Skrall glanced down at the Teuthisal, "I'm afraid the mage can be rather tempermental and I cannot speak for his actions. Perhaps you can tell us how many of your countrymen have joined the rebels and I can see to it that the mage is restrained." -

"Aye take it you don't go in fer the raisin' dead bodies thing either do ya? Live rebels are bad enough, but undead ones I'm sure would be a hassle." Skrall surveyed the rest of the party. "Well now that I've got yer attention at least, I should relay to ya that we may have more than rebels on our hands. I've been informed through an old friend from a past quest that there is a group of rogue lion knights goin' by the name of the "Cult of the Chimera". From our history lesson, ya can probably figure out what they're up to. The source is a good friend, and if the Cult is allowed to rise up, we may be dealin' with more than just a few peasants and pogs with spears and swords." -

Skrall joined the rest of the company with the Imperial Pikemen, "Well done all, reminds me of when I was in Ennoc havin' to bring down some of those bearish brutes. Though I regret havin' to do it again so soon." Skrall speedily passed out 10 gold to Arthur, Alexandre, and Isabella, pocketing the remainder, before turning to Luke and the Count. "Well now, how is everyone back at the camp, Lady Leofwena is recovering I assume?" Skrall watches as the Imperial troops start collecting and surveying their equipment. Something was stirring in Skrall but he hadn't been able to put his finger on it quite yet. Walking over to the men, he pulled out 9 Gold pieces and flipped a coin to each of the troops. "Well fought men. See to it that ya get yer equipment looked after and some rest and vittles in before the end of the day. I look forward to yer presence on the hunt later on." -

"Imperials, forward march. I don't want a single scrap of steel makin' to those rebel camps," Skrall roared as he and the Imperial Pikemen advanced upon the Unarmed Rebels. Battle Order: Arthur Skrall Isabella Alexandre -
Are you asking everyone's opinion on what we think the order other people would sign up, or something else? I have never watched a complete episode, can only name 3 characters, and would probably miss all of the references. So Skrall probably wouldn't be going, besides he even can't ride a horse let alone a pony.

Skrall watched as the Knights circled around the Pogs, "Hopefully they'll move in on' em now that they're in the rear," he thought to himself. Meanwhile, at least one of his troops had fallen, but numbers were still on their side. "Keep at 'em lads, show these squids how ya make calamari in Dastan." Skrall rallied the Imperial Pikeman and once again charged the Rebel Scout unit. Battle Order: Arthur Isabella Skrall Alexandre -

But then there is also undead, beast, vermin, humanoid, and mechanic, which do not correlate necessarily to one of the elements, I guess what is trying to be said is that elements are for attacks, types are for types, and mixing the two can be confusing. For example I could have a fan or vacuum type monster, I would classify it as a mechanical monster, not a wind monster.

That is the thing about Heroica RPG mocs, it's more like building movie sets than actual structures. Usually my anal retentiveness wants me to finish tiling a floor, but if everything I need is in the shot, there's no reason I have to spend another hour looking for those last 6 floor boards that won't even be in the shot. It's a whole different concept of building, because you can hide things and do semi-special effects rather easily because the photos can be shot from any angle you choose. But it still is weird not building things to their completion. And I agree, great story and moc's thus far Rumble Strike. I can't wait to see where it ends up.

I believe ever since the first quests that it was usually the been the case that the mug gives you the amount of damage you do, though some QM's might have done differently.

Actually the Enchantment is permanent it just can't be transferred to a different weapon later on.

Dark doesn't necessarily mean evil, I think a Black Knight would also be fitting to someone with a more somber or tragic background. For example, I don't know a lot about Endgame's Sorrow, but I could see him fitting into the roll of a black knight, not because he rubs off as an evil or even bad attitude character but because his background of suffering and pain can channel into the crippling and gut-wrenching strikes of the Black Knight.

Skrall surveyed the battle field from his place with the Imperial soldiers. He lifted a helm off one of the soldiers and borrowing a spear from another smashed a hole in the peak of the helmet. With his make shift speaking trumpet, Skrall called over to Arthur, "Master Regulus, you're commandin' crossbows not sling shots, pin those unarmed rebels down before they escape with the weapons stash, they should be in range!" Skrall watched as Isabella and the knights prepared to intercept the escaping rebels from behind. "Good," he thought to himself, "if they get out of range of the crossbows then at least we can catch 'em with the cavelry." Skrall handed the soldier back his helm and spear as he took up his heavy crossbow in his hands. "Alright boys, let's give those Rebel Scouts what fer," and with that Skrall led the Imperial Pikemen against the Rebel Scouts. -

Boomingham's words seem to have a profound effect upon the creature. "You seem. Like a. Reasonable. Individual. Yes Mr. Szalinski. Consulted us. On the. Science. Behind. The machine. For many. Months. This. Demonstration. Was to. Be the. Culmination. Of our. Work. But it. Would. Seem someone. Might have. Had. Different. Plans. I. Believe you. Already know. Our names. I. Am. Doctor Fahad. OoC: Sorry this is going to be a long note. First, just note that a Hunter's Shield roll also does damage against an enemy, as discussed here. I'm not sure if this will matter or not, but it would mean that the battle was done a round earlier and I don't know if that would save us an extra pikemen, though that also means that Luke never got his Vortex shield healing everybody so Also let me see if I understand how this battle system works. So we each control a unit, but we do not participate in the battle itself. Is attacking done like normal i.e. you roll a dice for each unit or for each individual soldier. Is the rebel scout unit composed of only scouts or are there crossbowman, swordsman, and butchers in their as well and if so are there stats the same as the battle earlier? When you say if one group of rebels reaches the mountains they are gone does that refer to any group of rebels or only the unarmed ones? Do the enemy units get a move/attack phase or are they only dependent upon if we attack them or not? IC: Skrall surveyed the battle field, "Ms. Toboso, I don't think a horse will bear me so run over there and accompany those knights. Master Arthur, take charge of those crossbowman. Alexandre go ahead and hold down the fort here with the Lion Knight Pikemen while I take the Imperial Forces and try and stop those run aways." -
Not to interrupt this fuzzy moment, but I've got to agree that is some pretty cool loot. Are the gloves of counter striking not considered an artifact? I thought hand-wear were in the Treasury.

Sandy said about a dozen pages back that the Hunter's favored type continues over to the next battle.

Nur examines the lock but finds nothing unusual about it. He then places the key in the lock, but as he does so, the door opens and the Party is greeted by a pair of rather strange individuals. "Can. We. Help. You?" The insectious individual inquires in a static fashion. How shall the Party respond? -

After much contemplation and a near tumble into through the ceiling of the first floor, Nur finds himself on the other side of the room. He grabs up the key and conveniently finds a rope and a magnifying glass in the crate next to it. Using the rope Nur is able to cross back to the rest of the party without having to navigate the floor boards again. Dwarven Key - Opens dwarven lock within the Inn of the Winking Gargoyle.
