  1. vote tally Zerard Wolfe (Zepher): 4 votes (CorneliusMurdock, Cecilie, Pandora, Bob) Polly Altamont (Pandora): 1 vote (Zepher)
  2. The remaining passengers of the HMS Brutal can't help but put on a little play to pass the time. "You came in this hunk of junk?" Bess Bulton asks, "You're braver than I thought." Charles Pleasance rolls his eyes. "Beep boop bop beep beep," Cuthber Neal Memlow says, "I am a Star Wars! Beep boop boop." ____________________ There are 22.5 hours left in the day ... or something like that. My posts have been late the last two days. Sorry.
  3. Me. Not me. But I did do the most recent one. ZcerbOurangeOus
  4. Not to be a jerk, but he's a moderator and his word is law here, get it? Stop arguing with him. And yes, Fangy makes errors in his English, but he works hard on it every day. Did you learn English as a second language from Singlish? Look it up. Learning Western English after growing up speaking Singlish is counter-intuitive. Fangy is a rock star of English and striving to improve. Better than sitting around bitching that you got corrected. Do your best to post correctly and please respond with patience when our friendly moderators gently remind you to use correct posting habits. Otherwise, you have to hear from me and you don't want that.
  5. New pants every 24 hours? Sorry, I thought it was only expected every game day. I'll have to do something at the 48 hour mark. Anyway, a huge thank you to JimButcher and Fugazi for playing. I'm really glad you were a part of the game. Sorry to lose you both. JimB, it was hard to see your lynch considering the delayed voting and the extension from the site going down. It was a real nail-biter for me. Not literally, though. That's a bad habit. Anyway, I noticed you hadn't logged in and felt bad that the conviction happened during "Jane's nap". Foog, we've discussed a couple things already. I'll say more on our discussion after the game.
  6. "This is boring," Someone says. "I'm itching to place a vote!" Someone else says. "Should we tell jokes in the mean time?" Someone offers. "No jokes!" Charles Pleasance says. "Maybe we could put on a play." Someone else offers. "Please, Jesus, no plays!" Charles cries. "Someone should check the old man's pulse here," Clemence Blanchfield says. Cuthber Neal Memlow starts snoring... ____________________ Voting is now open. You have 48 hours to reach a conviction. The person with the most votes will be lynched. A cute little joke scene will be posted shortly.
  7. It would be "more than letting it go."
  8. Players only please! To everyone's horror and delight, the setting sun reveals that Jane Phoebe Barnell (JimButcher) is, in fact, Prince Nathaniel Kienan Colsh. Ooops... Everyone looks around silently, bum-puzzled and bewildered, some masking sheer glee. As night falls, King Finnerty D. Colsh goes for a midnight bike ride, handing out freshly baked muffins to the people he likes. Officer Bumble looks somewhat confused but likes muffins anyway. Officer Dumble decides to make a run for it. He's crunched some numbers and doesn't like the Royal Court's odds. He dons a parachute and heads for the side rail of the ship. What he doesn't notice is Kerkong, sneaking up behind him and grabbing the parachute right before he jumps. Officer Dumble looks for his rip-cord but can't find it. "But I'm not Royal Family!" Officer Dumble shouts as Kerkong and Eregor watch him fall to his death. Officer Dumble continues shouting as he falls. Kerkong and Eregor laugh as they can't believe what Officer Dumble tells them in his death shouts. "That's why they call him Dumble!" Kerkong laughs. "Hey!" The King shouts. Kerkong and Eregor freeze as they've been caught red-handed by the King himself! "You killed my wife so you get the burnt muffin!" The King scolds them. As the King bikes off, Kerkong turns to Eregor. "Does that mean something?" Kerkong asks, "Or is it just jokes?" Honk! Honk! Using the distraction of the funny jester, the King runs around and kicks Eregor in the butt. Just before morning Lord Hildebrand Weaselton confronts Lady Eleanor Quin Fry who is sneaking around the deck with her wand drawn. "No helping!" Lord Weaselton cries, "The spells were set in motion from the beginning and the magic is too strong to alter." In the morning, the crew is missing Faizon Garzi (Fugazi) (and his wiener) who was clearly the alter ego of Officer Dumble. Only six people remain and nobody seems to be