  1. Arg don't do that Zepher, pretty soon I'm going to need Monk Pretzel for a confession. In other news, Brickdoctor what do you use for the back drop on your quests, is it Photoshopped?
  2. If you're referring to the video link he provided, it is not the solution, not to my knowledge at least.
  3. The room was last occupied by a magic wielding pyromaniac that left a parting curse upon the room summoning an ethreal miniature black hole that increased the force of gravity in the room 2-fold negating the ability there after of any inhabitants to jump while occupying the room.
  4. Skrall took a step back from the swinging swordsman, it was like facing down a wounded owlbear he reflected before shouting over to Arthur, "Aye, Arthur you and Luke stick to healin' for the time bein'. We need to finish up these chaps quick like, if we're goin' to stop those pogs." So saying, Skrall fired off his another shot from his Heavy Crossbow at the Rebel Teuthisal Dual-Swordsman from the back row. "Hold still Master Skrall while I repair that damage, then you can shoot without any risk of further injuring yourself," stated Luke as he attempted to heal Skrall from the Back Row. Battle Order: Luke Arthur Skrall Alexandre Isabella Count Knyghton
  5. QM Note: Step 51 is not a legitamate move as there is currently a board between N and Z and you can not lay one over the top of it. You're close though
  6. "Ms. Toboso, I think Mr. Chevalier has the dual-swordsman taken care of, try and stop that rebel with the single sword from gettin' away."
  7. QM Note: Only one board at a time may be carried and only one of you can be out there at a time due to the fragility of everything, in case you're wondering yes it can be solved.
  8. QM Note: Sorry Brickdoctor, I was missing part of the diagram, there are specific start and end points to the puzzle which I forgot to put in the first time. I don't mean to sound like a poor sport, but do you want to go ahead and try again? I've updated the picture and clarified the rules. Edit: The question has come up from an outside observer and just in case you are wondering as well, the planks may not cross, i.e. you may not lay one over the top of another. 2nd Edit: I just was informed that one of the joists is missing a label. Picture has been accordingly fixed, sorry guys I'm really batting a thousand here
  9. Docken knocks upon door 3 and is surprised as it swings open of its own accord revealing a room in definate need of repairs. A few floor boards remain braced between the joists, but it would appear the last resident of the room had an affinity for fire. Across the room, the Party notices a shining key, however they will have to cross the make shift bridges to reach it. QM Note: In order to reach the key a party member will need to cross the gap by utilizing the boards that are already in place spanning between the joists. A party member may carry a board with them but it must exactly fill the gap where it is placed. The boards may run vertically or horizontally. The boards may only be placed between joists or between a joist and the start/end point. Submit a solution in the following format: _ : Walk along board < : Pick up plank to the West > : Pick up plank to the East V : Pick up plank to the South /\ : Pick up plank to the North < : Put down plank to the West > : Put down plank to the East V : Put down plank to the South /\ : Put down blank to the North For example: _AV>_J would involve walking across the short plank to point A, picking up the short plank to the South, placing it to the East, and then walking across the short plank to point J.
  10. Skrall watched as the Butcher fell over dead, he saw the rest of the rebels still struggling to hold their positions but they were obviously on their last legs. "What I wouldn't give for a lightnin' bomb right about now," Skrall thought to himself as he unshouldered his Heavy Crossbow. If there were Pogs on the way, he was going to need something with a little more spring. Skrall took aim at the Rebel Teuthisal Dual-Swordsman from the back row. "Ms. Toboso, take care of that single swordsman, if ya'd please. Luke, please accompany her see if you can at least trip up the squid," Skrall called over to his companions as Luke whacked at the Rebel Teuthisal Swordsman from the back row. Battle Order: Arthur Skrall Alexandre Isabella Count Knyghton Luke OoC: Would it be possible to send Count Knyghton and Luke to bolster and prepare the troops ahead of us?

