Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion
just2good replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
Well, it did have the Funhouse Escape 2012 set. Walmart had the Spidey 2012 set, and Target has the Braniac 2015 set. But, yeah, Toys"R"Us is very likely. -
Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion

If you're hoping that the LEGO sets will be as accurate as this, you're gonna have a bad time. Well, sorta. LEGO Super Heroes sets based on movies are usually based on early storyboards and ideas of big scenes in the films, but, I still like your theory. -
Did they have an ad for Series 5 and 6 in them?

We first heard that we were getting them in September 2013, from All About Bricks. -

The box for this one will probably have the logo found on the Winter Soldier promobag. -
This is correct. I remember reading an article somewhere about how majority of the deciders don't watch all of the animated movies, or any at all.

Dang, that was awesome! You never fail to impress me with your films! I love a lot of the little details especially, like the carrot being chopped or the burnt cake. NPUs for all of that. -
No, but I hope my source is right!

Holy cajoli, I forgot to mention this a while back! One of my very very reliable sources claims that we will see one other Pirates set in 2015... a Pirates Chess set! Very exciting news if you ask me!

Haven't seen that yet! LEGO really is pushing their MMO, ey?

I think this page is legit, but LEGO just was lazy and used that Ideas version to show the "illustration similair to final product". The confidential watermark is like all the other LEGO ones, which is hard to Photoshop in.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 13 Rumours and Discussion
just2good replied to just2good's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Did any of you see this? I was not expecting them to ever do commercials on minifigures, due to the time period they're on the market. -
Well, I was just talking about the DC sets, since this is the DC thread...
-
Of course we will, as we have two sets coming in the Summer that aren't movie related.

Good observation. I forgot about that. But, I think we may see a reveal at Brickfair Alabama. -
Nopers.

You gotta push really hard, but if you slide it in too hard it's gonna be damaged.

I'm 100% sure that it will be on the new show. I have my reasons: LEGO would have no reason to make sets now on the old show. If there was no new show, Character Building would have kept the license. I don't see why LEGO would make sets on the old show if the new show is coming out. Think about when LEGO made the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sets. LEGO wouldn't want to do stuff on the old show as, let's face it, the old show is not huge with modern day kids. I know there's no way to prove this, but it only airs on Boomerang and occasionally on Cartoon Network, I think. LEGO would want to tap into the new market brought by the new show. LEGO and Warner Bros. (who own Scooby Doo, and the new show is airing on the Warner-owned Cartoon Network) have a very close relationship now, after The LEGO Movie (a Warner Bros. film) was a success. Warner owns TT Games, who make all the LEGO games, LEGO airs all their current shows on Cartoon Network, ect. And, they'll definitely be regular minifigures. Simpsons was more complex in body structures and they were normal minifigures. Look at how Mr. Burns came out. Minifigures, in TLG's eyes, are popular with the 6-12 boys market that many of their licensed themes are aimed at. Now, I'm not saying they won't have moulded heads, as it's a huge possibility they will. Also, one thing I'm thinking is that LEGO will have a wide-release in North America, and a limited release in many foreign countries, as the show is pretty new. They did this with the Lone Ranger sets, but not really with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon sets (they did for the movie sets, I think). An interesting observation from all of this is that LEGO is doing sets on a new animated show each year that has not had LEGO sets before. 2013 had the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sets, 2014 had The Simpsons, and now 2015 has Scooby Doo.

This is correct. -
The (unofficial) ruling is that D2C sets cannot have new moulds unless that mould will appear later in the year that D2C set is released.

I was lucky enough to score Dragon Mountain at $25 USD the other day at Target!

The former source was from... well, yours truly. Not the Czech shop. The new source is the 2H 2015 release manifest from LEGO.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 14 Rumors and Discussion
just2good replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Good thinking on the first part, but then again, they didn't do that with the Simpsons Series 2. And, I've heard the MMO is not doing well up to expectations. Not sure if it will be around very long...
