  1. If I may, Ensign Mandel (Dannylonglegs) believes Commander Gordon (Scubacarrot) is a scum who is making Lieutenant Francis' (Awesomestar) "sheepish" behavior [Lieutenant Francis "agreed" with commander Gordon earlier today] sound "scummy" since that was the strategy that Ensign Mandel (Dannylonglegs) utilized in the first day of the training simulator. While I am grateful for Ensign Mandel's experience in the training simulator, I think his accusation seemed to quick. Commander Gordon made only one refer Lieutenant Francis' behavior and Mandel makes it sound like Gordon was all gun ho for making Francis look like either candidate for today's lynch or a vigilante's hit. If Gordon had continued his suggesting that Francis might be a scum, then I might look with more favor on Mandel's argument, however that opportunity has now past and we are still left in the dark as far as a suspect.
  2. OoC: I thoght Dragon Scales gave the blessed and lucky effect, or are these from a different variety of dragon? Skrall flung the headress over to Galen, "Ya earned the soddin' beasts head fer all that stabbin' and slicin' ya did back there, I imagine it'd make a pretty fine hat. Harkenshire, I suspect ya have the makin's of a warden about ya so why don't ya keep the beast's hide for armor. Cronk, the cloak seems best for you, may it draw ya closer to the righteous light ya keep mentionin'. Isabella, take 2 of the Dragon Scale, I'll hold on to the other one. Now where did that monolougin' chap get to?" <How does it feel friend, knowin' that yer people have once again been avenged?>
  3. I saw that holo film once, it didn't have a pretty ending.
  4. "Isabella, I leave it to you whether to try and revive Harkenshire." Skrall loads a bolt into his Hunter's Crossbow and launches a shot at the Mist from the back row as Vipera continues the assult from the front row. Battle Order: Vipera Isabella Cronk Skrall Thothwick Galen William
  5. Results of Round 1 of Bluehood Brawl: >Bartholomew Docken vs. Garnet Jinn - Shield >En Sabah Nur vs. Ruby Jinn - Confuse Confuse Jess Islanti vs. Topaz Jinn - Aim (No Assassination) Lord Lawrence Boomingham vs. Aquamarine Jinn - Defended Damage Haldor Skovvgard vs. Topaz Jinn - Damage Belthazar Bluehood free hit vs. Bartholomew Docken Docken immediately goes into a defensive position as a defensive Aura begins to weave its way around him. En Sabah Nur's earth spell spins up a dust cloud that envelops the Ruby Jinn confusing it. Jess's blade skirts the Topaz Jinn doing only slight damage. Boomingham charges at the Aquamarine Jinn Frozen Saber held high, but is beat back by a watery punch delivered by the summoned creature. Haldor's swing misses the Topaz Jinn who turns and delivers a stunning strike to the Nord. Bluehood armed with his now monstrous strength delivers a massive hit against Docken, but thankfully the warden's shield absorbs most of the blow. PREPARE FOR BATTLE! 6. Ensign Holloway checkin' in, feels like I've got 2 whole days of engine maintenance experience under my belt so no need to worry about any leaks in the coolant for today.
  7. OoC: I figured that, but I wasn't sure as it said he fired a bolt through the chimera, I wanted a decapitation. Skrall continues to flail the greatsword but he is too exhausted from his slaying of the Chimera to do any good.
  8. "Cronk, if ya'd be so kind to patch up Harkenshire, the rest of us will finish off this soddin' mist." Skrall unsheathes his Greatsword striding into the mist flailing around from the front row. <Keep settin' it a fire from the front Vipera, it's bound to disperse sometime.> Battle Order: Cronk Skrall Vipera Thothwick Galen Isabella William
  9. "Well beastie it's been fun." Skrall draws the Greatsword of Lion Nobles and charges at the Chimera from the Front Row. <Vipera, why don't ya give our Chimera friend a little friendly fire from the front with me.> Battle Order: Cronk Skrall Vipera Thothwick Galen Isabella William
  10. "You are as cowardly as Szalinski, no matter I doubt there will be many who agree with your sentiments." With that Bluehood rushes over to the machine pulls a few levers before placing himself under one of the transporting repositories. Sparks fly, the floor quakes, and a loud whirring sound is heard, as the machine does it's devilish work. "Now at long last, my ancient power of magic and arcana will smoosh you like the insects you are and just to ensure it I've brought a few friends as well." Bluehood draws 4 lamps from within his robes as each one begins to billow colored smoke from their openings. PREPARE FOR BATTLE! 11. OoC: Go ahead and run it. <Vipera, keep to the back for now, lay low and don't attack.>
  12. I like the sword as is Endgame, it's very similar to an item that I had initally planned out for a battle mage only piece of backwear.
