  1. Looks like Legoliner Pilot helped start a new trend! According to the BB Code help page that Rick linked to, the codebox is just a version of "code" that allows you to scroll down (used for huge amounts of scripting). Check this out: test [right]scroll bar -> end of test[/right]
  2. It does seem that ball-socket skeletons are returning in some sets, but not all. If they are going to be widely used again, I wish that TLG would try doing something like adding small friction ridges on the sockets so that the arms can be posed and have a huge amount of articulation. I doubt that will happen, but we can always dream! TLG used a combination of a droid-arm skeleton and a ball-socket skeleton for Temple Escape for the front cover of the January 2008 US LEGO Catalog: I was about to post that before I noticed that you mentioned it!
  3. I would recommend that you use it on your thumbnail pics for your reviews in your signature. That way, people can mouse over the picture to know the name of the set that the review is on.
  4. Those decals are incredible! They look like they're high-quality printed parts. I also like the color scheme and look of the vehicle, especially the front bumper with lights! I've faved it on Flickr, too!
  5. Thanks for the review! I really like this set! I just love the use of the large pieces for the trailer - it gives it a nice round shape. The inclusion of a miniature gas pump is a great addition too! If this goes on sale I'll definitely snap one up off the shelves. If you look at the back of the box, it shows them being used as some sort of "stoppers" to prevent the gas tank from moving when detached.
  6. Thank you so much for creating all of these fine sets Jamie! I own the Winter Toy Shop, and I must say, it looks stunning. Lots of uncommon parts, and I really like the roof technique. Lots of detailing on places like the chimney too! I really, really wish that I had enough money to purchase Green Grocer, Fire Brigade, and Grand Emporium, but those sets alone would leave me without any other sets for one whole year (I cannot bear with that ). The LEGO Direct "theme" has got to be the best theme in all of LEGO history! I also like how you visit Eurobricks often, it's always great to see what the guys that designed the sets we all know and love have to say.
  7. What I'm hoping for is that the set comes with two of Grievous' head pieces, but one with a damaged print and one with a "normal" print. That would be the best! Oh, and thanks for the link to the site, Eterneo. I haven't seen the pics for quite some time.
  8. Wow! I envy your humongous collection of Modulex! I personally would like to see a microscale city, but that might be hard to make because you'll need tiles for the roads (the Modulex tiles are the same height as the bricks, right?). Also, every building would be pretty similar because Modulex slopes and stuff like that don't exist.
  9. Couldn't you just build it using the pics in his Flickr photostream? He's got pics of the side, back, and front, which makes it easy to build yourself.
  10. Let's try it... Also, EDIT: It does! Cool, this is a feature that I'll be using on some of my pics in my future reviews (it's also useful for having descriptions on pics in your sig without taking up any extra space!).
  11. Wow, the size of this project is immense! Can't wait for the next update!
  12. Me too! In fact, if I were to get this set, I would have gotten it for the clone trooper more than for Barriss!
  13. Another stunning Venator MOC! I love almost every part of it. However, the side greebles get pretty repetitive. Perhaps a bit more variety there (it's just the same pattern, repeated about 10 times)?
  14. The Brickish Association is probably your best bet for a UK LUG.
  15. Thanks for another great review Rufus! After seeing this, I definitely won't be purchasing it at normal price. Way too small, and Barriss doesn't look that appealing to me at all. However, I do like the clone trooper with the new dotted mouth pattern (I'd like to also point out that your helmet is misprinted ). Droids are always good to have, but I would rather have had at least two of the droids switched out for another clone trooper or something else. So I shall be waiting for this to go on sale before purchasing it. If it doesn't, then I'll have 30 extra dollars for spending on other themes!
  16. Here's what I said about the random colored bricks in an old topic:
  17. I think the weirdest instance of a piece used for no reason is in the Assassin Droids Battle Pack: The black 1 x 1 round plate is there for no apparent reason; it's completely hidden later on in the build by plates and wedges. Does anyone know why it was placed there?
  18. We already have a topic about this commercial over here.
  19. Sure is! It looks just like an official animation from TLG.
  20. I actually just use mine to keep track of what I plan on getting, and less for others to see what I plan on getting.
  21. Ah, there's seven pods out there already! TLG's Bradford Rant Institute Flickr photostream has pics of every single pod to date: http://www.flickr.com/photos/bradfordrant/ Lots of awesome chrome pieces that will never be mass produced! EDIT: Also, the seventh pod uses eight of those dark green pieces that can be found in the upcoming Grand Emporium as awnings!
  22. Thanks for the news Oky Wan! I was waiting for that game to come out. And thanks for reposting the pic of 7597 Western Train! I haven't seen the pic in quite a while, even though I saved it to my flash drive.
  23. I'm probably one of those with a large signature, so I'll comment...I'm sorry if anyone found my signature to be oversized or too colorful, so I've taken out all the stuff in my wishlist from the first half of 2009. I plan on removing the wishlist completely along with the two userbars ("LEGO Star Wars fan" and "Star Wars: The Clone Wars fan") and the latest review text and replacing it with some thumbnails of my reviews once my third RA review passes.
  24. Those are my screenshots from my folders! It doesn't mean anything at all. TLG usually just makes slight adjustments to existing minifigs for animated shows and things like that. It probably isn't anything like how the General Grievous minifig in the upcoming set will look like, but we'll find out in the middle of February, when we get photos of the New York 2010 Toy Fair.
  25. The guys over at FBTB have made even larger resolution box art stitches than I did! All my work for nothing! Oh well, at least I was the first, and I have this shiny new tag. http://www.flickr.com/photos/fbtbnet/4273139879/ EDIT: Their box arts are huge, so you can't see the entire thing at once. So I guess that my work is still useful!
