  1. I noticed it. That's why I asked if he meant the Beckett play? What, no Beckett fans here? Yes, the capitalization of Endgame is in his ststement is very odd. Ststesments are cool...
  2. Agreed. This game is enough to make me puke. Walter, you're very well spoken. So was the guy who rallied the Town in EB I. The Town trusted him -due to a framed investigation- and that was our demise. By the end he was talking like the Towniest Town. It's enough WIFOM to split one's brain. We've been lynching people because if Scum tells. Maybe we need to look at the ones who people are trusted. I don't know. I feel like we need a successful lunch and you're right, what we've been doing isn't working. Chromeknight, I'm still waiting for an answer: you haven't talked to anyone by PM?
  3. You say it yourself: Writing plays and bringing Night Actions results to the day thread is a great way to confirm the Scum teams to each other. Going with my normal tactics of revealing everything that happens behind the scenes would lose the game for us.
  4. Do you? You've done no talking behind the scenes?
  5. I think many can say that you appeared solidly Town on Day One. I'm sure the Scum saw that too. That makes you prime candidate for a conversion.
  6. OK, we can't risk another quiet day. It got us nowhere yesterday and we're giving too many people places to hide. Let's look at some suspects: Li'l Chromie, fluffiest of fluffers: A vote late in the day, off of the bandwagon is a great way to appear Townie. You vote for Scouty pretty early on Day One, but the other two days, you wait until late. It's a very safe place for Scum to vote. When you're stuck in the Scum mindset, you feel safe there. You attempt to mayor yourself despite not ever really being active. You are flying way under the radar. We have been lynching quieter players, but not the quietest players. You seem to have been pretty safe popping in occasionally to boing around and never really giving us anything substantial as far as suspicions go. You vote late and don't make any ripples, yet you wanted the position of Mayor. Hooray for bandwagons! Great reason to vote. Li'l Boy: Yeah? It's the second day in a row you've done it: And are you referring to the Beckett play? Two days in a row, you seem to be signaling to another Scum team. All the hard work you're referring to is just flinging out two lame accusations. Perhaps someone should look into Peanuts. Well, have you? Li'l Wally This accusation is a little bit of a stretch, I admit. As happy as I am to see you back in the game, Li'l Wally, I have to wonder if our tactics aren't off in this and should we be looking at someone who is under the radar by seeming trustworthy. Nobody has suspected you thus far. Is that because you are playing the balance so well that you're avoiding suspicion? Perhaps while the Town try to appear Scummy, the Scum are sliding by seeming truly Townie with all the flailing Town attempting Scum-tells. If I'm right, we've only seen a couple tiny slip-ups. Here, you say that you think Dave is the least Scummy but then vote for him anyway. It's just to get him to talk, even though you had two other people who pinged your Scumdar more. The more disturbing potential slip-up is this. Encouraging people to speak up more behind the scenes, even if they are contacting Scum. And I think you are being active behind the scenes and I do think you've been talking to quite a few people. That makes you very dangerous. Have you been on our side all this time Li'l Wally?
  7. Mayor: CallMePie. Sorry Zepher. The cases are "get discussion going" and "I'm willing to die to protect the role". If I've put it in the wrong hands, sorry. We're not going to win this by sitting back and I have a gut feeling that Pie is the better choice here.
  8. I'm sure you'll pull your socks right over your head. Looking forward to it.
  9. That was my first instinct as well. However, now it's more important to not have Scum in that role, but the position is a death sentence. Confounding. This is most you've said all game and it sounds like you're raising a beacon.
  10. Another dead mayor. How do we fill this position if everyone who gets it gets killed? And is the new Town-tell to give up? Let's vote for people until we get a reaction. Then we'll know we've caught Scum.
  11. Did everyone fall asleep? Probably. It's been a very active day in here. Wait...no it hasn't. I hope the slow and somewhat sporadic voting means we're on to something.
  12. You specifically said it was something Chromeknight said that you thought Cecilie said that would've made her seem more suspicious. Now you are saying it was what Cecilie herself said. Well, which is it?
