  1. That would be useful, and it's not that different from the existing ones.
  2. Congratulations, hope your wedding day becomes a memory for life!
  3. Yeah, I watched it on Wednesday and I like it. I have no doubt some people probably will dislike it or even hate it, but I like it for what it is. Alden Ehrenreich does a good job as Han Solo. it's obviously not the same as seeing young Harrison Ford in the originals, but I think he did a good job, I can easily accept his version of Han.
  4. I thought it was good for what it was. Alden Ehrenreich does a good job as Han Solo, I think, different, but good in his way. I didn't expect very much, but solid movie as it is.
  5. Solo: A Star Wars Story
  6. They don't have to e.g. make all the axles and friction pins black again, but they could have them in darker colors that doesn't stand out so much, but are still different.
  7. I'm not a big fan of it either, but it doesn't bother me too much. The funny thing is, I built a fair amount of Technic sets when I was younger, between 1998 and 2002 or so and I don't ever recall having issues because of parts with the same color and similar shape like 2L/3L black pins, ditto axles etc. At least not much since I don't remember any. I understand that there could be a need for a little bit of color coding, but not by far the extent that TLG uses today. IMO they could have continued with even axles in black and odd axles in LBG and maybe all the other types in DBG and maybe Dark Tan if necessary, the 3L pins could have been made dark blue to become less visible than the blue ones we have now, the 3L pin with 1L axle could remain only in DBG etc. I kinda do like gears and working mechanisms and stuff being a bit more visible through brighter colors, but I agree that axles and pins in particular could have blended more together.
  8. Deadpool 2. Really enjoyed this movie, I especially liked Cable.
  9. Cool MOC
  10. Ok. Yeah, I agree, I too prefer the community names.
  11. Ok, thanks for the explanation. I do wonder why Bricklink and other sites use different names though, makes it all confusing to me.
  12. With the company being Finnish and what basic I know of Finnish pronunciation, I'm pretty sure it's close to pon-seh.
  13. I don't have very much to say, but this looks really nice and cool
  14. The advantage I see with the shape of the crane arm on the Ponsse Scorpion King is that it seems to double as extra protection around the cab, above and from the sides. With the rounded shape of the real thing compared to what TLG have done with 42080 based on the prelim, it looks quite ingenious.
  15. Got a package today with 2x 42033 which was on discount, for the dark blue panels. Now got 4 of them in total.
  16. I'm not that much into constraction anymore, but I would like to see more droids. I think the robot-like appearance suits droids far better than human characters. I would have liked to see the cancelled Battle Droid, as well as some of the above mentioned droids like Droideka and IG-88.
  17. That's how they did it with the Porsche iirc, released on June 1st through Lego.com and Lego Stores and Aug 1st elsewhere.
  18. Nice work, I like it. But I think the hull looks too tall, at least compared to the length of the ship, I feel the hull should have been longer to look accurate with the height.
  19. I have to say John Williams and his Star Wars compositions. I especially like some of his most recent work in The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi.
  20. Second viewing of Star Wars: The Last Jedi tonight.
  21. Star Wars: The Last Jedi
  22. I'm going to watch The Last Jedi tonight, less than 9 hours to go
  23. Thor: Ragnarok premiere last night.
  24. I still have my Silent Mary displayed. I disassembled the collapsed main mast and made the base of it below the "break" a bit higher and more visible. The bowsprit also lacks the mast and sail since I needed some sails to compare sizes on the masts of a Technic ship I've had in the building stage for a long time. I bought the movie on Google Play the other day and rewatching it, I really think the movie version looks good in a fear-inducing way as the torn, wretched hull it is. Add to that the sounds of the torn wood cracking and bending in particular scenes and this is a ship I wouldn't like to meet at sea.
