Yes actually! When I got the Portal pack earlier in the year one of the build tags didn't work (I just overwrote the one whenever I had to to finish the level, and once I beat it the other one worked fine, so I dunno what was up with that), but now my Supergirl tag isn't working! She disappeared the first time I used her, so I turned my WiiU off and back on, and she still didn't appear, then a month later I was playing and tried her again, and still nothing!

I've never Black Friday shopped before, but I guess I'll be making an exception here. I really hope there'll be enough of him to go around...

Beautiful! I've always dreamed of doing the same thing (a giant Harry Potter layout of everything), but just don't have the time, space, or the bricks yet! I love how you've laid everything out, and your castle is amazing! I like how it isn't totally based on the films.

Cool, I'll have to keep an eye out (though at GameStop, as I'm in the US). I vaguely remember reading something about a Black Friday deal where if you buy a certain amount of Dimensions stuff there you get him or Supergirl. Can't remember where I read that though.

Wait, is Green Arrow part of a starter pack too? Is there some sort of promo for Green Arrow that the store got him? I thought he was only available at conventions so far. I really hope I can get my hands on him eventually. I know he doesn't offer anything too special (unlike Supergirl, who does have that Red Lantern access), but he's my favorite superhero.

I did restart the game, and she still didn't appear when I put her on. (I actually had a similar issue with the Portal Turret when I first used that, and it stopped after I completed the level.) However I didn't do very much after the restart, just stood around on Vorton, so maybe I'll try again later and actually play a level or something. Thanks for the advice!

I got my Supergirl this morning, downloaded the update, and started up the game. Everything was going fine, but then when I was exploring The Shard, Supergirl randomly disappeared in the game, and I couldn't get her to come back in, even though I moved her to other spots on the toy pad, and my other characters still work just fine. Does anybody know what might be causing this issue? She just completely randomly vanished from the game.

Does this mean that there will be a new Ghost to go with the new Phantom?

I hope a big chance! I'd love to get something the old line skipped. Maybe Luna in her school robes? Regardless of bonus or not, I'm definitely excited for this! The originals remain two of my all-time favorite games, and I can't wait to play through them yet again!

At least she'll be easier to get than Green Arrow. Hopefully she'll just be a polybag insert and enough people will be selling just that on the aftermarket.

Niffler's have the ability to sniff out and dig up treasure and shiny things, so maybe it's supposed to be attributed to that?

The Swooping Evil. That was my first thought when I saw the picture too. I really love that we're getting at least two beasts in the game!

Are those pieces used for the Niffler's feet and nose new? They look like the 1x2 with bar pieces, but one stud shorter, and with the end rounded.

If this doesn't happen sometime, I'll be eternally disappointed. I'm kind of surprised it hasn't already, to be honest.

I've been thinking something similar for a while (I think I've posted it before, so sorry if I have!), however I think the Ghostbusters HQ is a better comparison. The Ghostbusters theme got a small regular retail release of only two sets, and even then they weren't regular retail like a traditional LEGO wave: one was an Ideas set, and the other was a one-off. The theme did get several Dimensions sets, however, and Fantastic Beasts and Harry Potter are getting two of those each, if I'm remembering correctly, one of which is a Story Pack just like one of the new Ghostbusters packs. So based on that I'm hoping we might see a huge Hogwarts similar to the Ghostbusters HQ. Only time will tell though!

I personally also don't care about them being visually distinct, but I also won't argue that the companions are: almost all of them just wear basic Earth clothes, hence why I mentioned Rory, as his Roman outfit is something unique. The bigger problem with the companions, and Ron and Hermione too, are abilities. They're mostly all basic humans, and all the modern series ones are. Well, except for Rory, who is in fact a plastic Roman. Also, I'm not supporting Rory because he's my favorite. He's not, Amy is, but the only ability I can think of her having would be a disguise ability, thanks to her kissogram outfit, so I don't think she'd make a good NFC Minifigure either. I think that's more important reason the companions most likely won't get made: there's not much for them to do in-game aside from be there, and while I'd love to be able to just run around the various levels and worlds as one of them, I'll admit the general public might not be as interested in a character with a limited ability set, especially when said character costs a minimum of $11-$15. Hermione and Ron would be the same way: they'd basically just be duplicates of Harry. As a huge Doctor Who fan I admit I would buy a companion NFC Minifigure in a heartbeat, but if I step back and look at like LEGO would, it's just not the most business-conscious decision.

Well Donna and Bill are just Earth human girls, just like Rose, Amy, Martha, Sarah Jane, and I've only just started watching the classic series, so I'm not too familiar with those companions, but from what I know they're basically the same. There's also just Earth human boys, like Rory, Craig, and probably some in the classic series. (Like I said, only just started that.) Very few companions would be visually interesting just due to that fact, and other ones from the classic series would not be as recognizable to many fans. Not to say fans of the classic series wouldn't recognize them. Heck, I've only seen a few First Doctor episodes so far, but I recognize the second picture in your post, I just can't remember her name. The problem is that the most overall popular companions are the ones who are just standard humans wearing basic Earth clothes. The only one who I think would be recognizable by most fans, including those who have only watched the modern series, and also be visually distinct, would be Rory the Roman, and then you could just have him able to change into the other companions like how Peter Venkman and The Doctor can cycle through the others. He might even be able to bring some abilities to the table, and then the other companions would be fun extras. While I would also love to see a companion in LEGO Dimensions, the facts are that they wouldn't bring much to the game outside the novelty, and they're spot would be better taken up by somebody else who would.

I'm wondering if maybe after The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings themes didn't do as well as planned LEGO is going to play it safe and maybe wait until the second film to make sets? See how well the Dimensions sets and other merchandise does to determine if it's worth it.

Personally I'm really hoping trains will be added sometime soon.

Cool! Do we know how these are being given away at E3 yet? Are they just a giveaway of some sort, or are they something you can buy while you're there? I'm trying to gauge how rare they'll be if it turns out they're not showing up later down the line.
