  1. Have you heard the concept of the game you're currently playing? There is one Scum team split into two sub-teams. They can't win unless they connect.
  2. See? I knew you could confuse your Scum role just as well as you did your Town role. That's all meant in good fun. I'm not trying to be a dick to you.
  3. That's the hardest part for me to understand. Mr. def posting the PMs has seemed to confuse him more.
  4. Der. How did I miss that? Well, stickle me any time baby. So, actual PM structure aside, we have three people pounce on Cecilie when Li'l Zeph makes a stretch of an accusation based on her asking for clarification of something he admits to wording wrong. All three of them choose Li'l Cec, even though the main accusation from Li'l Zeph is aimed at Li'l Trump. That's a li'l weird... Nobody is asking you about the structure of the role PM. I'm asking why you chose to focus on Cecilie when Li'l Zeph was accusing her and Li'l Trump.
  5. Hey Tickler, can you point out to me where? I know Li'l Pie and Li'l Trump did, but I don't see Li'l Chrome saying the same thing.
  6. Why would the vig kill Zeph? This is the weirdest statement of all. Of course Zeph wouldn't be converted if the vig killed him. He'd be dead. So I guess he might be converted but it wouldn't really matter. But would the conversion take place and then we see a dead Scum tomorrow? I don't understand your point there, anyway. And why would you continue to accuse Li'l Zeph when he was the one you were agreeing with about Li'l Cec just before that? You go back to accusing Li'l Zeph before Li'l Cec even answers to the question that you say makes her seem pretty Scummy. It seems like you were happy to accuse anyone who wasn't on your team. If you turn up Scum, I'm betting Zepher and Cecilie are Town...or at least not on your Scum team. This concept can be a bit confounding... I can't even wrap my mind around the points you are trying to make, so either you are horrible at wording your intentions or you're Scum flailing. Who had the lie detector cookies in Heartlake? Was that you? I never said you did say anything about your role PM. Zepher accused you and Cecilie of the same thing and you ignored what he asked you and instead turned it all on Li'l Cec. As stated above, you then dropped it for no apparent reason and went back to accusing the person you had just been agreeing with.
  7. I threw Li'l Pie's response in there too for good measure. You do say an "OK" lead and that it makes her seem "pretty Scummy". On Day One, OK lead and pretty Scummy are usually pretty good suspicions to follow. So, if Li'l Zeph's accusation reads the same to both of you, why is it an OK lead and pretty Scummy for Li'l Cec, but not for Li'l you?
  8. There was no joke in the second one, but like I said, not a strong point. The mayor actually is much safer this time because the Scum will probably not want to target him since he is much more likely to be watched/protected/recruitment blocked, etc. I agree that Li'l Corn is safe from being killed this time around and don't think we should lynch him tomorrow if he survives. His statement included something about opening a can of whoop megablocks for the Scum if they target him. Maybe this is WIFOM on Li'l Corn's part and something for us to bear in mind, but since you think the Scum weren't likely to put themselves up as mayor, why are his words suspicious to you? I never said I knew for sure. EB I Town had one, most EB games have one. Even when it's called a tracker, they have one. If you read what Zepher says, he makes kind of a stretch in logic to accuse you and Cecilie of not having the same one. While the actual wording of the PMs shouldn't be discussed, it should be made clear that Li'l Zeph was over-reaching a bit to make an accusation based on his poor memory of what something said: Mr. def, please note that my analysis will not go into PM structure. Just want to make sure I don't get penalty votes for pointing out a secondary point to the original PM issue. What Zepher does here, regardless of the rule it is skirting, is base an accusation on his false memory of the actual wording. It's a stretch and a very weak accusation no matter what the role PM says. What I find interesting is that the accusation is directed at you, and secondarily at Cecilie, and you note how suspicious it makes Cecilie look and so does Li'l Pie. Ping. It looks like you are trying to take the suspicion off of you and re-direct it on Li'l Cec. It's just too much, I suppose. Why did it need "just in case" at all. It's hard to explain it words. It's just a gut feelingTM. One of the basic role PMs def posted is more Townie than the other one? I'm confident where my vote is. Sorry.
