    Well, I wanted to wait longer with this, loves, but we are running out of time. The other person who claimed to me has less of a monstery role than Fortune Teller and claims to be a faith healer. The description given to me of their role is exactly as it is seen in the link provided. They claim that their role PM tells them that there are two faith healers and they don't know who the other is but if they both target the same person, the role fails altogether. Pretty much exactly as the link I've provided. If this is true, there's another Faith Healer out there that might be able to get word to us that they exist and corroborate all of this non-monster monster claim hooey. We have the option of lynching this Faith Healer instead of the claimed Investigator to test the non-monster monster claims. To completely metagame our host, the Monster roster last time was: Cyclops – blocker Medusa – godfather Evil Knight – goon Gangster – goon So, 20 players last time and four Scum. If there are only 15 Townies (Monsters), would two of us be Faith Healers? Also, it looks like all of the Monster roles were actual monsters last time. I have trouble thinking that the roles would go so far outside the monster realm just to encompass justification for their role. Who thinks Medusa would automatically mean Godfather? We have 24 hours left to see if this other Faith Healer exists. If you are the other Faith Healer please think of a way to get that info to us, quickly. If it helps, your role is super weak and even somewhat lame, darling.

How's the view from under that radar? What originally bugged me about this is that the "town" is Scum this time and the "scum" are the Town. So your whole question could seem even more like a screw-up. What? Can you look back at this and tell me what you are saying, please? After all this discussion why couldn't you come in at this point and simply say you were the Monster Fortune Teller. Did anybody tell Derek or anybody by the point of the above post how their Role PM was structured? Why couldn't you have said this earlier? Why did this come 24 hours after the first discussion of your alter ego? If Derek is Town, here's my first candidate for Scum: Second vote is a safe place for Scum to vote since you can claim time zones hampered you from voting first and you're not too far into the bandwagon to look like you're just piling on once momentum gets going. If you know Derek's claim is real, it's a great way to get rid of a Power Role, isn't it, love? That and all the other Scummy things you've done in just one day.

    Because it's fun to hide and play the Night Action pictures with the actual characters. I remember a story, darling, called Steampunk Mafia where the alter egos had no bearing on their roles. The point was to hide the royal family. The Town suggested revealing their real identities but the host intervened. The host realized afterwards that the game should've been set up differently for people to be able to claim without having the game be blown apart by it. But the royal family had a reason to hide so it originally surprised the host when they Town suggested they all reveal themselves. Maybe the guards had specific Actions based on their three personalities and maybe the jester was a bomb or something like that but it wasn't so blatant as the cop was the cop. Anyway, in that, the game had a specific reason for the roles to be hidden. In this, the roles are hidden so we don't know who the Scum are! That being said, if the PRs are all obvious by what the actual alter ego is, how much more likely are we to catch the Scum than lose all of the PRs and give the Scum a map to win? Maybe the setup where the alter egos indicate power roles would make sense if the Town has that risk of revealing too much... Ugh, there's not enough wine to help me think through this.

    I'm not acting, darling. I am skeptical of it. I'm aware of what was done last time and it was misguided then as well. To force a figure to be a monster to fit a Power Role is plain silly. However, looking back, the Gangster was a Monster as he was a goon.

    It doesn't need to make sense to you, it only needs to make sense to the host. If your argument is that it makes perfect sense to you, then it sounds like you've made it up. I can't imagine monsters would be replaced with normies just to justify having qualities of power roles. That would be completely stupid. If it is the case, it's not your fault, it's God's. If you are Town and have a power role you should've been much more careful blabbing about your alter ego. Really. Really, if the host has made our alter egos indicate what roles we have, then that is a huge mistake.

    That was the last game and doctor, guess what, means doctor. You're saying the Scum would be able to figure out the Fortune Teller was the investigator and guess what this time, a Fortune Teller is not a cop! So, I don't buy your justification for needing to claim. I don't think the Scum would've figured out you were the investigator if you were revealed tomorrow to be the Fortune Teller.

    It doesn't need to mean anything nor should it! Alter egos should not indicate a character's role. That's a poor setup, in my opinion, if it does. And that should not be the question you're asking if it really is your role. Monsters don't have to correlate to Mafia Night Actions. Was that your attempt at seeming like you had a role? If it was really your role, I think you would just insist that it's how your role is setup. You're trying to find a role that indicates your claim. I would think, if I was say the co-host of the first one for example, that someone might've advised God not to make such correlations in a second iteration. Just maybe. Actually, I should cool it on the wine and check on that, but still. I'm not changing my vote. Your first statement is Scummy, your panicked roleclaim is Scummy, everything you've said is Scummy, so you are the best lynch candidate in my opinion. Love.

