knew how to get them from unopened sets, I would be really mad.
-
Why are you posting this here? We're not talking about summer sets, we're talking about the summer sets that Kanal-K1 owns. I hope to see a few reviews of those sets you own soon...so many of them are still a WIP.

Master eBay Auctions thread - post noteworthy auctions here
ILikePi replied to interstellar's topic in LEGO Pirates
Thanks for posting these. These prices seem more reasonable... A chrome gold C-3PO for $53 right now? -
Thanks for posting those. Are they the official (completed) set pictures? EDIT: Ooh, I just noticed that the guns for the AT-ST are flick-fire missile pieces (only one actually fires). Pretty cool use of them, IMO. Looks like the staff part for the ewok also has a flick-fire missile piece.

Those are funny! These three were continuations of each other, which was funny:

No, I don't think that the wheels come off. They're attached to the chassis by metal rods. I need to post pictures of my other three cars later... Thanks for the comments everyone!

The picture in your first post makes your MOC look much better than the old picture (you can see it by clicking the picture). Nice work.
-
Clicking the "?" box takes you to a full size picture. It looks pretty good, though it seems to need some more colors, although the real model you're basing it on is probably only two colors, too. I would also recommend adding some tiles or something to cover up the studs on the roof.

Now I know why some people changed their names... Anyway, happy birthday Zorro! I just chose most of the emoticons that were smiling...