  9. Something's really not right here... You think he's Town, but he's being inconsistent. Wh......I'm really lost now. If he's Town, what would the inconsistencies mean then? And the inconsistency (I'm tired of typing that word) you're referring to doesn't seem to exist. Can you point out where Li'l Zeph said he had a vanilla PM, and then said he had a PR PM? I don't remember that happening and I just re-read the entire day thread. Oh derp. It says "unvote". That makes much more sense. I thought you were saying you thought he was Town and voting for him. My mistake. Sorry.
  10. Small and subjective point: you're excuses for not being around seemed odd to me. Nobody's asking where you were, yet you pre-defend yourself for not being around. I think Scum think small things can give them away, like long absences. Everything is somewhat magnified when you're in the informed minority. This isn't strong evidence, but with the rest of the the points made against you, can show that you are stuck in a Scum mindset. But when we are trying to find Scum, we may choose to lynch a Townie. If the mayor is Town they may choose to lynch a Townie over a Scum, just reading the two players wrong. And how do we know they chose a Townie over a Scum, unless we're Scum? There are many ways a tie could be broken by the Mayor and a Townie ends up getting lynched. Your analysis seems lacking from a Town mindset. Townies lynch other Townies a lot in these games. If Li'l Corn breaks a tie and the lynchee is Town, we shouldn't just turn on him and assume that means he's Scum...unless you just want to see a Townie lynched yourself. I thought way down the road with that one, but that's how a Townie should look at that situation. Your analysis seems too quick to assume that the mayor lynching a Townie would mean he is a Scumbag himself. Here was your answer to my question. I still don't see how your feeling can be described as "more evidence". Perhaps that is just semantics. Yet, you do an odd little thing where you say it's suspicious that he says he knows he won't die, but you don't pursue it any further after that. Do you still find this suspicious? But, if he's set himself up for "easy recruitment" why take away the Town's opportunity to have him watched and find out who would be trying to recruit? How nice would that be for the Watcher to have such a strong lead to pursue through the rest of the game. It could even lead to Town totally infiltrating and duping the recruiting team. Wanting to lynch someone you believe to be Town is just weird. I must've missed this, but how was this a good lead on Li'l Cec? I remember feeling a little "ping" when I first read "just in case" twice in your statement. That's another small point, but it did stand out to me. But, I think he went from a somewhat weird and Scummy claim to a much more Townie sounding claim and find it odd that you see it as the opposite. In this setup, Townies may be feigning Scum-tells to stop the two sides of the Scum team from uniting. The Scum-tell of Li'l Trump seems more like a Scum mindset. If he was a Townie, I doubt he would choose such a "Scum tell" to feign. It's rather elaborate. Maybe he's just a flailing Townie trying a bit too hard, but for Day One, he's done enough to get my vote. Vote: Li'l Trumpetking (Trumpetking) Any reason why you don't vote for Li'L Boy if you think he's a good candidate?
  11. The lie detector can take one person's statement to the host and find out if it is true or not. If every player says "I am aligned with the Town" the lie detector is free to choose any player to find out if they are lying or not, therefore if they are Scum or not. So when I say you haven't made a statement the lie detector can test, I'm asking you to post "I am aligned with the Town" please. As should everyone so the lie detector, assuming there is one, can do an effective job with their role.
  12. Great strategy. Might want to stick with it next time instead of giving up on it the second you're asked about it. Did I miss where you made a potential statement for the lie detector to test?
  13. You posted this after I started replying. What does it mean? Are you making fun of the lie detector or going along with it now? I can't tell...
  14. Li'l Kiel, self-martyrdom is so passe. Really, it's not about you, dude, it's about what the Town can really work with right now. Personally, I appreciate that you're a strong player and if you are being honest, want to help and lead. I'm just saying I don't think you have a solid plan to help the Town yet. Don't take our analysis of what you're saying personally. I'm not saying you aren't an honest person, I'm saying this game is about lying to people and we have no reason to take anyone at face value. And in this concept, you may be 100% honest with us today and wake up a converted Scum tomorrow. Not to mention the lie detector is very real and was employed in the last game, although Dannylonglegs was killed before he could use it. But, if used properly, it will give us a one-shot investigation and behavior to analyze. So, our time is better spent right now getting everyone to participate for the lie detector and analyzing how people respond to that than arguing over the importance of your proclamation of honesty. So, please move on.
