It really is a gem! I have the beach set too, I'll be building it and reviewing it soon... it's pretty darn cute! Yeah, I'm guessing the price is going to the suitcase. It's actually a pretty great organization unit, just wish it had a neutral color.

If you haven't been following the Juniors line up for this year, y'all really should. There's some more city based sets, and they look awesome. This one in particular is the Grocery Store Suitcase, and it really fits well with some City sets. Let's take a look! What an awesome set! It's only $20 USD, but you get SO MANY good pieces. If you're a sucker for LEGO food items, this has so many of them. There's some phenomenal prints in here- including an exclusive cereal box print, an awesome new face print, two new torso prints, the printed cat from the TLM CMFs/DO, and some printed signs. The build itself is probably one of the strongest from the Juniors line. It can fit in with LEGO City buildings, but it is a shame there's no walls on the side and no roof. Still, it looks good from the front.

Wowza, that looks awesome! I kinda wanna do that. -
I recommend you go through his main site, which he's linked to a few times on his LEGO one. From what I've gathered, he did a lot of RC toy reviews before LEGO, and has been a huge presence in the RC community since the early 2000s. You can compare some of his early non-LEGO videos on his other channels, and you can see he has learned as time progressed. He's a very hard working dude, and it really payed off.

Sir von Lego is very reliable- he provided us with our first (correct) info of the Age of Ultron sets, and some 2014 sets.

Congrats to Jang! He really deserves it, with his high production value and very formal presence.

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion

Yeah, honestly a lot of the mech builds in 2013/2014 were pretty boring to build, but the Hulk Buster and some other 2015 mechs are super fun builds. Such a nice set. -

Yeah, it's used with the jaw in the new Quinjet set. -

Alright, so here's a look at the new Hulk Buster set! Such a great set! I love the price on this sucker- it's only $30, but you get two exclusive minifigures, and it's the cheapest way to get the other two figures. The Hulk Buster itself is amazing- the build is detailed but it retains a size that it's a similar scale to the movie in comparison to Hulk. I just wish they would've included the Ultron "helmet" from the smallest set. -

I found this sucker at my LEGO Store today. It's a pencil holder, but gosh darn, I couldn't pass on it for $15. It reminds me a lot of the Classic Town houses I missed out on as a kid. I just saw that it was added to Brickset about a week ago, but the flood of new pictures made me unaware of the set.

The Chess set is only $60- a steal in my eyes... I haven't played chess in forever nor do I have enough room for it, so I skipped it for now.

I have a theory that LaFerrari was a last minute decision of a set to release. Look at its set number.
-
Thanks man! Yeah, picture reviews require a lotttt of time, but I'll see what I can do.
-
I think I'm done with this theme for sets I want, but we'll see by the end of the week if I get the Pit Stop. Again, thank y'all for the support!

Why are there less reviews than before on Eurobricks?
just2good replied to kinggregus's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I think the main killer of the picture review format was just the lack of support. Sure, we still see picture reviews every once in a while, but nowhere as much as there used to be (the point of the topic). As both a video and picture reviewer myself, I can totally agree that support is a major driving force for newly produced content. Video reviews can be monetized, but the platform of video reviews allows them to get to a bigger audience (they're on one of the most poular sites in the world- YouTube). Thus, I beieve it's easier to get support as a video reviewer on your videos than it is with picture reviews (which have a more limited audience). Which results in more people being inclined to do them. Both formats of reviews require effort. I'd love to see more picture reviews though- I prefer them over video reviews. I try my best to do both types when I'm reviewing a set that's new or that has limited pictures online. As majority of people in this thread are saying- please show support in other people's reviewing efforts if you want to see more. I honestly haven't been doing my part as I've been pretty busy with my own ventures, but I will try my best to show some more support. -
I love that!

Oh, how I wish I could do this... I think the two Ferrari ones are my favorites! Thanks for the feedback, LT! Alright, now this is the last of the $15 sets! The LEGO Ferrari 458 Italia GT is really smooth! I think it's one of the most accurate looking out of the $15 sets to the actual car it's based on. I also like the inclusion of the minifigure trophy in flat silver instead of a small build, because we've never had a set with that piece in that color.

It's funny because the Space Needle LEGO Architecture set requires you to cut a rod.

This is a nice looking interpretation of the P1! The only thing I don't like too much are the front stickers, but it's hard to actual make the front without new moulds.

"Hello, I'm a British person." i don't watch Top Gear. Just a joke post, don't take it too seriously. :P

The sets ARE out at Toys"R"Us! Here's a look at the Hydra Smash set, a Toys"R"Us exclusive. Alright, so, this set is pretty good. I love the minifigure selection. Baron and Quicksilver- the two exclusives- really stand out as some great minifigures. The fortress build has a great front, but the inside is REALLY lacking and makes the whole build a facade. While the tank has a decent play feature, it's a pretty awkward looking build. Not sure if this one is the best deal for $50 USD. -
Thanks y'all for the feedback! It's a shame they didn't include more flags, but the amount of flags they have is still satisfying. This set is great! I love the design of LaFerrari, it retains the sleek look of the actual vehicle, and uses some clever new techniques, especially with the front. I just really don't like the stickers for the front lights, as they don't look too much like lights due to the color...