  13. Vote: Li'l Palathadric (Palathadric) Well, I could load the page and here are the two quotes from Li'l Chrome about the issue revolving around the role PM: So, these two quotes, even if spoken by Cecilie, unlikely since one addresses her, don't seem to incriminate her any more or less. Sorry, I don't believe your answer. I think you dropped some hasty suspicions to appear active and avoid suspicion yourself. I'm lost on the interjection "assuming it isn't their own." Can you elaborate on your statement there? This day is disturbingly quiet. Suddenly, we're bandwagon-shy? Maybe we're finally onto something. It seems this game is being played very heavily right now in the playground, lunchroom, bathroom, gymnasium and personal messenger.
  14. Wow! I love this crossover. Very successful and definitely nostalgic with all of hanging out in there. It's a very clever build, Quarry. I love the interior of the saloon and like Cecilie, you've found a great way to use the FABULAND shutter piece! Great work.
  15. Soon? Haven't you noticed someone is here killing children. What kind of school is this? Where are the police? Oh, right. Mafia School. You were sure Scouty was Scum? If you were surprised Cornelius hadn't been converted, what were you doing to keep an eye on him for changes from the time of his inauguration? If it wasn't Cecilie, who was it and why aren't you accusing that person? It's a joke. It's serious. It's a floor wax. It's a dessert topping. Whoa whoa whoa. You've just done again exactly what Peanuts has said you did. Accuse with no substance, except this time it has the hyperbole of absolutely and positively. So, I think we could use your help with some evidence to back that up. Have any?
  16. They are pings, not blips. How do you suggest we use his efforts? I'm not sure what his efforts were except saying we needed to wait for the Masons to figure things out and pre-empting Scouty's ability to attempt to decoy the Scum. Any specific ideas? What is it about her that "blips" you? It's hard to agree or disagree with just your instincts. I disagree. I don't think I've dismissed anything, but perhaps you can show me a couple things that are causing you concern. I seem to remember being accused for being combative and aggressive in the last two games I played and I was Town in both. As long as we're looking at each other, you have actually not been pinging my Scumdar. I agree with you here. We've seen him accused on both days and I've never been satisfied by what he has said.
  17. We have to think outside the box for this concept. Anyone leading from out in front runs the huge risk of turning all the Town info over to the Scum if they're converted. We can't even keep a "leader" protected from conversion at all times because the rules state we can't target the same person two nights in a row. My "Town leader" tactics from other games don't work in this concept. The Town block in EB I got so comfortable and open with their results that the Watcher came out and accused the Scum killer in public on the last day and that's what verified the recruiters to the killers and won the game for the Scum. Anything the Town learns needs to be handled more delicately than in other games. How should the Town act, Li'l Kiel? I have some theories, but I won't reveal them in public and give away potential strategies that could win the game for us. Townies should be active and not worry about accusations against them and "how to behave". Townies should not focus on the fact that people are finding them Scummy and see what it is in people's reactions, or lack thereof, that can lead them to theories and suspicions that find the Scum. I can think of other things active Townies can do in this concept, but anyone who sits down for a couple minutes and thinks of what the Scum are ultimately trying to accomplish should be able to come up with some creative tactics as well.
  18. I said it was mean to give it to the person who had just said they didn't want it. After voting for Li'l Cec on Day One, she did not protest and I still see her as someone who is actually using her brain. Does it still seem odd to you? As the game continues, it becomes more and more likely to be a big deal. We got the first two lynches wrong and many people were suspicious of Foog, who turned up Town as well. The first two days were slow, steady bandwagons. If Li'l Wally is right and working behind the scenes will bring us better results and people have to be careful about how they propose theories and make accusations, a tie becomes more possible. Do you want someone who disappeared after asking to be a leader of a Town block to be the person to break that tie?
  19. I know mayor may not even be a big deal, but what has he done since the first third of Day One to retain your confidence?
  20. Li'l Kiel, I'm not a fan of this silly mayor business but I don't want you as mayor. You campaigned for it on Day One saying you wanted to lead a Town block and them you disappeared for two days. Not the best vote of confidence. I still feel Li'l Cecilie is making smart posts and I tend to agree with what she is saying. I feel she'd make a fair choice if a tie happens to occur. mayor: Li'l Cecilie
  21. Did you attempt to vote for yourself? There are two problems with your format. That's also not great mental capacity for a mayor. I suppose there might be a couple people I could consider trusting if it came down to a tie vote. It's so hard to figure out what to reveal with this concept though. Pointing out a trustworthy Townie is either a death sentence or an invitation to conversion. This new concept is fun but can certainly be mentally exhausting at times.
