In the film that symbol is worn by all of Yondu's gang, and the Guardians get their outfits from Yondu's stash. I wouldn't read too much into it.

After seeing GotG, I feel like LEGO really hit the nail on the head when it comes to the sets they made. They obviously can't do everything, and what they did do provides many major vehicles and all of the really important characters (besides potentially Yondu, but I don't see him fitting in any of these sets). For once we didn't have an Iron Man 3 situation where the sets were dead wrong, or a Man of Steel situation where the sets were just repetitive and dull.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 12 Rumours and Discussion
Clone OPatra replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
A solid skirt is the slope piece, instead of pants with a cloth skirt over them.I think this skirt looks awesome. It may not be 'accurate,' but it's fantasy. It doesn't need to be accurate. This skirt looks very cool (as does the fig as a whole), so that's what matters to me.- 1,109 replies

LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors
Clone OPatra replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I think the issue that some people may be having with this design, and I feel this way somewhat, is that it just seems too similar to sci-fi things I've seen in other films, artworks, etc. The wings with engines type design is a bit too familiar. Star Wars materials can introduce new and different vehicles all the time, but they tend not to look too much like anything else in other sci-fi universes. I'm sure there are plenty of examples where I'm wrong, but for the most part, Star Wars designs look unique. This particular Wookiee ship design looks too generic sci-fi. -

It's very interesting that we're getting two hair color variants of Kanan so quickly. Perhaps original concept art had his hair being black? It's nice that LEGO is actually correcting a poor color choice (yet we still get orange-hair young Obi-Wan…). -
No, it's test footage back from when they were considering making a Deadpool movie with Ryan Reynolds. It is not confirmation of a new film.
-
Hmm, so what was that about the Inquisitor being a big threat in battle? Looks like Kanan glued him to the ceiling fairly easily

LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors
Clone OPatra replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Star Wars waves have nearly always been a smattering of things. Even when the Clone Wars was in full swing, very few waves were completely Clone Wars. I think we might be seeing one 100% Rebels wave and one 100% Ep7 wave, but besides for those the other waves would have a mishmash of things. -
LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors
Clone OPatra replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The star fighter came out in a January wave, and then there was a massive summer wave released in late July in the US with the film coming out in August. It was all vehicles. Besides for there being Jabbas son and some new vehicles, really nothing even hinted at what would be in the movie.Arguably there was nothing to spoil in the CW movie anyway, but all vehicles with a smattering of figures made sense. The initial Ep3 wave was basically the same thing. -

I'd love location sets too, but I don't see it happening. Plus doing locations run into the situational issues of spoiling specific plot points or just being completely wrong. With vehicles, LEGO already has established a history of throwing in extra figs that don't fit the vehicles. It'd be more of a win-win situation since they couldn't get stuff wrong. I'm sure there will be enough vehicles to fill an entire wave anyway. It's Star Wars. There always are. -

LEGO can manage not spoiling Ep7 by just doing vehicles. By that point we should know who most of the characters are anyway, so if it's just vehicles with figs, nothing will really be spoiled. Sure, people will speculate based on the sets, but plot points wouldn't actually be revealed. -

Perhaps you're just referring to OT, but LEGO has been putting out new material stuff for years. Clone Wars has had lots of stuff, and the Old Republic sets are of course unique as well. Many of the best Clone Wars sets were the unique materials like the Coruscant Gunship and Cad Bane's Speeder (price aside). -
What exactly should Batman have printed on his legs? He just has black legs. I know it's personal preference, but the new summer Star Wars figures that have black legs and little detail white printing just look too busy. I just don't see what this particular Batman would need printed on his legs.

If you look closely, the guy with the firehat is next to the Blacktron fan from the Lego Movie line. The colors of the firehat and the Blacktron fan torso match, so both must be dark red. The torso is quite rare, but it is already available (pic is link): It's still a slight possibility that something not yet released is buried in the video, but I couldn't spot it. The most intriguing thing I can see is the figure in front of Nightwing once that same shot zooms out. It has a black Chima fox head, and the pants kind of look like Chima, but I can't identify the torso. It almost looks Batman-ish, but no Batman I know of.

What is the cheapest way to get all 4 of the Ninja Turtles?
Clone OPatra replied to _epicster_'s topic in LEGO Licensed
Though the way Tolkein mentioned is cheaper, I'd still personally go with the sets from the first wave since you get a more rounded collection of other characters as well; namely, Shredder and Splinter. I also prefer the Donnie in the Shredder bike, since the one in the Baxter set is kind of ugly. The super-angry Raph in the Turtle Lair is the only potential drawback. -
Mmm, not really. Nobody said these are comic con exclusive minifigures. That's like saying if you bought the Lex Luthor mech, you have a comic con exclusive Superman. Truth is - you don't.

DC Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussions
Clone OPatra replied to Ezekiel2517's topic in LEGO Licensed
But if it's an entirely new character, it'll mean another character that probably won't appear in sets any time soon. I think it will almost inevitably be such a character, but as long as we're hoping we should hope it's just a variant that will be a teensy bit easier for people to live without. -
The scale is not supposed to match the minifigures. It is a large display model. The minifigs are just thrown in to make it more tempting to purchase.

It looks as though the head was missed by all of the orange ink. It's cool, but it's not going to be worth anything because, as BirdOPrey5 says, it's the same as if somebody just rubbed those parts off.

2015 The LEGO Movie rumors and discussion
Clone OPatra replied to just2good's topic in Special LEGO Themes
How did you get to three? It's more like one with a double-sided print, but I guess that could count as two. The angry one is in a new non-exclusive set. -
Why do you hope it isn't a new Batman face? The article says the set will be available in January, and it'd be great to get a new face. I presume the 'expression-changing' Unikitty has a double-sided head (though that would be quite weird). And again, that Angry Kitty isn't an exclusive anyway. It's going to be available in January… That's the way all of the SW comic-con exclusives have been, though. I don't think much can be read into it when it comes to SuperHeroes.

2015 The LEGO Movie rumors and discussion
Clone OPatra replied to just2good's topic in Special LEGO Themes
By left I believe you must mean 'right.' In any case, what an incredibly odd set. It's just another lame Micro-Manager, but if it's like $13 I'd certainly consider picking it up just for the Uni-Kitty, as would others. I can still hope for a new Batman headprint that reflects the film too, though it's quite unlikely. -
I wasn't keen on The Inquisitor before, but now that Lucius Malfoy is playing him, that's pretty cool. I hope they aren't just blowing smoke in the video by saying that he's a real threat. If there's another Clone Wars Grevious style villain in this show, that would be very disappointing.

I believe he was referring to Cap's Avengers logo that's on the new outfit. You'd have to be literally blind not to see Cap on the couch
-
From the fact that it sort of looks like the person is wearing a black shirt (under some sort of red jacket), I think it could possibly be Fury. But it could really be nearly anybody.I remember reading somewhere that all of the Avengers have team logos this time around, even Hulk on his shorts. I only see it on Captain America right now, but maybe it'll be there for the rest of them.
