I like the use of those silly rubber band holders. I have held onto mine in hopes that I could use them at some point. That thing looks pretty mean. I like the short length of the vehicle. It gives it a look of an urban assault vehicle, able to go down the small roads of a town or city.

What?!? No smoke?!?! Wow,whee, wow, wow! That is one great build... not to mention your other stuff as well. I am totally diggin' the lighting. Great build, and welcome to the site. Can't wait to see what you come up with next.

I had to Google it to find out about it. It sounds interesting. I am going to have to check it out. Look at that, go to look at LEGOs on the internet, and get hooked into reading.

Wow, just wow. That is a lot of detail in a very small area. Very Roman looking.

The color scheme is a bit awkward with the large variety, but with the back story, of course she would have a ship that has many colors. Anyone who is a pirate hunter would probably have to repair their ship a lot, and would have a large variety of parts from different ships, and thus different colors. It has a bit of a mini-sub feel to it with the short frame and bubble top. It looks like it would be a very fast, maneuverable ship that could easily evade some of the larger ships. Good build. I can't wait to see the pirates she goes up against... not to mention Jen herself.

But, uh? I didn't know Brickington had a train station. I am going to have to do more homework. I think it fits in well with the rest of your designs. The last two pics on your description are the same. I am assuming the last pic was supposed to be of all of the pieces of the station. Thanks for sharing.

I really like the precarious rock formation that you have built. It fits in well with the theme. Great MOC. Thanks for sharing.

I want a ride. That is a great build. I like how you made the rails. I think it needs a loop.

It is like something out of Pan's Labyrinth. I like it.

I like it. Inter-theme story lines. It would make all of the Power Miners I have been buying worth while.

I would love to see this with a minifig next to it. It must be industrial sized. They would need a forklift or an elevator to get these out. Besides the fact that they are turkeys in minifig scale.

Thanks for the idea... or the IKEA idea. I am at that point now that I need some further organization. I have all of my pieces in similar sized tubs, with no dividers, so I have to dump out the whole box for one small piece.

Thanks for the list. It is clear you took a long time to make it. You have ruined any standing people had that said Lego does not produce many women

Nice truck. I am with the other guys. The back axles are a little far apart. I think a truck with axles that far apart would be REALLY hard to turn. As per usual, you surprise me with your great MOCs Eilif.

I love the color scheme to allow a theme to come about for all of the Post-office sets. Now you can add satellite post offices around the town, and maybe even one at the airport for the cute little airplane... or just add a tiny little airstrip out back of the big post office .

Okay, the Smart car is great. I even like the mail box in the back. I need to know how the delivery man is going to deliver those giant round packages. I think the Smart is a little too small.

Me like! That is a great design. I thought for a minute before opening the thread to decide how it might look. This looks great.

This set looks good, but I am sure it is going to break the bank. I think the minifigs are the best part of this set by far.

ONE SIDE! I SAID ONE SIDE! I need my new City sets and you must get out of my way!! HAHA! I can't wait. These sets look great. It is so fun to get more regular people sets for the City line. I am really looking forward to these the most this year.

Power Miners: New Sets for 2009

I agree with maegnus. The first wave was great, the next is a bit lacking. I think I will pick up the Crystal King as well, if not for the parts to make into a better king. I am wondering though... what is up with the miner that the Crystal King is holding? He has the miner clothes, but not helmet, just nicely combed hair. I guess he goes in the command rig, and the commander does not need a helmet? I have enjoyed the set so far, with fun building, some interesting playability, some different pieces in strange colors I did not have, and of course the ability to make what ever I want. -
I really like the forest. It is so nice and green.

I like the concept. The helmet looks quite a bit too small. It does not look like it could fit a minifig head inside. Thanks for sharing.

A sale is MUCH different than a clearance. They were put on sale, I am sure to drum up some interest in the line. I think people are a apprehensive about starting a new collection, and this is a good bump. TLC has a lot more in store for the Power Miners line. Some of the sets are on the expensive side, so I for one was glad to see them go on sale so I could get the big set. I think they are well made, and have some great functions and playability. If all else fails, their alternate builds show just how versitile the piece can be, turning a mining vehicle into a space ship of sorts. People need to give this set a shot. The characters are fun looking, and the sets build up real nice. Frankly I cannot wait to see what they come out with next. I still need to grab the little sets, but they tend to not be as good as the bigger sets in most lines.

I get gitty when I see there is an update to Brickington. The boathouse does not disappoint. The workshop is very well made. It looks funny with the big doors going out into the water, with the exception that it is several feet off the water. Do they just kick the boats off the edge? It seems that there should be a ramp that can be extended, or a crane of some sort. Your buildings are so solid and well designed. Really something to strive for. Thanks for sharing.

I am so ultra impressed with what people came up with. I think there are so many inventive people on this site, clearly with different visions, and too many LEGOs to know what to do with. Congrats to all for the great ideas.
