But no one actually does that, do they? I use Flickr and BrickShelf the most. I usually post only one picture on Flickr, and put a link to more pictures on BrickShelf.

It's almost impossible to get a chrome Vader in the U.S...

Thanks for the review. I like how a cape was included. Too bad they didn't include one for the UCS General Grievous set. By the way, what material is the cape made out of? The usual LEGO fabric?

I think you should e-mail them again. Mine only took 8-9 days to arrive, but it might depend on where you live.

The RGS looks like it really needs printed parts, or, more likely, stickers. It still looks great, though.
-
Did you mean to say that?

Great work! It looks amazing and would be even better if a minifig could fit inside. Also, welcome to EuroBricks! I see that you also live in Silicon Valley.

Nice finds Zorro! All of these are amazing deals, if the shipping isn't that high for them. -
Lego Star Wars 10th anniversary exclusive on May 3 and 4
ILikePi replied to Commander Assassin's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Did anyone try buying a brick or something to get a free poster? All you have to pay is like $5 for shipping. EDIT: When I get the poster, I'll try scanning it for you guys if it's not too large. -

I just did most of what you said! I didn't get the minifig hair, though... I didn't even think of checking PAB stuff. -
Lego Star Wars 10th anniversary exclusive on May 3 and 4
ILikePi replied to Commander Assassin's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I just placed an order. I got the $30 General Grievous set and two Public Works sets (around $42 total). And k_peek_2000, you'll get the poster. The promotion starts at 12:01 EST, not PST. -
I wish it was like that for the US...

So does that mean that some airline companies sell them? If so, how do you get them? Buy them while on the flight? Thanks for the review svelte! I bet that this set would sell really well if it was just a normal set.

Great job, although it seems pretty easy to make a brick ball like that. Here, I'll deeplink the picture for you:

Lego Star Wars 10th anniversary exclusive on May 3 and 4
ILikePi replied to Commander Assassin's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Yeah, I'm also a bit disappointed. However, if you only need to purchase $50 of stuff to get it, I might still get it. -
I just watched the Mythbusters show, and it looks like the myth was busted. The ball only needed 1 million pieces, not 5 million. It also weighed too much to be pushed easily (3,000 pounds). Also, it fell apart before it even had a chance to hit a car. I like how they had Gary McIntire and Nathan (that other guy who makes amazing LEGO statues on the show and lent them 500,000 bricks; can't remember last name). That was probably one of the best myths on Mythbusters. I hope to see more of people like Gary and more LEGO myths in the future!

Great job, Erdbeereis! Your MOCs always amaze me. I love all of the details you put, and the shape of the terrain.

How did you like the Clone Wars TV series?
ILikePi replied to kill will's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Whoops. I didn't check the above posts because I thought that there were too old. Sorry about that. EDIT: It seems just like those things that they do on Disney Channel. You know, stuff like "High School Musical: Pop-up Edition". -
Happy birthday Batbrick! 99, eh? Pretty soon you won't be able to play with those sets that have an age limit from like 6-99.

How did you like the Clone Wars TV series?
ILikePi replied to kill will's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Hmm...no one's posted here for a while. Well, yesterday, I saw a commercial on Cartoon Network saying this Friday and every Friday on, there's going to repeats of all of the episodes, except now in a special "decoded" version. I think that C-3PO and R2-D2 are "hosting" the show this Friday. -

I think that you're supposed to post sales here. -
But they displayed some of the presents availiable inside the City Advent Calendar at the Toy Fair! However, they didn't display the Pirates Advent Calendar, so maybe you're right.

I, like Clone O'Patra, hope that this "unannounced" set will be a set within the $50 price range. If it's not, then I will not able to afford it, and so will many other people who already want to get many sets this year. Well, looks like we'll have to wait and see!

I voted for Indiana Jones. Even though I have yet to buy a IJ set (and watch an IJ movie), I can see that all of the sets are very good. The Temple of the Crystal Skull, for example. It came with around 1000 pieces, most of which were good ones (like a huge baseplate and foliage), for only around $70. I also like Indiana Jones because of the great minifigures and how most of the set are scenes instead of vehicles. I tend to like sets that have many small things, instead of one huge model. Harry Potter would come in second if it wasn't for Indiana Jones. Even though I never even saw a set on the shelves of stores, I really like the books, and most of the sets seem good.
