  1. Skrall unholstered his Hunter's Crossbow letting a bolt fly at the Metasimian from the back row. He glanced up at Arthur, "And how is the fine lady Wren doing these days? I hear she's on her way to Eubric"
  2. "Then test it you shall. Arthur, Benji would you like to accompany us? We can continue our catching up during the middle of the rounds."
  3. Ahem, little miss, I can see you're not from around these parts and I'd appreciate if you did a little bit of reading ahead of time. This is the first time I've proposed it in its details and not a single person disagreed with it. You can draw it out yourself, if one person lies about another person lying, that automatically means the other person is telling the truth, Bingo! we've got two people we can make definite conclusions on. Not that it matters much anyways now that it seems like this whole lie detector thing is turning into one big knot of he inferments and impliements. As for Daisy, I see her consistant behavior being no more suspicious, than a certain hedgehog being super paranoid, or your consistant pointing out of people based on stuff that you partially read. If you'd like me to base my vote on these consistencies, I could place a vote for you if it would make you feel better.
  4. I'm not the only one, are you being selective and trying to protect your scum buddy.
  5. Skrall spotted the Metasimian, "Thothwick there ya are. Ready fer our bout in the Arena?" Sign-ups for Quest 54: Taking Out the Laundry Ellira Arbour (Sandy) William Harkenshire (VolcanicPanik) Talion Dwinlas (-obelix-) Lawrence Boomingham (Zepher) Dreyrugr (Vash the Stampede) Stigveladi Kötturin (Psykater) Alexander Vandangrant (Wedge09)
  6. "Arthur, good to see you lad. Things went south, literally, are cover was blown while were investigatin' a bunch of missin' town watch and we had to book it out of there pretty quickly. It seems an age since I saw you as well. You were headin' to Haddon last time wasn't it?"
  7. This is a very good point, why expose a lie when everybody except a non-conformist gives it at least a little creedence? So unless we are chalking things up to inexperience or a really good WIFOM, that would mean at least Trisha is telling the truth, correct?
  8. I would have had a certain lucky mage ever rolled Mirror Damage. Also, since when is stealing people's clothes an important thing.
  9. Skrall walks back into the hall looking for the metasimian. "Now where could he have gotten to." Skrall mutters silently, he prods the warden Benji. "Have you seen the metasimian Thothwick? Wait weren't you tryin' to sell that hat of yers earlier?"
  10. Yes, I think we can all look back on circumstances when scum team mates did a horrible job of listening to each other and I for one don't think we should disregard that very real fact.
  11. Well what more do you expect? This is the first day after all, even if we get mountains of statements of BS from people, there's got to be a few gems we can dig out right? I'm still confident we have time to get enough semblence of reason from the two primary suspects, but throwing the suspicions of them out the window seems more like a distraction to me.
  12. So I am thoroughly confused, something that doesn't happen oftent. Trisha's claim seemed to me at least viable especially after the information Fred shared about such a scenario. If it is helpful for someone later on then I am aligned with the town, in retrospect and after diagraming all this out, it may be more beneficial to setup a series of interlocking truths, i.e. Trisha says "Fred is lying", Fred says "Oscar is lying", the blasted hedgehog says "Daisy is lying" and so forth until we have an interlocking mesh and one lie detector should theoretically "clear" a bunch of people, but that will take more coordination in the future. Daisy has been her usual self, from my observations, always wanting in the know and being something of a bully. If she gets set on an opinion I can vouch that it's hard to get her to change course, so her stubborn refusal to believe the lie detector seems legitamate to me or at least less discrediting than this whole fiasco with Trisha. One thing I think we can all agree with is that this lie-detector thing is probably not a scum action, as I can't see it being very useful except in cases of working as a role-cop of sorts, this means she's either a scum lying about having said device and got caught up in all of excitement, or she's a very very confused and confusing townie. I for one would rather have things straightened out, we lynch her and we get a clear-cut answer, but I'm fine with waiting to hear her clarify her intentions a little more before hand.
  13. I agree with giving War Cry a damage dealing aspect. As far as Spellspin, Cinna was encouraged and was using an Amathyst, both of which are common enough so deducting those from her attack equals 407 which is still on the high side, however there was only 1 target left so that didn't exactly help it seem balanced. Perhaps using only 1 die rolled would keep it a little more manageable?
  14. Those wings are to die for, especially in that half-folded position. Any idea when you're going to be getting in another batch?
  15. Skrall nods at the arena officials as he walks back into the room. "I, Skrall (Waterbrick Down), would like to challenge Thothwick (Professor Flitwick), to a duel!"
  16. Skrall strides back into the hall. Glancing at the quest board he grimaces and signs his name under Quest 53: Chaos In Eubric. Noticing Thothwick's note he unpins the paper and replaces it with a piece of his own before making his way back to the arena. Things were going to get ugly and he'd best be prepared.
  17. Jimmy, if I hear you complaining again, I'll ensure you're on stable clean-out duty for the next six months. It is indeed depressing to see such beautiful beasts treated with such cruelty, but I am confident we will find the depraved individuals that did this.
  18. Walter here, I'll be making sure things remain respectable looking even through these tough times.
  19. I really like it Zepher, here are a few observations: The Chaotic Job traits have "order" listed as doing darkness elemental damage, is this correct? Pessimism and Chaotic strike are really good, however Rally and Optomism don't provide for very much strategy, though I'm not sure if they were meant to. I would feel better if their effects lasted until the end of the next round, giving the Party time to take advantage of them. This class is definately an early battle role, as their signature Shield skill ensures they won't be able to KO anyone and if you're dealing with enemies that are holding on with just a little health, a regular strike would actually be more effective. Now just to figure out a better name.
  20. The idea of a rule of thumb is that it provides a suggestion of somewhere to start and can then be adjusted and yes the length of the quest should be taken into account as well. I think we have seen quests where there have been too many of one type of drop and not enough of another which is why we are discussing this issue.
  21. I think a good rule of thumb for drops may be at least: #Party Members/2 weapons #Party Members/2 artifacts #Party Membersx(3/4 cost of upgrading the Party's average WP by 1) #Party Membersx(3-6) consumables.
  22. You're right Scuba, fixed. vs. a Beast/Vermin: Fragile x Encouraged x Hunter's Quiver (Favoring both vermin and beasts) x Fire x Ice x Wind = 2x2x9x2x4x2 = 576, if you include the Ratmancer's Cowl then it's 1152. vs. Vermin or Beast alone: Fragile x Encouraged x Hunter's Quiver (Favoring either vermin or beasts) x Fire or Wind x Ice = 2x2x3x2x2= 48, if you include the Ratmancer's Cowl then it's 96 (against vermin).
  23. I agree, Skrall generally has a very limitted amount of consumables on hand which is something I'd like to change, but he keeps on being given all these artifacts.
  24. Clarification vs. a Beast/Vermin: Fragile x Encouraged x Hunter's Quiver (Favoring both vermin and beasts) x Fire x Ice x Wind = 2x2x9x2x4x4 = 1152, if you include the hood then it's 2304. vs. Vermin or Beast alone: Fragile x Encouraged x Hunter's Quiver (Favoring either vermin or beasts) x Fire or Wind x Ice = 2x2x3x2x2= 48, if you include the hood then it's 96 (against vermin).
  25. Don't forget Lucky Dies.