  13. OoC: I'm going to assume the Skeleton Decoy will absorb damage as if it were in the front row, but I want to Skrall to stay in the back row to avoid the Chimera's special. "Alrighty, no one else do a thing, chargin' at that mist will do more harm than good. Cronk go ahead and heal yerself again from the back row for the moment, everyone else hang back." Skrall pulls out his Skeleton Decoy and uses it from the back row. Battle Order: Skrall Cronk Galen Thothwick Everyone else sit out this round
  14. I congratulate you Bob for sticking this through and appreciate your maturity that you have shown in handling this entire situation. While I don't agree with the manner Flipz chose to express his frustration, I believe his point is valid. I think in the future the hosts should state the rules at the beginning and let the players go at it from there. Bob's last comment that there were no clues in the pictures, did make an impact as several people commented afterward that Bob's clarification sealed the case against Flipz. Scum are free to make up any lie they want even if it goes against the rules and I think it's the players that need to call them out on their lie not the host. That all being said, I'm glad the game is going to continue and it was great playing with all of you the first time round.
  15. QM Note: Sorry to keep holding this up, but as this is one of the last major plot decisions I would like a statement from at least each of the players. I'll try and be more specific in the future when I need entire Party opinions.
  16. OoC: William's potion should have restored Vipera's health. If no one targets the Chimera this round, does it receive two free hits? "Everyone pull back, we ain't goin' to be able to land a hit with that mist foggin' up everything. Harkenshire keep the mist pinned down, while the rest of ya take a breather. Cronk try healin' yerself this round, but make sure ya do it from the back here." Skrall uncorks his potion and uses it on Cronk from the back row. <Take a breather mate, we don't want ya knockin' yerself out just yet.> Battle Order: Cronk Skrall Thothwick Galen Isabella Vipera William
  17. Skrall picked himself up off of the ground, "Harkenshire, get to healin' Vipera with yer potion. Now where were we beastie, ah yes I was about to put another bolt in yer gullet." Skrall launched another bolt at the Chimera from the back row. <Keep at that mist Vipera from the back.> Battle Order: Skrall Thothwick Galen Isabella Cronk William Vipera
  18. Sorry old pal, but something was fishy from the moment we started chatting and now I know why. I think a lot of what has needed to be said has already been said, but my strongest conviction is that we hold to Lieutenant McAndrews reasoning and do this by the tried and true way of lynching the most probable/less complicated threat and learning from the result. Thus I'm going to vote: Lieutenant Zachary Jones (Flipz). If Holloway is a neutral cop, do we at least have a second result from last night, if it's a townie then they should obviously remain hidden and if it's a scum then maybe we should have that out in the open.
  19. And take note, always finish your heroic speech by insulting the villian. Goofy mage indeed...
  20. "Hello beastie, say hi to the welcome wagon. Sorry we couldn't roll out the red carpet for ya, we were to busy plannin' yer next funeral. Galen, Isabella, Harkenshire, I'd actually recommend lettin' loose yer fire bombs this round, Cronk go ahead and heal yerself up." <Vipera why don't ya see if yer fire breath can pierce through that mist from the back row for the time bein'.> Skrall loads another bolt into the Hunter's Crossbow before taking aim at the Chimera once again from the back row. Battle Order: Cronk Isabella William Galen Skrall Thothwick Vipera
  21. "Szalinski has been a fool, yes we initially began this project for the betterment of all the citizenry of Eubric, but that is as far as he was willing to take it. This machine, this marvel, this world changing mechanization will give birth to a new age. For nearly a century I was spurned by near every mage in the land for my tinkering in bring magic to the common man, nearly a century I spent toiling away at unlocking the secret connection between matter and magic, between that which is earthly and that which was etherial, nearly a century honing my magic for this very day when magic would indeed become might. When the greatest warriors could become the most astute magicians and the most archaic mage would make the world cower at his conversion to the most fear inspiring war lord in the land. This my friends is the beginning of greatness, this is why I needed Gurnam to support the project to keep the appearance of only being interested in the theory and not the end result, this is why I had to keep Szalinski from continuing with the project once he began to have his moral reservations, this is why I needed the machine to malfunction that I might use it for its full potential. Just think my friend, even the poorest and most imbecile barbarian no longer be limited by that vacancy that seems to exist between his ears, even the weakest mage no longer fear that his scrawny build and frail constitution shall limit his ability to have noble influence over men. Will you join me in ushering in this new era, in bringing equality, and limitless access to all the peoples that inhabit this mire of a city? I offer you this, the opportunity to taste the other side. My dear earthen mage, did you not ever wish that your strength equaled that of a mighty barbarian that your foes might quake at your stature and maidens swoon at your galent figure? Or you mighty Paladin, did you never wish to draw closer to the holiness that has guided your every step though you may have resisted its call? Or you oh sleek assassin, have you never wished to smite the pugnacious smiles off of every snob nosed mage with a spell of your own? This is what I offer, do not fear my friends the trumpet of progress!" How shall the Party respond? QM Note: To clarify Bluehood's offer: You are being given the opportunity to permanently raise either your health or ether by a corresponding decrease in a maximum of half of your total health or ether (i.e. Nur could decrease his total health to 13 but increase his total ether to 34, classes without ether can obviously not decrease their current ether, they can however decrease their health in order to increase their either should they choose a different advanced class down the road.)
