  1. Alright, here's a look at that $20 set. Overall, this one is just okay. The minifigure choice is pretty good, though only one minifigure is exclusive. You get the cheapest way to get the new Hawkeye and Thor minifigures, and a new style of the Hydra goon. The builds are pretty weak though. The HYDRA vehicle is pretty bad and could have been better with a minor price increase, but I don't think it was really necessary to include another vehicle. The snow rig is decent, but the roof and the bottom area are a little too thin.
  2. I didn't think it was a Scooby Doo series... Why would we get a full wave of sets and a CMF series?
  3. Thanks tkatt! That whole scenario sounds funny, didn't notice that at the back of the box!
  4. And, here's the small set. Don't like this one very much. Alright, so, yeah this is something. Sure, it's the cheapest way to get the new bandana, but it's only $7 cheaper than the Treasure Island set. It's $13! Ridiculous. The blue coat is the same here as in the Treasure Island set, and the pirate isn't unique, the build is pretty weak unless you attach it to the Treasure Island build, and the play features are not unique at all.
  5. Rest in pieces, LEGO TMNT. I liked you. A lot.
  6. Here's the check list for everyone who asked: Click on it for a much bigger size.
  7. Alright, this Elves set is pretty friggin' cool. And it's $15! New moulds: Alright, so yeah, $15 for a bunch of lavender tree branches, the cheapest way to get a new key mould, new spikey elf hair, and six point flower bases? Count me in.
  8. Thanks for the feedback y'all! Yeah, I guess it's closer to 6248, but I like it better than both that and 6279. You put it perfectly, SpiderSpaceman.
  9. Alright, so I built the Treasure Island set from my Amazon order! This set is dope! I may actually like it better than the OG Skull Island, but we'll see once I get that set. I love the value here! There's some great play features and pieces. The female pirate is so awesome as well, I love her hair/hat combo, which is exclusive to this set.
  10. Thanks y'all for the feedback! It is a lovely set!
  11. Speaking of the Avengers Tower set... got mine from Amazon today... (bigger images here) This set is so fun to play with! But, I'll say this- the stickers are a pain to put on, and the piece count is pretty low for the $60 price point. Still, it feels like a Tower (unlike how the Malibu Mansion didn't feel like a mansion). The minifigures are also fantastic- MK1 Ultron is one of my favorites of the year, and the head print on the Iron Legion is a nice surprise.
  12. Muh Ama-zone order came today The vehicle itself is pretty bad. I'm sure it's accurate to the film, but as a display piece, it looks very clunky on the front and too thin on the back. The minifigures however all kick butt! There's three of the same minifigure (except one has a different helmet) and a new and exclusive Iron Man, all which look great for the $13 USD price point.
  13. I wouldn't expect any news for a while. Since the release is September, we'll MAYBE here about it at SDCC 2015, like the Tumbler from last year. But no earlier, in terms of official news. I mean, the Helicarrier was revealed a month before it's release, much like other D2C sets.
  14. Fantastic news!
  15. Oh yeah, that set is a GWP later this year. It was on that leaked calendar.
  16. I was basing it off of this pretty good response:
  17. Watch Emmet's sister be Emma from Friends.
  18. Well, the Research Institute was pretty small, only about 165 pieces and retailed for $20 USD.
  19. Funny thing is, WhiteFang probably has all the figures by now. His review for the last series started being written at the end of January...
  20. I saw The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water. I loved the first film ever since it came out, and, this one was... interesting. The 2D animation parts were really good, but the movie was weighed down with some very crappy live-action hybrid parts that were pretty bad in terms of writing. The climax battle was pretty good, though. I'd give it a 7/10. My favorite part...
  21. Woah, definitely interesting.
  22. We have a new polybag coming! Unfortunately, nothing too interesting, but still a nice remake of an older polybag.
  23. I'm not sure as it's a pretty cheap set. $20 sets usually aren't retail exclusives, but it is possible (considering the Hailfire Droid and the fact that Ultrasonic isn't even an exclusive). And, we don't always hear about retail exclusives in catalogs, but again, we have seen them there before.
  24. It seems like we'll get an X-Men set every two years. Next year is going to be a big year for the movies, as there's two films coming out for the universe, so I'd imagine LEGO would want to put out a comic set.
