His comment meant something like this: I agree with diabloij. EDIT: I also agree with Erdbeereis; the price isn't that good, but still worth it for the new (!) minfigures and stuff.

TRU is probably even going to increase the price beyond the MSRP price...like they always do. So, in the words of Admiral Ackbar:

Whoa, thanks for finding those pictures of the Home One set. The box art looks amazing IMO. The minifigures also look amazing and highly detailed, and it's not a CW set! The bad thing for me is that I'm probably not going to get it, unless I don't get the Venator or something...but that probably won't happen. The Home One set just seems (and is) too small, and I would rather pay $10 more for a set with around 400 more pieces. EDIT: Starstreak and legoman, thanks for posting the change in date for the Millenium Falcon/the article, even though I posted the article here first. Time to save these pictures to my computer... Link to the article, thanks to FBTB.net: http://www.starwars.com/vault/collecting/20090416b.html

I think that this topic should be merged with the "Getting Spam..." topic. It was even on the first page, if you looked. I also got the same message titled "Important". Of course I didn't click the link, since it was the exact same link as the one that the other person sent. Also, the person was banned. You should never click links from someone that you don't know, or a new Vassal. I learned that the hard way a while ago...

Yay! My mom went to WalMart to buy some cereal, and she got a Cinnamon Toast Crunch one with the red and black "2FAST4U" car! Now I have all 6! Note that I actually eat the cereal. Pictures coming soon....
-
Thanks for the review. This sets seems overpriced for the parts, but that huge motor piece thingy and the remote control make up for it. The alternative models are also good. Now, I have a question... What with all of those pictures of the red car? Did you put them here by mistake?

The folder description says that it's just under 1:24 scale... I agree with everyone else, it looks amazing.

I don't think that a Midi-scale AT-AT Walker set is going to be made, since the price of the AT-AT is $130 compared to the only currently availiable UCS Millenium Falcon, which costs $500 USD. But we can always hope! By the way, what does "midi" even mean? Why not just use "mid"?

I believe that these belong in the Battle Pack Alternatives topic. Considering the limited parts you had, these look amazing. If only I had two of a battle pack...
-
LEGO sort of did that for the first Clone Wars sets... Remember the picture of the generic clone minfigure and stuff? Well, great find anyways.

When I first saw your picture, I thought that the pieces were on a trans-light blue baseplate/trans-clear baseplate. Great stuff you got there.

Lego Star Wars 10th anniversary exclusive on May 3 and 4
ILikePi replied to Commander Assassin's topic in LEGO Star Wars
No, that was a coupon on the store calendar. They have coupons on every store calendar. -
To see the stuff in black, you can just click (and hold) and drag your mouse cursor across it. This is called "highlighting" it. This was what he said in the black stuff:
-
Well, I meant the normal, non-Technic, non-UCS ones, if you know what I mean. (the "regular" sets)
-
Will this be the first non UCS LEGO Star Wars set to not have any minifigures?
-
Here's the article, thanks to Clone Commander Assassin: Looks pretty good IMO. I also have no idea why the box art is CW style...

Are the points ever going to reset? I want to have a chance at winning something LEGO related for once... I also wonder if anyone answering the questions just used the internet to find the answer...

Thanks for reviving this thread. I would never have known about one if you didn't. Unfortunately, my member number is the set number for some small service pack of arches ("Assorted Arches") that was released in 1989. But the cool thing about my member number is that it's the number of pieces in 10179 Ultimate Collector's Series Millenium Falcon! That's right, the UCS Falcon has 5195 pieces, making it the second largest set LEGO ever produced (first being 10189 Taj Mahal)! :classic: EDIT: Whoops, I thought my member number was 5195... So, it looks like my member number is the set number for a different service pack. 5159 Straight Runways to be specific. It looks like Gizmodo messed up the number of pieces that the UCS MF has... that was why I thought that my member number was the number of pieces in the UCS MF.

Well, since many "little kids" steal pictures from AFOL creations, the kids won't know how to remove the watermark, and everyone will see the real creator's name on the stolen picture. Lets see what the kid who stole the Iron Man custom minifig picture wrote: 1) You can see that he doesn't know how it was made. They are decals, but he says that "he painted it". 2) He said that he "was the original creator of it and then a posted at on stuff like this, google and ask.com, etc." He doesn't even know that Google and Ask.com are search engines, not places where you post pictures. 3) He uses almost no grammar and can't spell.

Does anyone else want to share their storage and sorting techniques? No one's posted in here for a while, even though it's a pinned topic.

Oh, OK. I'm sorry about what I said...

This was already posted on Brickset. Here's a link to a folder with more pictures: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=373934 The USB memory stick and stop animation video camera look great, but the others have too many random colors... If the studs on the USB and video camera are System compatible, that's cool. I probably won't be getting these, though. I want to save up my money for the 2009 Star Wars sets. EDIT: Those six things that keetong found (the picture he posted) were at the Toy Fair. I think that they were just 6 pieces of paper taped or glued to the wall as seen here.

I think that I have 43 minifigs (at least the ones that I know of). However, I've only been buying sets since 2006/2007, so that seems like a good amount.

http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?itemID=59042 Lowest price is $7 USD (5.40 EUR) on BrickLink. The other three sets that you're looking for are overpriced (over $50) on eBay and BrickLink.

Is Firox (orange) the most valuable rock monster? He comes in the Thunder Driller set, which costs $30. All of the other rock monster minifigs are in sets that cost $20 or less.