able to pilot the ship. ____________________ Day Five has begun. You may not vote in the first 24 hours. Alter Egos Bess Bulton, assumed by Bob Charles Pleasance, assumed by CallMePieOrDie Clemence Blanchfield, assumed by Cecilie Cuthber Neal Memlow, assumed by Cornelius Murdock Polly Altamont, assumed by Pandora Zerard Wolfe, assumed by Zepher The Deceased Ruben Castleton, / Barag assumed by Rick, convicted on Day Two. Darberis Gibbon, / Queen Vivian Coulahan Colsh assumed by Dragonator, murdered on Night Two. 1/3 Meahon Doughal, / Lady Lotus Chen assumed by MetroiD, convicted on Day Three. Shanalon Dairne, / Lord Levi Gunnin assumed by Shadows, murdered on Night Three. Jane Phoebe Barnell, / Prince Nathaniel Kienan Colsh assumed by JimButcher, lynched on Day Four. 2/3 Fairon Garzi, / Officer Dumble assumed by Fugazi, murdered on Night Four. Role PM format: The Rules: Each player will be given a character to play, who will be aligned with either the Royal Court or the Kensmy Assassins. To win the game, the Royal Court must kill off all the Kensmy Assassins, while the Kensmy Assassins need only to kill the members of the Royal Family: King Finnerty D. Colsh, Queen Vivian Coulahan Colsh and Prince Nathaniel Kieanan Colsh. Any third party player will have win conditions that are detailed in their role PM... Each day you will be able to vote to lynch a player. Voting should be done in the following format; Vote: Character (Player). Similarly, unvoting is to be done in the format; Unvote: Character (Player). No other format will be accepted. You may also proxy your vote to another player, using this format; proxy: Character (Player). Naturally, unproxying a vote is also possible. The player with the most votes is lynched. In the case of a tie, there will be no lynch. A game day will last a maximum of 72 hours. You may not vote in the first 24 hours. The day will not end when a majority vote has been reached. If there is time left, a majority vote can be over-turned. After the day has concluded, a night stage will commence, which will last a maximum of 48 hours. Night actions must be sent to the host in the first 24 hours of the night stage, or they will not be accepted, no exceptions. The alignment of lynched players, as well as those that died during the night, will be revealed at the beginning of the next day. You may not quote or pretend to quote anything sent to you by the game host via PM. This includes all the details and pictures of your character and role, as well as any night action results. As such, claiming your alter ego is also a violation of this rule. Claiming to be a member of the Royal Family does not violate that as that is part of role-claiming. Saying you're the King, Queen or Prince is allowed. Saying you're Barag (or whatever alter ego) is not. Role claims and reporting of night action results are acceptable, but in your own words only. Do not attempt to use the structure of your role PM to your advantage. (Due to the concept role-claiming should be done with great caution. Another reason the roles have all been laid out is because verification by role-claiming is incredibly hard and extremely risky for the Town.) Do not play the game outside the thread. Similarly, do not post out of character inside the thread. Game tactics and roles may only be discussed in the game thread or via PM with other players. Private discussion is done at your own risk and should be treated as part of the game. If you are dead, you may not post in thread or discuss the game with any of the players. Any information you had becomes void, and may not be passed on. If you are converted, you must accept your new affiliation. If it's proven that you gave up your new team after conversion, the whole game will be null and you will most likely not to be asked to play one of my games again. You may not edit your posts. You must post in every day thread. If you encounter a problem or have a question, please contact the host via PM. Please please please use only the confirmation PM I sent you to communicate with me. All new conversations regarding the game will be deleted. Violation of the above rules will result in automatic death.
  9. I hope everybody enjoyed the break! Day 5 will go up in about 12 hours. Thanks to everybody for getting their Night Actions in.
  10. Thanks for playing, JimButcher! Sorry to lose you. I'll say more after your affiliation is revealed, but I'm very glad you played.
