LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 14 Rumors and Discussion
just2good replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Interesting choice, especially since we're getting a monsters theme this Summer... Scooby Doo. Because of that, not sure I'm a fan of this idea. -
These do sound great! A full sized museum would kick butt, but since it's the smallest number, it will probably be part of museum and about $13.

Dopeeeeeee Where did you find this?

I'm thinking either a calculator, or this sweet pencil accessory from the episode... or both!

Yeah, I remember that! Though, it was only one picture of that one minifigure until late March...

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion

Best post of the day. I don't know why. I wish! Heard it from one of my sources, who has been wrong before, but also right. -

A black-coated man in the helicarrier? -
Yeah, not sure. The site just showed the picture and said what who the figure was, check out the old link.

Lovely little detail!

D'aww, I'm flattered! Good point, misread there. But even then, LEGO doesn't really release official pictures at the Toy Fairs for every single set. I dunno, I'm iffy. They did show off the Milano last year with official pictures, and had a catalog of preliminaries that was only used for people touring the Toy Fair last year., though.

STRINGS http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lego-ULTRON-Sentry-Officer-Set-76029-2015-New-Minifigure-Marvel-Super-Heroes-/271732188344?pt=Building_Toys_US&hash=item3f448024b8 Better look at another early sale Ultron Sentry figure. -
I'm sorry to let you down, but I don't think this is what's gonna happen. LEGO doesn't officially release final pictures of widely retail sets until they're added to their site or shown at a press event. There's no events that take place in March and I doubt they'd add Summer sets to their site that early. I don't see why they'd have a planned release for official images. And, we already know all the set numbers for the Summer wave. I wouldn't see why they'd release a Teen Titans set for $20 or under as a retail exclusive (as no name showed up on the Summer 2015 sets lists). I just assumed the rumored ones will be thrown into the other sets, not their own. Unless... it's this set on 2ttoys, which is listed as a Marvel set in the title (the Hydra Fortress set number), but in the description, it lists set 76044. 76044 isn't taken by any set at the moment. I assumed this was an error, but who knows. 2ttoys has all the Summer 2015 sets listed on their site at the moment. just2cents of mine.

LEGO Ideas Discussion
just2good replied to The Real Indiana Jones's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Interesting! I'll post my thoughts. Avengers Helicarrier - Not gonna pass, LEGO has a D2C for this coming out in a month. Labyrinth Marble Maze - Amazing project, and it's a little like the Birds project where it's different from many other LEGO set's building styles, but I think that it will pass for the same reason as the Birds project did. F7A Hornet - Says it's based on an upcoming game. I don't think LEGO would want to do a set on a future property so early, just in case the property turns out that it won't fit their brand. The Goonies 30th Anniversary - The Inferno - It's possible. Goonies is an 80's classic PG film on the level of Ghostbusters and Back to the Future, and more tame than the first three Jurassic Park films, in my opinion. The Natural History Museum - Creator Expert - Not sure if LEGO wants to do a set of this size, judging by some past decisions. Lord of the Rings Set: Minas Tirith - Again, not sure LEGO will do a set of that size, plus they'll probably have to pay some fees to extend the contract for LEGO Middle Earth. Dunno. Jurassic Park - Possible, as it seems like LEGO doesn't have any Jurassic Park sets or D2C Jurassic Park sets planned for 2015. Only the Jurassic World stuff. Might be a nice set to have a fast release June 1st, kinda like Ghostbusters. Piano - I think this one will pass. Similar market appeal to the Birds/Exosuit crowd. Flying Dutchman - Too big and complex that LEGO will probably see this as a risky move to make. Don't think so. -
Dude, you gotta notify them yourself. You always tell people here to do stuff for you... do it yourself! And yeah, I can attest for the jumper damaging the legs. It leaves some chips and scratches. Thankfully I didn't use it on Supergirl.

I know, tell me about it. Especially that movie he was in, the LEGO Film or something? What an awful film...
-
THERE WILL BE ONE MORE SET ER, ONE MORE MINIFIGURE IN 2015 THIS IS IT. THE LAST MIDDLE EARTH MINIFIGURE. YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE WHO IT IS! And don't make a thread for 2015 Hobbit sets...
-
It's a demolition set, so we'll see it March 1st here, on LEGO S@H.

Tell me about it. That one should have been in- it was even in Brawl! Port Town Aero Drive blows.

They used to be, but that changed last year.

So, in this new 2015 promotional video, it opens with a diving boat: That has to be from one of the Summer 2015 sets... it even has stickers and a diving cage!

Yeah, I was expecting a few more too. But hey, maybe it's just a start into something big. It's a lot like the Ninjago 2014 lineup.

Three more Disney sets in Summer 2015: 10597 Mickey & Minnie Birthday Parade 10605 Doc McStuffins Rosie the Ambulance 10606 Doc McStuffins Backyard Clinic Doc McStuffins is an interesting property to have sets on! Shame it's Duplo, but it makes sense as the show is a Disney Jr. show.
