  1. Don't forget about the cute little helicopters too. There were so many good little planes and helicopters. It would probably not be too hard to replicate those older planes since they needed to actually be built with bricks. Changing color schemes could get you quite a collection. I have been thinking about adding an airport to my city, and was relying on the smaller Indiana Jones sets. I might have to do some research into the smaller old planes though. Thanks for the topic.
  2. It is going to be fun to see when an actual battle gets underway. I am looking forward to the CIS presence, but you did not leave them much room on their side of the battle. It looks like it is going to be a massacre (as if the CIS ever won anything).
  3. Thanks so far. It is as good as I was hoping it would be. I am wondering about your list on the first post. It said "animals" you listed two cows. There is a dog, cat, and rat from the looks of the box. Is there a reason you did not list the other animals?
  4. Nice build. I always thought this was a better design than the Falcon. It is much more realistic (not that SW is realistic) to have a central cockpit. The interior is well designed too. Good addition to your SW collection. Thanks for sharing.
  5. I am liking the overall design. It is very Galactica-ish. I am not too fond of the back of the engines. The front is a very nice design, but I don't like the gears as outputs. I was drawn to this post first by the name you used. I went to Humboldt State in northern California. :)
  6. Wow, just wow. This is a brilliant build. Just by looking at it, with the immense size and levels, that it would have had to go through a few revisions. Could you imagine being the opposing force and coming over the hill to stare at that monster looming on the horizon. Thanks for the back stories too. They are always fun to read.
  7. I am in the US (California), and mine came with a grey stach, so that is not the case. We will solve the case of the miscolored stach yet.
  8. I do really like the mosaic on the floor. So often, I think the interior of buildings are neglected, and none so much as the floor. I think I would try to match the upper floor to the bottom to really give a connection to the top and bottom floors. Of course the design would have to be a bit different since it is a smaller amount of floor space. It should also include the yellow as well.
  9. I like the furniture. It is hard to come up with good interior furnishings. I like the use of the two LEGO chairs together to make a couch. Good build. Lettering is nice too.
  10. Nice style on the Fastback part. Good tough looking car.
  11. I like the design. If I saw this without being told it was a Camaro, I don't know if I could have picked that out. I do however think it has the classic looks of the late 60's muscle cars. Good build. I would like to see it built. I know the cars turn out quite different when not in LDD.
  12. Great improvements. I really like the food storage. That is an excellent addition that makes it look less like a bar and more like a diner. pst *whisper* there is still no food prep area. A "diner" needs a grill or stove. :) I think your little diner is getting pretty tight on space.
  13. Thanks for the review. It was fun to watch the minifigs building the equipment. I would LOVE to have that truck. There are some great classic pieces there. The little truck looks just like the truck from the old coast guard set I am working on a review for that came out three years before the Shuttle set. It is so fun to see the classic sets and see the progression from year to year.
  14. You sure are trying to get this one right. It is going to be the shining light in your LEGO city. If I were you, I would build a few of them when you get it just right. Good job. I like the front end. It keeps getting better.
  15. Good character, and a nice surprise... a girl pilot. I like that your little ship has moving landing gear. Usually that is something that we see on bigger ships. Can't wait to see what you come up with next. :)
  16. Good design. You mentioned the feet, and I REALLY like them. It gives the mecha a really strong stance. That is a lot of firepower! Thanks for sharing.
  17. As a teacher, I have to say AWESOME!!! I bet kids would learn more if they learned from LEGOs. Thanks for the posts.
  18. That is really cool looking. It was fun to see the different segments merge into another, like the Death Star becoming a disco ball. Haha, you know that's what the Emperor was trying to do, make a big disco ball in the sky.
  19. Those are interesting pieces. The grey piece is WAY too wide for any general use.(It looks rather useless and large to keep) The red piece looks like it would be good for a trailer on a rig. (not that bad).
  20. Nice. This is a good version as opposed to the TLC version. Much more compact. Always wanting to see more. Thanks for posting.
  21. Nice collection Gladiator. Have you tried any of your own MOC with the large size, or are you more of a collector of the large scale?
  22. I can't wait to see what comes next. I have really enjoyed reading the stories. The vehicles are very well made, so well in fact that it is hard to tell what is LEGO and what is MOC. Thanks for the fun posts.
  23. Great story, and excellent figures. I really like the engine on the back of the speedboat. And as for the duck... fabulous. It would have been better than getting the Penguin's submarine.

Oh, my. That is a trophy for a construction lover like me. That would be a great piece of construction to own. Could you imagine the layout that would have to be built to hold that monster in a City?
  25. Very nice. I really like the balcony on the upper floor. It really helps the look of the mall. That would be a great addition to a city scheme. Thanks for sharing.
