I should've zoomed in on the legs... Thanks for the responses everyone. I just wanted to make sure that it wasn't a big problem...

Hi everyone. I searched for a thread like this, but I couldn't find any, so I started one. I few days ago, while checking my minifigures, I noticed that one had some faint white lines on the higher studs on the back of the legs. Usually, white lines on plastic means that the plastic is getting weaker. Here are some pictures if you don't know what I mean: A TIE Pilot minifigure from 7659 Imperial Landing Craft . A pirate minifigure from 6239 Cannon Battle A normal town minifigure that is probably over 10 years old (from 4288 Classic Bucket). Notice that on this minifigure, there is only a small white spot. A rebel minifigure from 7668 Rebel Scout Speeder A shadow trooper minifigure from 7667 Imperial Dropship A clone trooper minifigure from 8014 Clone Walker Battle Pack. A 851683 Royal Guard Keyring. Almost all of my minifigures have these lines. My V-wing pilot minifigure has the most damage to the legs. It's my most articulated minifigure (the legs and everything move very easily), and has thick lines on both leg parts. So, my question is: What causes these lines to appear? Is it from pulling down on the legs with too much force? From moving the minifigure legs too much? From keeping the legs at a position for a long time? Do your minifigures have these lines?

Thanks for the review. Although some pictures are blurred, I can still see what's in them. What accessories are in that last picture? Can you provide a list? Thanks in advance.

Awesome mods! If I had the Republic Gunship and the pieces to mod it, I would defenitely do all of those mods. It looks great.

The filing cabinet looks very good. The copier also is pretty good, but not as good as a metallic silver cabinet! The desk is, well....dusty. Just kidding, it looks great with the use of those two crates at the bottom. It seems a bit small, though...

Lego Star Wars 10th anniversary exclusive on May 3 and 4
ILikePi replied to Commander Assassin's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Not for me... If it's something really good, but expensive, I won't be able to get it. I might not even be able to get whatever it is even if it's cheap, since my parents might not want to buy things online with their credit cards... I hope that it's something cheap! -
Lego Star Wars 10th anniversary exclusive on May 3 and 4

Hmm...if it's something good, I'll have to try to ask convince my mom to get it, since it's going to be online only... EDIT: It's an "offer", so that means that it might just be getting something free with a purchase. I wonder if involves getting a free chrome Vader with a purchase... -
That looks amazing. I especially like the greebling that you did. This "TIE Clutch" looks pretty similar to the TIE Defender, except for the three extra panel thingies sticking out (wings?).

Congrautlations to all the weiners! Especially you, pedro! I forgot to vote in the large and medium categories... I hope that pedro kept his creation built, since it won first place.
-
Congratulations guys! I forgot to vote for the medium and large categories... Oh, and what will you do if the first place winner wants a poster instead of the EB stormie?
-
Congratulations guys! I think that I gave Oky Wan Kenobi, green dewback, and Natman8000 1 point each. That means that I helped them win! Do I get a prize?
-
Like always, thanks for posting these. I never saw most of those Spiderman and Harry Potter sets, thanks for posting them!
-
Congratulations Hinckley! Good thing I gave you one point... (that means that I voted for the best entry) I wonder why no one else posted yet... (except for Santa of course) EDIT: If I won, I would just replace the Fabuland head with a stormtrooper helmet.
-
Aw, I forgot to vote in the medium and large contests! I decided that I was going to vote later because of all of the entries... The staff and small contest entries were easy to vote, because there weren't as many (or there were smaller creations) entries.

Article: The Bargain Hunter's Guide to LEGO
ILikePi replied to Eilif's topic in General LEGO Discussion
You got a 50 pound box of LEGO for free? -
Wow, these are some amazing photos. So far, I like the "biker scout" on the speeder bike the most. It's my desktop background.

Well, in 2007, I spent only $30 on LEGO. In 2008, I spent around $80 on LEGO. This year, I might spend more, since I like LEGO more than I did before. So far this year, I spent around $50...but I'll probably spend at least $20 a month. EDIT: I wonder how much money mutley spends on LEGO... EDIT II: I'm probably going to spend at least $300 on LEGO this year... a lot less compared to others (but I'm not an AFOL ).

Oh, thanks for clearing that up. I should try a mafia game someday.

Thanks for the review, although there aren't many words or anything... The first of 17 reviews?

Well, since Eilif managed to fit around 500 pieces in the $15 cup, probably around 200 pieces would fit in the small cup. The small cup holds much less than half of what the large cup holds.

Actually, the AAT is $50... I hope that those big bricks are Duplo, not MegaBloks! Thanks for sharing this with us. EDIT: Is it me, or is like everyone changing their picture (you, Bricks, Ricecracker...)?

This is a great new banner. Why does only two-thirds of the banner link to the front page? The section on the right (the part that says "Visit Classic-Town.net") has no link when you hover over it. Is it going to link to the Classic-Town site or something? EDIT: The chef in the middle of the banner has a trans-dark pink popsicle! There's lots of cool details in the banner. Every time you look, you see something new!

Thanks for posting that link. It looks like the Temple of Doom set has 6 pieces of track. Four are curved ones, and two slope down. OFF-TOPIC: Are those "horn" pieces at the top-right of the picture glow-in-the-dark? I'm not completely sure, because the box art shows the pieces as dark green.
-
It's also like that for me, except maybe for the usefulness of the parts. I would rather get a large set instead of getting a set that's a bit smaller and has more useful parts for the same price as the large set. The parts/price ratio also matters.

Yes, the Temple of Doom set does seem overpriced. It doesn't look like there's any features except for moving the mine carts. It seems a bit "thrown together", as if someone had to rush to finish it.