Jess's inspection of the key hold reveals that it is dwarven made and unknown to her. Boomingham is unable to see anything through the key hole but does hear the regular breathing pattern of two or three individuals sleeping. The Paladin tries rushing against the door, but it is ironically stoutly built and does not give under the Paladin's weight. The room behind the door remains silent. What shall the Party do? There still exists rooms 3 and 4 which have yet to be tried.
  12. Again, Docken's pounding is answered only with silence.
  13. Skrall studied the movements of the rebel soldiers picking up on their tells and marking their Huminoid tendencies. With his observations in mind Skrall let loose a bolt from his Hunter's Crossbow at the Rebel Teuthisal Butcher from the back row, wielding a cleaver alone, he would have no chance at evading the death wish that Skrall let loose at him. "Hold tight Master Regulus, I'll be right there." Luke attempted to heal Arthur from the Back Row. Battle Order: Arthur Skrall Alexandre Isabella Count Knyghton Luke OoC: If I'm correct, I can only mark one type at a time according to the rules, so I can either choose Humanoid or Aquatic.
  14. QM Note: Ah, my fault I see where the trouble was, I didn't correct everything that copied over from the first round. It's fixed now, sorry about that. Results of Round Ten of the Duel of the Broken Nose: Boomingham vs. Natnail - Meditate No Healing Natnail free hit vs. Boomingham Boomingham again tries to heal himself, but gains only enough time to meditate and restore one ether to himself before Natnail finishes the duel with a kick to Boomingham's gut. THE DUEL HAS BEEN LOST. The Party: Lord Lawrence Boomingham, Level 16 Paladin (Zepher) Power: 27 (+3) Health: 1/30 (-6) Ether: 16/16 Gold: 7 Inventory: King of the Desert (Longsword) (WP: 9, Fire Darkness), Frozen Saber (WP: 9, stunned effect, Light) Shaduex Shield (SP: 5), Thorny Diadem (+3 to power, but -6 to maximum health) 3 Potions, Bedroll, 5 Bones, 2 Holy bombs, 2 Meads, 1 Phoenix essence, Pick-axe, 1 Jo-no Tree seed "Take that thing you call chivalry old man and bury it with yer old bones." Natnail, slams the door shut and the Party hears the bolt being thrown. What would the Party like to do?
  15. OoC: We determined that you won't get the free hit, only the first 4 in the battle order will.
  16. QM Note: I calculated damage from front row. All attacks I have treated as from the front and all healings from the back. I'm fine if you want me to run round nine again, I just will leave the decision to you on what you would have done.
  17. QM Note: You stated, that you would attack until your health fell below 10. Would you like me to replay round nine with you healing yourself?
  18. OoC: Free Hits take row into account. Knyghton is fine targetting the crossbowman and I'll have Luke heal him. Why did we have to be surprised. "Luke, on second thought, Count Knyghton just took another hit from that crossbowman, patch him up will ya?" Skrall shouted over to the sage. "Back and forth, back and forth, what I wouldn't give for that Althior fellow, he always seemed to know what he wanted." Luke reached out his staff to heal Count Knyghton from the back row.

  23. OoC: Arg okay, skip the role-playing aspect. Rerevised battle order: Count Knyghton Skrall Alexandre Luke Arthur Isabella
  24. "Naw we're just havin' a little fun ain't we deary," replied the man. The orc girl shivered. "The bugs are rooming next door." The man nods in the direction of room 1. "Anything else I can do for you gentlemen?"
  25. "Arthur has a good point, Ms. Isabella try and trip up that Dual-Swordsman while yer wearin' that invisible of yers." "Master Skrall, Count Knyghton is fine, the crossbow bolt only grazed him. What would you have me do?" Luke dodged out of the way of the oncoming Rebel swordsman but took a slice to his arm. "Go ahead and heal yerself up, we'll be needin' ya later." Luke heals himself from the back row. Revised Battle Order: Skrall Isabella Alexandre Luke Arthur Count Knyghton OoC: I thought untargetable means that a free hit that would have targetted her actually skips her and goes to the next individual in the battle order.
