  1. If there was an applause emoticon, I'd give it.
  2. "Arasmyth, cut that spell out. I don't you wastin' all your energy conjurin' your office out in the middle of these woods, just to see if that robe matches your decor."
  3. It was going to be coming anyways when you had finished up at the shop, we can't have loose gangs running about tormenting couples and running protection rackets in the city now can we.
  4. At least you're not having to cry for your supper.
  5. My subconscious was telling me that I had heard that name before, but I just couldn't think of where, so since I was crunched for time and Ratabor is what came out. Well maybe it's only his code name, maybe he's a Ziegfried in disguise as a cleric or something like that. Ah well. Do I look like Zepher, besides Ratabor was coming to save the day and you were pretty much on the right track, but then you decide to go bank robber style on me and blow the safe, so what do I do? I Ramp up my quest clock and scoot you into battle. Everything's better with werewolves anyways
  6. 8 the Monsters 4 set was on sale and all the heads make for great army building, as you'll see a little later As to figuring it out, did you mean the riddle or your solution of breaking the safe and going after the columns by force? As the saying goes, if a PC tries to step out of line, you just throw a monster at him.

  8. "I'm a cleric by training, but when I found my deathly palor sent my patients into the afterlife instead of bringing them out from it, I took to selling my tears in little glass vials at the different curiousity and magic shops. I've barely been getting by these past few months, I'm now in debt to my ears and I don't have a cent left to buy any more vials from that crotchety scrooge or his son or his grandfather, even though I've tried my utmost to cure him. I might be able to help, but could you spare me even two gold, you do look like a valient gentleman, a courageous lordly knight. Please... take pity on me." The werehound looks over at the crying cleric and meerly shrugs his shoulders at Glorfindel's question.
  9. The cleric blows his nose on the hem of his cloak. "Tis the only way I might keep from starving to death. I need that heartless werehound's bottles, otherwise I can't make a living, and I can't pay off my debts and sooner or later I'll either starve or be thrown in prison."
  10. The old werewhound looks at Sir Glofindel, laughs a high little chuckle and simply replies, "Ipanlf aeacr e s" The door to the glassblowers shop opens and a rather somber and disheveled individual walks in to the store. "Gillian, my dear, dear friend, I'm in need of more..." the rest of his speech is incomprehensible as the man sets to sobbing uncontrollably. The middle aged werewolf who addressed the Party earlier turns to the stranger. "I'm sorry Ratabor, I've extended your line of credit far beyond kindness, not to mention your tears haven't done a thing for my old dad to boot. Just listen to him now, going on garbly gook and so on." The raggedy man turns to the party, "Oh noble sirs, could you find it within your noble hearts to spare a penny or two or five of gold for a poor cleric down on his luck? I must have it, tis the only way I might, I might..." The cleric again breaks down into an uncontrollable rain of tears.
  11. I've fixed the text font to hopefully solve the issue, sorry about the confusion.
  12. emphasized = important = hint
  13. Emphasized words are usually repeated. That's all I'll say for now.
  14. "Do I look like a wizard? How about a cleric? I know, what about some backwords speaking orc? We've never had to figure out what he was trying to say, he still got all his work done and in a week's time he's usually back to normal. It's odd though, this always seems to happen on the third of the month."
  15. There's a hint in Rillian's last post.
  16. "Point taken Althior. Namyrra, I would suggest using a potion if you should have one on you." While waiting for Namyrra to decide whether to take a potion, Skrall prepares to lead the party down left path, while coating his quarrels with poison from his last vial of venom.
  17. "So are you chaps advertising for a play or something? What's with all the fancy swords and stuff? Wait, is that a chicken on your head mister?" "Grandpa didn't always use to be like this, three years back, three werewolf thugs came in here looking for donations, dad tried to settle the situation, but grandpa went at them with the glass shears and they didn't take to kindly to that. Grandpa was out for three days and when he finally came to he couldn't remember a thing for three weeks, it was awful. But we eventually convinced him we were his kin and things have gotten back to normal aside from his sporadic relapses, like this one."
  18. The text font should show the distinction, the I's are i's and the l's are L's, though you probably want to keep everything capitalized as it is. Nope, sorry I lied, after further study, mine is an anagram, except the words created, don't make any sense However, be glad this isn't a true anagram otherwise you could be here for years.
  19. With a crack and a crumble, Skrall finally muscles out of his rocky prison having watched the entire battle as more of a spectator rather than a contributer. Stretching himself, he notices Althior has also been encased. "Hmmm... Well we do need his compass." Trudging over to the mage, Skrall whacks the statue on the head cracking the stone exterior. "Finnegan, get him a hot compress for his head, he's goin' to need it." "Now concerning this loot, Arasmyth for dealin' that final blow and silencin' that demon once and for all, go ahead and take the robe. Bob I see you're without a potion so this is for you. Namyrra, why don't you take this bone, your spell throwin' came in handy quite a few times, even if that dementor pulled some of his disappearin' act more than once." With the loot divied up,Skrall walks over and collects a paw from the werewolf and the dementor's cowl as evidence of the kills. He then looks around for footprints and or other exits from the clearing.
  20. That's only the half of it, I'm afraid. But be consoled, it's not the hardest one in the book. Masked Builder, I don't know if there's a reason for it or not, but K-nut and I should both level up since we were only petrified not knocked out, at least according to the rules.
  21. Nope, no anagrams with me. You could always come back in a week, oh and did I mention the old coot also hid the last of the Fractionation Columns
  22. "Eh?" "Iln othn aetv oeI tga o h laoisut ttn loIe dmhouoosurtss e b oriren a wkwi hntidhcorhwo suI g ahln idtv heie f a wlIal l wlaa" The Party takes a step back from the old wizened werehound. "Psst. You'll have to forgive grandpa, sometimes he's not all here, just yesterday he was pretending to be a duck. The name's Rillian. If you come back in a week I'm sure he'll be all better, I hope he doesn't owe you money or something like that. Otherwise, your guess is as good as mine as to what he's saying."
  23. I'm afraid the only place you can visit after you find Julian, is Gurnam's and only to pay back your debt. But if you wish to return to him before that to take out a loan, you are more than welcome to do so. The point of Gurnam was to provide acessibilty to quest exclussive items since most people splurge on upgrades before a quest begins. Sort of like in Brickdoctor's quest , where the shops have some pretty cool items, but they're mostly out of everyone's current price range, thus Gurnam gives you cash, but there's a price for the luxary.
  24. "Ah a glass dagger, made it myself, here you are," the werehound hands Atramor the weapon. "Sorry, that Writ of Service is only good at a Blacksmith's shop. I've got some Gnomish Fractionation Columns on hand," the werehound looks quizically at the Party. "You chaps into medicine? Anyways as to this boy, I've been gone on a trading trip in Ennon and just returned. I suggest you talk to my father over there blowin' on the glass, he might have seen him. Oh and take care, he can sometimes be a bit senile."
