Well it shows a gold build base, and neither Supergirl nor Green Arrow come with builds, so I'm going to guess that's why people are thinking phase two will have gold bases.

Even if we don't get a full wave of sets, I hope we might at least get a big Hogwarts set, like the Ghostbusters Headquarters. I know it's really unlikely, but I can hope.

I hope we get more fairground sets, even if they skip this year. I haven't bought the Mixer yet (I'm planning to get it in April with the Mr. Freeze polybag), but I'd really love to have a big fairground for my various Minifigures to come visit.

Fantastic Beasts 2018 - Speculation & Future Set Discussion
Legomaster34 replied to Ookami's topic in LEGO Licensed
It's going to be weird to be able to play as Harry and Hermione, but not Ron (if those two are true). I can't wait to see what the Minifigures look like! I feel like the most recent ones (from 2010/2011) were long enough ago that we should get some new ones with the Dimensions packs. -

I'm hoping that even if it is just Dimensions packs, we might also get a huge Hogwarts, like what happened recently with the Ghostbusters theme. That theme has three Dimensions packs this year, as well as the giant Firehouse Headquarters set out at the same time. (There's also the Ecto-1, but that's a more special case as it's an Ideas set.) -

I'm still extremely excited for those packs, but my heart feels just a bit heavier upon reading this... -
How many Minifigures do you own?
Legomaster34 replied to roboriguy's topic in General LEGO Discussion
According to Brickset I have 177, but those are just the ones I have in full sets. I don't have time to count all the ones I have loose. -
LEGO LotR - general discussion
Legomaster34 replied to General Magma's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Actually, the page is still up on Shop@Home. It only carries the Dimensions sets, but it's still there. And The Hobbit site is still there (though granted, that's all the way at the bottom of the products page, but it's still there!). As long as Dimensions is still using Lord of the Rings, I'll keep holding on to some small amount of hope for maybe just one last D2C. -
I know, but it's still set in the same universe, so the connection's there.

I'm still thinking it might be Harry Potter Years 1-7. With Fantastic Beasts coming in November, we might see sets based around that film, and I don't think they would want a repeat of The Hobbit game (where we never got the third film), so they'll probably hold off on a Fantastic Beasts game until all three films are released. It would be the perfect time to release a complete Harry Potter game to capitalize off the hype for the new film though.

LEGO LotR - general discussion
Legomaster34 replied to General Magma's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
It doesn't really sound like he's going to be sharing them (as much as I would love to see them), but more like he was just trying to further his point. -
Since we're starting to get set information for various themes' summer waves, I was wondering if anybody had heard anything about new Harry Potter sets? I was thinking if we were going to get them at all, we'd probably get a few in a summer wave before Fantastic Beasts in the fall, but I haven't seen anything. Sorry for posting in an older thread, but I thought asking here would be better than starting a new thread.

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
Legomaster34 replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I'm really excited for this new Turbo Tank. It's always been one of my favorite Star Wars vehicles, but I've sadly missed out on getting the set both times. Can't wait until some images surface! -
I tend to keep them, since I love looking at the artwork, and seeing the different box designs from the different themes all mixed together, but at the same time I'm not pressed for space, so it's a bit different for me.

I have no doubt I've said this before, but after seeing the teaser yesterday I really want Fantastic Beasts sets even more. I have a feeling I'll get my wish later next year, but until there's any actual rumors about it it's still just a dream license. I'd love nothing more than for Harry Potter to come back again too, but that seems less likely, if only just a bit.

I thought it was a fake more due to the Mask of Creation in the banner looking almost exactly like the photo-esque version in the main image, but I have my reservations about it being fake too. Why go through all the trouble to make the cloth piece look so convincing? That's a lot of detail worked into the piece just for a fake. Overall though I'll wait to get a bit more info before I get too excited.

Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 1 Discussion

I know the likelihood is almost zero, but I'd really, really love to see a Tron Minifigure. I doubt it would happen, but that would make me one happy camper!- 4,155 replies

What was your first lego set?
Legomaster34 replied to Chilly_Productions's topic in General LEGO Discussion
This was mine as well! Aside from some of the McDonald's promo sets that I think were released at about the same time, but I can't remember which of those was my first, so I just say my first set was this one. -
I'm going to go out on a limb here, but could "S" maybe mean Studios? If I remember correctly, there was a Steven Spielberg Minifigure in that theme, and we have potential references to at least two of his films, E.T. and Jaws ("You're going to need a bigger imagination.", a line from the trailers). Just throwing out a thought.
-
It's probably because the Dalek in the Dimensions set has to be able to be rebuilt into two other models for the game, whereas the one in the Ideas set does not.
-
I'd love it if the Harry Potter theme would come back! I always loved the older sets, but only ever got three, so I'd love a chance to add a few more to that collection. I've been thinking about the possibility of more sets for a little while, and I think if we're going to get more Harry Potter sets, it'll either be summer 2016, or summer, maybe late winter, 2017; either building up, or riding off the hype for Fantastic Beasts (which I have little doubt will be getting at least a handful of sets). If we don't get any new Harry Potter sets, I hope we could at least get a big direct to consumer Hogwarts, even if it were under the Fantastic Beasts banner.

Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion

Thanks for all this info, Nekchir! (And that thanks is for sharing in other themes too. ) I only have one question myself: is the set with Bucky, Iron Man, and Zemo priced higher or lower than the Spidey vs. Cap set? Again, thanks for all the information you're sharing! -
Interesting. I'm really liking the look of that logo, though I am going to echo other sentiments and say it looks more sci-fi than historic right now. I look forward to seeing what the sets will look like!

Wow, this is amazing! I love all the details (both big and small) that you've managed to work into it. They make it feel really alive!