  11. It has been a somewhat tedious day and the passengers of the HMS Brutal haven't had much to work with. "Meh" Jane Phoebe Barnell says, "Should we lynch Polly? She's creepy when she stares. I think Shanalon said she was Scum." "Oh did he?" Charles Pleasance asks, "I guess that sounds good. I mean, it's something." "I'll lynch her, sure." Zerard Wolfe adds, "I agree it's something." Cuthber Neal Memlow ponders the day as he walks around in his breezy skirt and knee boots. He's pretty sure they belong to him, anyway... "So, I guess we'll kill Polly," Jane yawns as she stretches, "I need a nap. Wake me up if anything comes up." The day is nearly over and Charles Pleasance wakes Jane Phoebe Barnell up from her nap because something has come up. "Hey, wake up, we're going to lynch you instead," he tells her. "What? Why?" A bewildered Jane asks as she is thrust forward by her accusers. "Oh, we had a thorough discussion," someone tells her, "It makes perfect sense, trust us." And as the sun sets, it's Jane Phoebe Barnell (JimButcher) who stands on the silver plank. _____________________ Day Four is officially over. The game will take a brief intermission this weekend due to half of the players having travel plans, some unexpected. Please have your Night Actions in by Monday night and Day Five will be posted as soon as possible (most likely late Tuesday night/early Wednesday morning.)
  12. vote tally Polly Altamont (Pandora): 1 vote (JimButcher) Jane Phoebe Barnell (JimButcher): 7 votes (Pandora, Zepher, Cecilie, CallMePieOrDie, Bob, CorneliusMurdock, Fugazi) With 7 votes, Jane Phoebe Barnell (JimButcher) will be lynched. Day Four is now over. A day conclusion will be posted in about 12 hours. Please get your Night Actions in as soon as you can. However, due to travel, the game will take a brief intermission, with Day Five being posted on Tuesday.
  13. This game will actually take a break over the weekend since some players are at the EB event, you're leaving town and I have family visiting. So, we take a short intermission.
  14. vote tally Polly Altamont (Pandora): 3 votes (CallMePieOrDie, JimButcher, Bob) Jane Phoebe Barnell (JimButcher): 3 votes (Pandora, Zepher, Cecilie)
  15. Mod note: Day Four will end 24 hours from now to compensate for the downtime of the EB server.
  16. "Is everything alright?" Clemence Blanchfield asks. "I can't find my wiener." Fairon Garzi sadly admits. "Where's the last place you saw it?" Clemence asks. "Actually it was in Bess Bulton's mouth." Fairon smiles. "Maybe she ate it?" Clemence suggests. "I think I would've noticed that." Fairon says. ____________________ vote tally Polly Altamont (Pandora): 3 votes (CallMePieOrDie, Zepher, JimButcher) 36 hours remain in Day Four.
  17. Despite the Prequel Trilogy, Yoda didn't invert every sentence he spoke.
  18. It's about lunchtime and Cuthber Neal Memlow has found a pair of pants. He's not sure if they were the pants he was looking for, but they seem to fit OK. Charles Pleasance is fishing off the edge of the ship, while thinking that his time would be better spent playing the bagpipes. Polly Altamont and Jane Phoebe Barnell make a joke about his pole not being long enough and high five each other. ____________________ You may now vote. You have 60 hours to reach a conviction. At the end of that time, the person with the most votes will walk the silver plank.
  19. Stop asking questions! Just kidding. I was just saying what everyone else wanted to say. I'm sure if you thought about it for a bit you may come up with some strategies it could produce. At the same time, it also gives you the ability to make your vote count if you can't be online for whatever reason. But you can also make it appear you trust someone or dupe people into proxying you their votes, like when a false investigation double clears you as Town, but your Scum and you get a good portion of the asylum to proxy their megablocking votes to you, megablocks Draggy, punch you in the face.
  20. He was, but you pointed out the clever title of yesterday's thread, so I had to hit it over the head with a hammer.
  21. MetroiD and Shadows, my twit and my twat! My twat? Anyway, you guys are both priceless! Thanks for playing the game. I thoroughly enjoyed your participation and...well, you both know all the stuff you did. Thanks for making the game interesting.
