Skrall's been through a lot, war in Haddon, battle of Dastan, final fight against Wren, it takes quite a bit to rile him up.

You're welcome, remember that ogres can get grumpy too though.

OoC: Weakening should prevent Alexis from taking as much damage this round from the free hit, which would blind anyone else besides Hoke. I'd rather have as few people possibly blinded as possible, I can take out each of the octopus in a single hit, but we've got to cover our bases as far as free hits are concerned. "Wait a second, we just need to keep the blimy calamari busy don't we. New plan Stigveladi, throw a bone at that octopus instead, would ya?" -
Unfortunately it doesn't.

Well this is certainly refreshing news after spending a few hours going through yesterdays and today's statements. If it turns out to be true, then we'll definitely be able to connect some of the pieces of this giant puzzle. For the record, I didn't receive any message from Laurence and looking at the numbers for 1/3 of us to receive the message (~1/2 if I don't include her suspects or myself) it's pretty likely that a scum was included in the mailing list. As other's have stated it looks like her anxiousness was probably caused by having a night action, which is disheartening considering that it sounded like Brittney might have as well, given her final pleas. Juliet, have I ever told you how your love for animals has awakened an animalistic love for you inside of me?

Skrall watched as the dwarf advanced on the octopus. "Stigveladi, this ain't no time for stupid heroics. You've got one of those magic scrolls don't ya? If ya weaken the squid, Alexis won't have to worry so much about it swingin' out and freely hittin' folks later on." -

"Somebody order the seafood platter?" Skrall smirked at his companions as he shouted over the roar of the monstrous throng. "Down to business. I'd recommend, if you've got smelling salts use 'em. Those with a decent amount of armor, now might be a good time for one of those Kraken Fangs." So saying, Skrall pulled a Fang from his satchel and consumed it. "Two of us need to keep the squidies busy, I'll take one, Alexis why don't you get the other. Hoke, yer on Messie duty. Stigveladi, see if you can weaken that lastoctopus. Namyrra, Nur, keep the sharks busy." Skrall loaded a bolt into his Hunter's Crossbow before taking aim at Krakenling A from the back row. Battle Order: Skrall Namyrra Stigveladi Hoke Alexis Nur -

Just going to say that this post is scummy to my gut, scum are always trying to keep on everyone's nice side to avoid suspicion and this really seems like pandering to me, however, it's balanced out by her continual insistence on the boring no-lynch strategy. In order to keep on everyone's nice side scum try not to go out on a limb or stick out too much with crazy ideas or things that would be considered against the norm, case in point the no lynch strategy, so I'm still up in the air with you Melanie. Brittney's most recent statement doesn't fill me with a lot of confidence as she's basically recapped her original statement and slapped a vote on. I'm going to vote: Brittany Alfredo (Piratedave84) Now can we have some more lovely songs, Alicia? -

"If things start turnin' sour we'll take the easy road. Let's press onward though and see what lies in store chaps. We're headin' east. Stigveladi, I'd recommend ya puttin' on this crown." Skrall tossed the crown over to Stigveladi before consuming a mead. -

Skrall turned away from the beast, "Sushi anyone?" The ogre tossed two of the fangs to Hoke, Alexis, Nur, and Stigveladi each, keeping one for himself and one for Namyrra. "Anybody partial to the crown? Nur, would ya mind patchin' Namyrra up before we start headin' east." -

Addressing your first point, I think we are all aware of this fact and your repeating it doesn't seem to be much of an obseravtion. I'm still trying to figure out your second point, what's the point of pointing out someone's behavior if you are going to dismiss it as something that either a scum or a townie could exhibit? Point three is also a restating of the obvious. Your 4th point is a valid opinion, but that's all, not much backing it up. You follow up with the inevitable "I'll be back later" comment... looks like a bunch of summarizing and no substance. -

As Paris mentioned, it pinged my scum-dar early on and unless you are making yourself the absolute standard of scum-dar efficiency, pings are what we go on and the more opinions on the matter the better. Now with Rosie's explanation of her comment, it's a little easier to understand in context. I'm with the crowd here, in that the lynch is the town's tool and aside from a vig, the only way we can win. While the night actions are useful, in the end it breeds a lazy town only dependent upon night action results and most of the time oblivious to the scum in front of their noses, either cleverly hiding or manipulating things from behind the scenes. -

Sounds good, thanks for being a level-headed game designer open to outside thoughts. So is it official that secondary characters are open at Level 40, or are we going to wait another 3 years.
