Yes the magic knitting is there to the right of the Floo Network fireplace. That piece actually already existed in dark orange, though exclusive to BAM. -

It's definitely a Burrow of all time. I'm also glad they've done justice to Molly. It looks great from the outside, as expected. Lots of the interior detail is good too. My only main negative is the lack of space on the ground floor. So much is taken up with the floo network fireplace that there doesn't appear to be any living room and barely any kitchen. It's just dining room. The floo network thing is fun and all, but I'm not sure it's worth sacrificing so much. That film picture chosen for the back of the box is also so incongruous, but that has no bearing on the actual set. -

Orange classic space torso is back in stock, or it was as of 30 minutes ago when I placed an order. Also yikes those GWP space baby prices, but I bought the white one anyway... I wonder when/if they'll do a reissued black classic spaceman, and a blue one with a not scratched torso. Seems odd they'll keep focusing on doing new colours without making all five of the classic available. -

Maybe they mean the video game one? -
A younger audience than what? Minidoll themes have just as much spread of age range, build difficulty and detail as any other playtheme. The big Minions set for instance is 8+, lower than Emerald City at 9+. Sure 9+ Emerald City might look a little flatter and smoother than for instance the 8+ Ninjago Temple of the Dragon Energy Cores, but that might match the source material and Emerald City still has heaps of sideways building, as does even the 7+ set. They also look no less detailed or complex than the Sonic sets, and in fact many large City sets are targeted even younger and are thus smoother and simpler still. I'm not saying you have to like them, but I don't like this persistent myth that Friends or minidoll themes are dumbed down compared to anything else at the same age range. Sure different themes treat the age ranges a little bit differently, but overall LEGO does have guidelines for what's acceptable in the different advertised age recommendations.

We have rules and standards about posting. If someone breaks those rules and it comes to us having a private chat (which by the way is pretty uncommon these days - it happened way more 10 years ago when forums were still a more popular medium), we want to hear that that person will commit to doing better. In this wise words of the DC Comics "Just Imagine..." creator Stan Lee, 'nuff said!

The set looks like it's based on Chamber of Secrets so it should come with the rat for Scabbers too, though no telling if it will.

I'm not seeing it as a hat personally (looks like a figure with a tall accessory like a broom to me), but I do see short legs on Harry, Ron and Ginny. I can't wait to see more. -

Ah. I think they just disappeared from the list when sorted by "newest" for some reason. So annoying how that is being so glitchy at the moment. -

Yeah, I think I'll leave this one here so we don't derail an active thread, and maybe point to it from General. Anyone know what's become of the beards though? Am I just missing them? -

Yeah, I definitely don't want to lose the people that already actively check it here, but I also wonder if people miss it entirely because they don't look in the Licensed themes forum, where it doesn't naturally fit anymore. Perhaps I could create a pinned topic in General that directs people here. -

Have the dwarf beards from Snow White disappeared? I'm sure they were on there before... Yep this is the place, thanks! TBH I have thought over the years about moving this topic to General LEGO Discussion, as it is now the general PaB discussion topic. Would current frequenters of this topic be bothered by that? -

Coming back to this, while I'm also sure the manor will be open backed, it could still be quite a good manor building. It has only slightly fewer parts than the 10937 Arkham Asylum for instance, which has an excellent exterior and decent interior as well. On the other hand, Malfoy Manor is far more memorable and important for what happens inside than outside, so they could decide to focus on the interior with only a basic exterior. Time will tell. -

The 2018-2020 is "my" Hogwarts and at this point I just buy the new whole sets in the theme that offer something different that I'm interested in, or source some of the most interesting new parts/figures individually. And I don't even have all of those first wave of castle sets, just the big three - Great Hall, Clock Tower and Astronomy Tower. They are doing figures to a really high standard in the latest iteration, especially the teachers, and Hogwarts-wise that's all I need. -

Hogwarts: Chamber of Secrets had 11 if you count the anniversary figures, and Grimmauld Place had 9. 12 figures in a $150 set isn't totally impossible, though I also think 9-10 is more likely. -

Thanks BrickBob and BrickMatit. It's hard to keep track of where info is coming from! I'm disappointed personally that Malfoy Manor is such a high price point and piece count. The set will surely be cool, but I can't see the location warranting it, and it's a bit out of my usual single-user price range though will likely have Minifigures I'd really like to have. Very glad the Duelling Club should be small. I really wasn't a fan of the face print on the last Lockhart (too many lines!), so I hope they do it better. Surely the Flying Lesson set will have to include some castle for that kind of price? -

Sounds like it's going to be epic, and the last playscale one was already pretty epic. Hopefully the description that it includes all the siblings is true.... I'm a little bit more skeptical since a variety of reputable rumours have been wrong this year. -
They did do the rabbit with red eyes from the Lunar New Year set. Brasso or otherwise remove the extra print, and that's basically an albino rabbit. Not a big deal that the nose is red too, IMO.

LEGO Videogame Tie-Ins - Rumors & Discussion
Clone OPatra replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Fortnite topic is open for business. You can keep discussing the sole Zelda set and any other random videogame tie-in bits and bobs in this topic. -
I think everyone is assuming the F1 cars will be 6-wide, rather than Speed Champions' 8 wide. But like Lion King said, Speed Champions are all about specific cars and nailing lots of details, while these F1 ones will be generic and more about racing and play. There have been racing cars in City for a long time.