  22. Players only please! Everybody cheers as Meahon Doughal's face is revealed to be that of a Kensmy Assassin! But... Lady Eleanor Quin Fry appears quickly and apologizes. "No no no," She shakes her head and taps her wand on the deck railing, "Sometimes the spells get a bit glitchy. Sorry about this! " Everyone is frozen in horror and bewilderment (and some joy) as Meahon Doughal is revealed to be Lady Lotus Chen. "But really," Lady Lotus Chen says as she falls, "Somebody's ... hand ... chaaaanged ... coooooloooooooooors!" "You are a God-damn twit!" Shanalon Dairne shouts as she watches Lady Lotus Chen disappear below the ship. Late at night, Little Red Riding Hood is looking rather sad and lost out in the moonlight. Office Dumble doesn't notice as he stares intently up at the heavens. King Finnerty D. Colsh rides up on his bicycle. "Are you lost, little girl?" He asks. "Yes," Red says, "I got lost on my way to Granny's and I'm being chased by a wolf." Lord Levi Gunnin comes by carrying a wooden cross and some flowers. "Are you lost, little girl?" He asks. "Yes," Red says, "I got lost on my freakin' way to Granny's and I'm being chased by a freakin' wolf! Why do I have to repeat my freakin' self?" "Come with us," The King says, "We'll help you find your Granny." Not too long after, Chief Grumble rescues the beautiful Little Green Swimming Fin from a nasty wolf shark...although that may just be some dream he's having. Not long before the morning, unable to find Granny, the three men lead Little Red Riding Hood safely back to the quarters to protect her from the threat of the wolf. "Come Red," King Finnerty D. Colsh says gently, "We'll get you a cookie and some milk before you go to sleep. Someone will guard your door tonight and we'll find your Granny in the morning." "OK," a teary-eyed red sniffles, "I do hope that Big Bad Wolf hasn't found Granny first!" As the men step out of sight, Eregor removes the mask. "Yipes, this mask is hot!" Eregor gasps as he gets some relief. "Come Red," one of the men says, "Your bedtime snack is ready." Eregor wipes the sweat out of his eyes and puts the mask back on. "Coming!" He says. And then, ... um ... In the morning, everyone is horrified and delighted to see Shanalon Dairne eviscerated and hung from the ship's cargo net. "Oh no!" Someone cries, "She was the bargiest!" "Actually," someone else says, "She was kind of a twat." "True," yet another someone chimes in, "but she was working hard for the barge. This is a very bad day for us!" "Are you kidding?" Another sand-green person replies, "This is a great day for us...oh, oops...I mean horrible. Terrible day. Bad." "Who said that?" "Not me. Somebody else." Lady Eleanor Quin Fry appears and reveals the true identity of Shanalon Dairne. "Unfortunately we have lost Lord Levi Gunnin," Lady Eleanor says sadly, "but don't lose hope! This is a setback, but not all is lost. Continue to work hard and you can defeat the evil among us." And with that she and the torso of Lord Levi Gunnin disappeared. As the HMS Brutal sails off into the day, Lord Hildebrand Weaselton laughs maniacally from the perch of the ship's figurehead... ____________________ Day Four has begun. 23. The day's conclusion has been posted. Day Four should be up in four hours. We'll see.
  24. vote tally Meahon Doughal (MetroiD): 7 votes (Fugazi, Shadows, Bob, CallMePieOrDie, Pandora, CorneliusMurdock, JimButcher) Polly Altamont (Pandora): 1 vote (MetroiD) Non-voters: 2 (Cecilie, Zepher) With 7 votes, Meahon Doughal has been convicted. He will now walk the silver plank. Meahon Doughal is excited that he got his final wish to be spanked by Bess Bulton. "All right, that's enough!" Shanalon Dairne says. "Put some pants on, Scumbag!" Fairon Garzi, Meahon's accuser, scoffs as he pushes him onto the silver plank. "Onto the plank, Scummy-Scumbo." Shanalon Dairne laughs, "At long last, we'll get proof that he's a Scummy liar. We're so smart. We're like steamship scientists!" Zerard Wolfe plays a solemn song on the bagpipes as the rest of the passengers wait for the sun to set to see Maihon Doughal's true identity. In a flourish, Meahon removes his helmet and adorns a beautiful robe to show that he'd been thinking about fashion sense throughout the ordeal. His beard and eyebrows are meticulously combed and his natural pink hair glimmers a beautiful grapefruit color in the setting sun. He may be dying, but he's glad he looks good.
  25. Thanks guys! If you like this game, you should read through IMHOTEP. It's frighteningly close in concept. I didn't intend to copy it, but this is kind of IMHOTEP light. I based it off of another game but made some adjustments which turned it into the imitation of IMHOTEP that it is, which I don't mind. I loved playing IMHOTEP and I hope the players are enjoying this even half as much as I did with IMHOTEP. I'm very glad you guys are enjoying it too!
