I am loving the design. Have you tried for a pointy head like the "real" IG-88? If you moved the orange piece down one, and put a cone shape piece on top, that might give a better head look to the original. I did not know if that would be WAY too tall or not.

That is a great little ship. It looks like it would be in the maneuverability range of the A-Wing with the stubby wings. The way you made the cockpit open is a really nice touch. Thanks for sharing.

I don't think you need to make another tower lean. The layout is so nice and clean, that I think I wonder why one tower is leaning. I think it needs more ruins around, like broken pieces, or parts of the towers that have fallen. I think a tower that is leaning could not hold together. I would still love to see the interior too.

Review: Indiana Jones Classic - 7683 Fight on the Flying Wing
Loganwan replied to iotacode's topic in LEGO Licensed
I am a little surprised that nobody has talked about the rear landing gear. When the plane is picked up, the rear gear just dangles, and hangs low. It really cuts down on the playability IMO. I know the plane never takes off in the movie, but I did make mine take off. That said, I really like the look of the plane, and it is very well built. It is a strong design that does not feel as though it will break when it is picked up. It has seating for two, and even has a storage place for a box of goodies. Could you ask for more? I have not tried yet, but I am wondering if it could hold the treasure chest from Race for the Stolen Treasure 7622 as it supposed the be the Lost Ark. Thanks for the review Lotacode. The pics are great. -
Wow, that is quite a mast. It looks like it would hold up in any storm. I like the little story to go with it. They always make the MOCs more interesting and come to life. Very nice.

The lava is great. I really like the hillside. The vignette is simple and effective. Great Job!

It would be nice the get another motorcycle design, even if it is only the top. I have two from the IJ sets already, and I don't want everyone driving around my town with the same bike. What kind of gang would that be if they were all on the same ride? They would be laughed out of the club. No more Sturgis for these guys!

The Eurobricks Reviewers Academy
Loganwan replied to Bonaparte's topic in Forum Information and Help
I have some older sets from the 80s that I would love to get posted. I humbly request an audience with the great Bonaparte to be allowed access and a chance to post. Thanks! -
Personally I think this is a fantastic set. It is a bit over priced at TRU, but it is just the tip of a great farm set. I cannot wait to get the rest of the sets coming out. This is definitely the workhorse of the farm, and it does not disappoint. The only thing I don't like is having to take off the roof and one of the windows to get a figure in. Minor problem that I can live with. I am glad the farmer is happy. After a few of the past construction sets with working folk with foul looks on their faces, it is good to see a man that really wants to do his job.

Since I only had clear green, I was going to wait until I found some clear... but I could not wait to build one. I built two with the clear green bowls, and they look funky and fun. They really spice up my juice bar. I will have to get some pictures to post. So fun.

I bet that would be one slow, quiet race. It would be a super cute race though.

Great car. It's little size is fun. Your design actually looks a little more sporty than the original car, I am thinking due to the fat tires. Have you tried some of the old-school tires from the older sets that are tiny tiny? All of these micro cars seem to have extremely small tire diameters.

This is AWESOME! Such a nod to the classic line, but with a current theme. I love them! I have to make one or two, or a handful. :) They are sooooo cute!

The tap is great. Lots of variety of beverage for the bar's visitors. I really like the stools. I actually spent a lot of time last weekend trying to come up with a stool. As for the colors, the only thing that sticks out is the floor coming outside under the wall. Otherwise, I think the building is good. It would probably look even better if it were in context with other buildings.

I like the look of your building. For ruins, it actually looks too clean. It looks like ruins you would find at Disneyland. I think your towers should be crumbling. Whatever made that leaning tower fall, would probably effect the others as well.

Very nice. It is an amazing build. I am wondering if you are able to move it? It looks like just the weight alone would be monumental, not to mention the delicate nature if the mountain.

Church/Chapel MoC for Medievel Marketplace
Loganwan replied to brickzone's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Very nice indeed. I like the front of the chapel. The round studs are a very nice touch to give the chapel some definition. Great job making it fit in with the Marketplace. -
Power Miners: New Sets for 2009
Loganwan replied to cartoondude's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
That is exactly my idea too. I did not really care too much about PM, but then I started to see the neat pieces, and the great Rock Monsters, and I am hooked. -
It looks like when the top is down, the antenna will be sticking out straight in front of the vehicle as a sensor of some sort. I think these preliminary sets look really nice. If they are really this good, I will have to expand my city to include a space port.

I am glad this one got pumped so I could see it. I think this is LEGO building at its finest. The buildings are amazing, and the back stories are fun. It is hard to pick my favorite part, but I am going to go with the guy waving to the girl next door. That seems to be the epitome of what it means to be in Brickington. Down home, with just a taste of excitement.

Our buses don't have back windows. They have rear motors and air conditioner units back there, which is what it looks like sens1992 has done here too. I like the orange and white scheme. It looks like a coast guard transport.

What a fun build. It would look great in my park... if only I had one of those old motorcycles. For now I will have to go with the ice cream vendor from the Advent calendar, but this gives me something to look forward to. Thanks for posting it ricecracker, and thanks for sharing the pics with us rupi. It is always fun to see what new MOCs people are coming up with.

NICE! I like the use of the darker grey bricks. It gives the hot rod a bit of a harder edge look, and a yellow hot rod needs all the edge it can :)

I had sets growing up, and built with them all of the time. They were always around. When I got to my teen years, there was other stuff to take up my time. When I was in college I got into building model cars. I grabbed a few of the little Exo-Force sets and then I was hooked. Hundreds of dollars (thousands?) later I am again in the world of LEGO with no stop in sight.

Best: Agent Trace (The Lady Agent) Worse: Green Aliens from Mars Mission (They actually kept me from buying any sets. Hopefully the aliens in the new Space Police 3 will be better)