    No. Fortune Teller does not mean investigator to me. Sorry. It's ambiguous. Scum slip up, darling. We've seen it before and I'm pretty sure that's what we've seen here. Couldn't someone defend themselves without a 24 hour break to possibly confer with their team? It's not like the weird claim is the only thing that seems Scummy about Derek. Everything he says seems off.

It seems to me like Derek screwed up and after disappearing for enough time to get advice from all of his Scum buddies came back and claimed a role. Don't you think Town Power Roles made do something that makes sense and would keep them alive? Pay attention to the game. I said the same thing, love.

    Someone claimed to me, in private, to have a monster non-monster role too. The claim is dubious and I hardly trust the source. What do you guys think of that? I have some thoughts, but I'm trying to weigh what might give too much away vs. what is complete and utter megablocks. If it is complete and utter megablocks, the Scum have made themselves very easy to catch. If the truth is being told...well...let's weigh that option. I'd like to hear opinions on claiming out alter egos. I have a lot of thoughts right now, but want to hear from everyone else. *claiming our alter egos*... Tickles? Lacey? Kingsley? Hello?! Mwaaaaah!

This lynch makes perfect sense. Derek is making no sense and he never said his non-monster figure had the word monster before it until we all started voting him. It's hard to be Scum, don't worry. Nobody blames you for being so blatantly obvious. So, who asked you to claim a role? If you're really a Monster, I will find you and punch you in the face. But I highly doubt that. Everything you said has reeked of desperate backtracking. You're out of your mind. What cop would counterclaim right now? And to whom? On day one, darling? With so many Scummy jerks saying Scummy crap, a cop would probably do best to keep their eye on it and wait to find someone to trust, but nice try trying to get every one to claim to your Scum teammate. I'm not a violent woman but I have the strong desire to punch you directly in your tiny nutsack. Oh, are you so sure of that? You commune with God? Have we had any corroboration for Derek's ridiculous claim? "Hey Derek, you've got yourself lynched by not paying attention to the premise, claim investigator so we might at least get the investigator outing themselves." "Hey, I can even go out and suggest that if there is not counterclaim that all PRs claim to you and then we can totally steamroller this Town." So disappointed. I thought the Scum would be hard to catch this time. Forget it. I'm claiming my alter ego. I'm the Monster Cheerleader. Just kidding. I'm the Mummy.

    Well, darling, I disagree that I haven't kept up to date and I think you're over-reacting. This type of intensity is normally a Scum tell. Scum perspective: a magnification of all occurrences. You think I've been behind in everything when you're just imagining it in one instance. You're hardly leading me along and keeping me up to date. I think I've got a very solid read of what's happening and am certainly paying attention. So, what if I was actually "behind" as you say? What of it? What's your point? This sounds like you've been trying to keep me informed on what's going on for days and days. What is the real problem? Angry that your whole team has been caught so early? I have little will? My dear, have you just met me? I have more will than you can imagine and if you are Scum, I will see you brought down...with the strength of my will alone.

Otherwise you might sound Scummy. Because, Bleeb, I'm not going to brazenly start revealing until we've discussed the pros and cons. And what do you want me to do? You seem to say I should, but then say I shouldn't. That's weird, even for you, darling Bleeb. Who exactly is metagaming, darling? If someone claims they are not a monster, then they are a council member. That's gaming. Your persistence that the alter ego argument has no weight continues to make you look Scummy. While I love the breezy cut of your jib, I find it hard to believe that you don't understand the concept of the game yet. Monster are monsters and the Council is normies. Claiming to not be a monster is much Scummier than semantics. Why are you trying so hard to justify not jumping on a bandwagon, yet saying Derek is our best candidate. You can't possibly sound more Scummy, so try some wine and see if that helps. I think you've poured wine for both of us, my dear, and poisoned one and it's up to me to guess just one. Mwaaaaah! I agree with Mikatta. Your behavior is bugging me. Maybe it's just a gut feeling, but if you have a suspicion you are not normally likely to boil it down to "" unless asked like I did today. And you are uncharacteristically quiet. Thank you. I remember thinking this when Kelly said it yesterday. Sally was the first to ask for "ids" even if it was inadvertent roleplaying. Sally, are you still pondering asking everyone what their identities are as you mentioned in private. That reminds me: I don't see a rule against quoting PMs so, here goes: Sally, darling, you're contradicting yourself. Can you answer me one teensy-weensy question: why are you so Scummy? Derek, Melinda, Sally, Jeffrey, perhaps Bleeb or Kelly, why are you lining yourselves up for us so easily on Day One? Do you just want to give up now? There's plenty of wine to go around, have some. Let's see if we can't loosen your Scummy tongues a little further.