  22. The party makes their way back to the Common House. Upon entering they are greeted by Szalinski standing in front of the repaired transmogriphier. "Ah, Haldor my good friend! The town watch said you were looking into the details behind our little explosion we had here." At that moment Belthazar Bluehood shows up. "Szalinski! You are supposed to be recovering still, you should not be straining yourself. I'm sure the heroes and I can straighten out what ever issues might have arisen." Bluehood shoos a grumbling Szalinski out of the room. "Now then heroes, I can see you are the persistent type. As you can see Szalinski is doing fine, why don't we wrap this whole issue up and explain it to the good town watch gaurdsman as it being all due to some mechanical error of some sort? No need in getting everyone's linens all in a wad. Science experiments fail all the time, not everything is due to evil or sabotage of a hole in an ethereal transport hose."
  23. Oh dear, well here we go. What the character loves: A pipe full of sourweed, a tankard of ale, coins in his purse. What the character hates: Mages (they're bad for business), persecution against greenskins, romantics. what the character fears: Tight spaces (Claustrophobic), his wife and children. What the character believes: The world cannot be changed, the only goal is to be satisfied with one's decisions in life. What the character values: Hard work, commitment to finishing a job. What the character wants: A crossbow bolt though Wren's heart, a crossbow bolt through all his debt collecters' hearts, a crossbow bolt through every greenskin hater's heart, satisfaction. What the character knows about: Archery, Ambushes, Skirmishes, Robbery, Politics, Philosophy. People who made a difference in the character's life: His wife and children, Wren, Harper (bandit from his past) Discoveries that made a difference in the character's life: Heroica hired an orc barmaid, he can't change the world. Decisions that made a difference in the character's life: Leaving his wife and children, working for Heroica, beating Bartholomew Docken in the arena (I was all set to make Skrall switch to Warden and someone had to go ahead and lose).
  24. OoC: Sorry Zepher, but the according to the first round the Chimera should be at 391 this turn as far as health, and if my miss during the first turn was supposed to be an aim, then it should be actually be at 384. Skrall hopes Vipera's heat would start to defrost the rest of the party soon, but for the meantime he studys the Chimera's tactics marking it's beastial behavior. "Hold fast all of ya. Harkenshire I was referin' to that Bomb marked with the two X's, but never mind that now, heal up Cronk with a potion fer the time bein' I'll lend ya my own when we're finished here." Skrall sights down the flights of his next quarrel and launches it at the Chimera from the back row. Battle Order: Skrall Galen Thothwick William Cronk Isabella Vipera
  25. OoC: Unless there is something special about the Chimera, Skrall's miss should have been an aim. Does Galen gain gold from his mug, I believe he is missing it. I also can't want to see the Chimera. Skrall shakes the rest of the frost off of him while loading up another bolt before targeting the beast from the back row once agian. " Nice to meet ya Thothwick, as ya've probably gathered my name's Skrall and the other rogue is Isabella. Vipera and I have fought together in the past and I promised I'd help if I was able when the time came. All righty, stay in their folks we'll bring this thing down and make sure it stays dead this time. Harkenshire, what does that strange bomb of yours do?" Battle Order: Cronk Skrall Isabella Galen Vipera Thothwick William