  15. Think about this for one second, in all of your honesty: what good is the position of a proven leader in a game where six of us can be converted? Unless you're the Mason Recruiter him/herself, we have no indication right now if you would be convertable or not. Even if this wasn't a game with a different concept and a massive amount of possible recruitments, your self-proclaimed honesty is only words to us. You're being honest about being a Townie? Great, so am I! Let's ask everyone if they're honestly Townies or not and then we can just breeze through this game. Wasn't there a lie detector in the last game that never got to be used? I am aligned with the Town. There. Just in case. Sorry, back to Li'l Kiel: The way I see it, we have no reason to trust you and if we did, we wouldn't want to parade you around as our most trusted leader as the Scum would then try to convert or kill you. Although, it'd be hilarious if they both targeted the same person on the same night. I love this concept. It hurts my brain. Either way, proclaiming how honest you are is just silly, in my opinion.
  16. That's what took a bit of getting used to with the concept the first time around. The Town can play very differently with two Scum teams out there who don't know each other yet need to unite. So a lot of the Scum tells we're used to reading may be feigned by Townies trying to infiltrate or make it harder for the Scum to unite. Fraulein Bloodbrick, Scum team wins by forcing a tie and being the first to vote. This is a squirrely answer. How do you learn more about someone when they're mayor? The role itself, once given, never seemed to really play much into the game at all the first time around. What would you be expecting to have learned from Li'l Kiel and therefore what can we now learn from Li'l Corn now that he's in office? Even if Li'l Kiel or Li'l Corn can "prove" themselves over the first couple days, let's not forget how dangerous a Town block can be in a situation where there are a higher number of possible conversions than most games. I doesn't look to me like anybody "pounced" on you. It looks like people were asking for clarification about something you said which you've admitted you were mistaken about.
  17. Evidence? Volunteering for mayor is the evidence you are referring to? I don't follow that logic, at least not the wording of it. If every player now volunteered to be mayor, how would you gather your "evidence" to trust someone then? Very good point. I know there is not much time left to vote for mayor and Li'l Corn may already have the majority, but due to her behavior analysis I feel more comfortable in voting for Cecilie. vote: Cecilie Exactly right. In fact, the mayor role never came to any use in the first game. However, since the first two mayors elected were swiftly killed, the third mayor was elected with only one vote as nobody even wanted to think about the matter. Even seeing that the mayor never broke a tie in EB I, we're still placing a lot of importance on the subject. That's just our nature, I guess, but it does give us behavior to analyze. Like this: Insisting on being a leader makes you trust him more? I think someone pressing to be a leader and hinting at forming a Town block this early should be under more scrutiny. Would you follow Li'l Kiel just because of this persistence? Li'l Corn was pretty persistent too. He got up on a soap box wrapped in an American flag and made a speech. That seems more insistent to me. Why not vote for him? Ah shit. Sorry everyone, mr. def. That vote was a mayoral vote. I was too busy eating a bagel and having some tea from the butt-exploding cafeteria to check the actual remaining time. Just in case: unvote: Li'l Cecilie (Cecilie) Congratulations, Li'l Corn on your new office. I...didn't vote for you, but hey, I'm sure you'll make a swell Mayor anyway.
  18. I don't think there's a need to defend yourself from it. I'm mostly just thinking out loud. It's potentially interesting that you're once again volunteering for Mayor on Day One. So, yayz! you're not Scummy, just potentially interesting! Because he's not an alien.
  19. May I throw a little rain on this parade and ask why you would try to have history repeat itself? Wasn't a certain investigator annoyed with you last time for putting yourself in the spotlight considering you were the one she found trustworthy and then you were gone right after being investigated. Or perhaps you are banking on people thinking that history is repeating itself and that you're once again volunteering with the Town's best interest in mind...yet you might actually be Scum this time? Li'l Foog and Li'l Kiel, now do you see why we take this mayor thing so seriously? It starts interesting discussions.
  20. And this gives the recruiter or mason block a great target and also gives the killers a great target for night two. Perhaps we shouldn't make such public plans with two teams working against us.
  21. I seem to remember mr. def saying there would be no differentation between kill MOs. So, I guess two people's butts will be exploding every night.
  22. Yayz!! When can we see it? He is kind of a pervy hooded head. So that's not a bad name, really. And the roof is attached with gravity. One of my favorite building techniques.
