1. Quest 19: Skrall met Wren and hunting her down became his life's goal, even to the point of affecting his Advanced Job class decision. 2. Quest 53: Completion of Skrall's above goal though somewhat bitterly, left him in a state of emptiness afterwards. 3. Quest 31: Continuation of Skrall's hunting of Wren, short stint of RP with the Greatsword Leojagd and the death of Sir Lyonel. 4. Quest 6: Laid the foundation for how Skrall felt about Heroica Hall and the Wolfgang as well as establishing 2 of his 3 main friendships. 5. Quest 9: First quest Skrall served as a Party Leader established his feelings about leadership and keeping those under his charge safe. 6. Quest 40: Not too much development for Skrall, perhaps a bit on his viewpoints on slavery, but the quest was never completed.

So an enemy whose Special Damage strikes a hero 1 - # of times has each of their strikes reduced by the hero's SP?
-
It wouldn't stack. Sorry, I thought I read that she had tried to hex the Oculoid with her Special Mirror which wouldn't be possible.
-
Exactly, thus she also attempted to hex herself even though she was already hexed.
-
The way the special is worded the health halving could go either way, however by your current logic if her special mirror tries to hex the Oculoid Chief than it will also attempt to cut it's health. If you go the other way and Karie tries to cut a "random" player's health, she'll also have to try and hex a "random" player.

OoC: Skrall's aim should only do 24 damage since the Rock type cancels out Beast's vulnerability to fire. Skrall fired off another shot while motioning for Alexis to continue her attack. "We'll get 'em yet." Battle Order: Namyrra Hoke Skrall Alexis Stigveladi Nur -
However you QM'd quest 70, so your depiction of the Wolfgang might not line up with what Sandy has in mind.
-
You didn't say House vs. House and I'd constitute grave robbing as a crime against the general population. In the end I don't think this is all going to matter, what happens will happen and we'll eventually get to see the entire picture. Like Sandy has said, none of the factions are really the "good" guys or "bad" guys and I think the same could be said about the Wolfgang.
-
We could add Ji Pei (Quest 15 in a round about way) and Guild of Invision (Quest 74).
-
Sounds like a description of the houses, minus the witch part.

Don't forget, rule number 1 of role-playing, never trust the DM/GM/QM. Welcome back Kadabra and welcome to PPJB!

In that case, the rebels were the ones in the wrong though. I don't think we've seen any case in which the heroes don't end up on the side of the establishment when all the facts about the rebels and the establishment are not known.
-
I guess loyalty to one's employer's versus loyalty to ideals is a valid point.
-
Again, most of the time the "claims" exist that they (the rebels) have been doing "good" and that they stand for the "majority" of the inhabitants, however due to story limitations the heroes can never be absolutely sure that those claims are truthful and thus they err on sticking with the establishment even when they might be in the wrong. As a QM culture, we seem stuck in a rut of always claiming that the rebels are doing good but never showing them doing any good and thus we end up with situations like Quest 75 or the main story arc of Wolfgang vs. Houses.
-
It's interesting to note that in almost every single situation in which a rebel group has tried to overthrow the government and setup something new, heroes have almost always landed on the side of the established government in the end: Dastan, Council of the Blue Hand, Haddon, Duplova, and the 6 Houses. I think the only time the party has sided with the rebels is in Charis. Part of me wonders if it's all psychological in that none of the Heroes have ever had a chance to experience the "atrocities" committed by the currently ruling powers and thus never take the rebels seriously.
