I think "double points" means two times the loyalty stamps at LEGO Stores.
-
Aw, I can't enter since I don't have a road baseplate. Will you reveal the "mystery City set" when the contest is over?
-
So far I've found one mistake in the review index. There's a review of 4417 Aero Pod by Lasse D, but the link to the review takes you to Sinner's (Siegfried now) review of the Model Town House.
-
The Brick magazine (by LEGO) also says that the games are going to be availiable in the US in 2010.

Around how many pieces do you think there are? Also, what types of minifig pieces (like Luke, or Indiana Jones, or something) are there? Answering those questions might help you get a sale from other people (not me ).

Well, the prices for a MISB Good Wizard Set on BrickLink ranges from $3.49 (would be the release price if it was sold in North America) to $16.95 (no one would actually buy it...). Here's the link I used: http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?itemID=76966

Master eBay Auctions thread - post noteworthy auctions here
ILikePi replied to interstellar's topic in LEGO Pirates
Thanks for posting these finds! Although some of them are overpriced, it's still great to see what people are selling on eBay these days. The "Lot of Lego Star Wars Mini Figures/Acces/M. Falcon Ship" seems like a really good deal. It has some great minifigures (like a printed battle droid commander, Darth Maul, and the yellow Count Dooku), and lots of random non-LEGO Star Wars what-not. I also found this picture on the auction page: I have two "pink lightsabers" just like those! They came from some weird action figure that wasn't Star Wars (and it probably wasn't a lightsaber), the ones on the picture are a bit different than mine, so I guess that they're from a Star Wars action figure. The cool thing is that they actually fit on minifig hands! EDIT: Look at all of those chrome lightsabers on that picture above... I possibly would buy that for $60 (plus $10 shipping) if I could use eBay... -
That's a great minifig collection you have there. How many Rebel Scout Speeder sets did you buy? EDIT: I just noticed that there was an out of place minifigure head on the left of the picture. All of those minifigure heads look funny... I would never have thought of using that head and hair combination for the minifigure on the left...it looks pretty good for a long-haired man minifig! Where did that right minifig head come from? A Speed Racer set or something? It looks pretty weird... Thanks for sharing these with us! EDIT #2: What happened to the Gotham bank personnel minifig in the middle? His "$" badge vaporized.

Thanks for the review! A few weeks ago, I went to my friends' house (yes, they're twins ), and saw that they had the 2006 version A-Wing. In person, it looks really cool and seems much heavier than it looks. It also looks very sleek. EDIT: Thanks for deeplinking the pictures!

Congratulations darthperson!

He said that that picture isn't his...but I bet that there's at least maybe 5,000 small pieces in that bucket! Oh, and thanks for reminding me that today is Easter, Eilif! Happy Easter! EDIT: Here's a link to the BrickShelf folder of that PAB tub: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=258869 Look at all of those green and white bricks! I never knew that there was such a thing as PAB tubs, thanks for showing us that picture!

Do you keep your Lego Boxes?
ILikePi replied to RememberTheLittleGuy's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I've kept all my boxes since I started liking LEGO (around 2-3 years). The only sets that I don't have boxes to are two X-Pods (not sure if they had a box), and my brother's Technic Hailfire Droid. There might be others, but I can't think of any right now. I keep boxes because I always like looking at the art and designs on the boxes. I also use boxes for storage for small sets. Can someone add a poll or something to this topic? -
Welcome Siegfried! For some reason, right when you joined, Sinner mysteriously disappeared... LOL! I didn't even think of that (the OVER 9000!!!!! thing) when Siegfried said that he was only going to give name changes to people with 9000+ posts... EDIT: [insert random smiley faces (like :), :D, :(, :|, >:|, ._., >.>, >.<, <.<, '-', >_>, >_<, <_<, x_x, o_o, O_O, and :P) here]

You can just use MS paint to do it. All you need to do is open a picture in paint, click "File", then "Save As", and click the "Save as type" drop-down list. EDIT: Here's an attachment... Deleted to save space. -
Zorro, thanks for posting these. I never knew that some of these sets exsisted...
-
I wonder how many Public Works sets LEGO has...it's the number 1 top seller on shop.LEGO.com, and they still haven't sold out yet.
-
You can take as much time as you want to fill the cup. At the LEGO Store in Valley Fair, CA, there's only 2 or 3 workers (except for when there's those monthly mini builds, where there's like 5-7), and two of them have to man the cash registers.

When does the contest end? If it ends soon, I need to make a super small thing quick. EDIT: Here it is... : It shows some random guy on fire, and a stormtrooper trying to extinguish him with a bottle of green stuff (acid). The guy in the background steals the doctor's briefcase, the stormtrooper's gun, and the guy-on-fire's helmet while they aren't looking. I call this a party because the doctor is happy (since he's going to make a lot of money from that guy-on-fire), and everyone is smiling (except maybe for the stormtrooper). Happy super late birthday CopMike!

Well, the tour costs around $1,700-$1,800 USD for just two days...
-
What country do you live in?
-
Is that cotton on the far left orange piece included? I would also like to know if there are any minifigures in that pile.

Thanks for the review Matn!

Thanks for the review! I don't know anything about Orient Expedition sets, so it's great to get a review of one of them!

Yes, I also have the red/yellow Cheerios car, the orange car, and the green/yellow one. The only one that I don't have is the "2 FAST 4 U" red/black car. Also, can you delete the quote that you made in your post? There's no point in putting it there, and it just makes people have to wait for longer for the page to load.
