  1. What fun. That is a great MOC. Good Job!!
  2. I love that Scarecrow is driving the harvester. I can just picture him talking about harvesting the residents of Gotham. The characters are great too.
  3. I was captivated by the roof first thing. That is beautifully designed. Makes me want to work harder...or break what I have.
  4. Nice design. As soon as I built mine, I wanted to change it. Unfortunately, the LEGO design is WAY too small. The shuttle is supposed to hold 30 troops, and be able to enter under the cockpit. I like that you were able to change the interior without changing the exterior. Nice build.
  5. Nice design. The best thing I think you can do with a SW ship is actually make working landing gear. So often the landing gear seems to be stuck on as an after thought. You did a great job building your ship with a nice tight design. It is interesting that you would think of using the round pieces to make the wings. I do not know of any Republic ships that are made in a circular design. That is more of a CIS design. Nice job though.
  6. I cannot wait to see how all of the pieces will go together with the frame. It will be interesting to see how you build the engines and such. There is no using wheels as engines on this project.
  7. The first thing I thought when I saw the bus was also about the doors. I think having the guy standing right there is a little disconcerting to the viewer. I know I would be afraid to stand there. I bet you will think of something. The design is really nice. I like the use of a hinge for the back window. Good color scheme too. Thanks for sharing.
  8. As a BIG fan of the construction sets, I have been wanting to make a detour sign like this. It is a great idea.
  9. I am wondering about different countries, and who actually plays board games. It seems that the countries chosen may be more likely to play board games. It seems that here in America, there is not as much desire to play board games, and thus is not going to available here. This is speculation however as I don't have any of that data. This seems like it would be a fairly large amount of pieces, causing it to be expensive...not to mention the new pieces. It does not seem cost effective to make this. Only time will tell I guess. I certainly would give it a shot. Could be fun.
  10. That is a great MOC. I really like all of the animals, and the fire is outstanding. Haha to the C3PO head. I think you should have given the head over the fireplace a red nose, and then it could be Rudolph.
  11. NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Now you gave me a reason to buy some castle sets. Great build. Can't wait to see what comes next.
  12. Nice. That is a good start. It is a good choice of color, varying it just enough to make it interesting and bring out design features. The legs look solid and tough, which I think is a major flaw in many spider type mechas. The cannon is pretty standard for a long cannon, but I really like the small top mounted gun. Overall this is a great model, and if I were to stand face to face with it, I would hope that the driver was on my side.
  13. Those look like Speed Racer wheels. I like the design. Big and tough, and oh so boxy like those silly American SUVs we have.
  14. I could not agree with you more Justin. It is tiring reading a post, and then have some player on there speaking how this is crap, or that is garbage, or how they hate everything. It is fine to have an opinion, and voice you opinion, but for goodness sake. We were talking about Batman, and then these guys come out and criticize SpongeBob? What they hey? Do you even own any SpongeBob? Clearly there are people like Justin on this site that do like our little friend from under the sea, and everyone should be more considerate. These last few replies were the straw on the camel's back so to speak, as I am a fan of the Power Miners, but there are a bunch of haters out there for that line too. Just be glad that LEGO is still making anything, and is not financially devastated right now. As for Batman, I just came back from the Dark Ages as the new Tumbler came out, and I was REALLY excited to see what else they were going to come up with. I sure hope it is on a break while we wait for the next movie or something to draw interest again. There were literally thousands of incarnations of the Batmobile that we did not get, and it would be fun to get a few more.
  15. The design is very solid. That is one quick looking little ship. It has a feel of a quick-hop, in-planet fighter. It is the kind of ships I like, basically a seat with two engines strapped to it.
  16. I am a collector of many types of toys. I love the action figures as well as Legos. If you don't open this stuff, you are not a toy collector, you are a box collector. It is made even worse with LEGOs. They are made to be played with. If you don't open the box, you will only be doing yourself a disservice. I open all of my boxes as quickly as I can.
  17. But what does it do? I love the design, and gotta know what the purpose of this thing is.
  18. I am a fan of the roads... sort of. I like having roads that are TLG sanctioned. I like that they fit most of the vehicles. The only real problem I have is the mix of plates in the "sets." What on earth am I going to do with so many intersections? I don't need them. What I do need is many more straight road pieces coming off of each intersection. In building a town or City, am I really going to be putting in that many curves? Probably not. As others have said, the sidewalks are a bit wide. Since there are so many sets now that include the sidewalk, shouldn't the roads reflect that?
  19. I guess they have to get their dynamite from somewhere.
  20. Wow. I used to be a fan of the TLC Mobile Command Unit. Yours makes theirs look like a boy scout troop outing. That is one nice truck. It looks like you updated just about everything that you possibly could. I would not want to be a criminal in your City. The pop-out sides are fantastic. My parents had a motorhome with sides that popped out and it really increased the room. I bet this thing would have to have it's own parking lot when it is opened all the way.
  21. FINALLY!!!! The other Power Miner people are coming out of the woodwork to show their creations. I caught up in this line after I bought one to give it a try. I look at the different vehicles and see so many possibilities. I like your design. It looks tough and ready to mine whatever the universe can throw at it.
  22. This is a nice build. It is short and stout like you would find in a mine. I am wondering what it does though?
  23. I am excited and sad at the same time. I am excited to see the evolution of the castle. I am a little sad to see this beautiful wood castle be changed. Thanks for the post. Can't wait to see what comes next.
  24. That is one nice bike. I am a fan of the sport bikes, and finally it gives something for the LEGO City bike cops to do.
  25. Great designs. I like the bike rack on the white car. I have been trying to figure out how to do one of those... besides trying to find a bike. The yellow car is nice, and the yellow transport truck is very well made. Of course, anything that is made of yellow right now makes me think of the mail vehicles. Thanks for sharing.
