  1. I have absolutely no idea, the easiest bet would be that ye, the 2 to 3 movie split of Hobbit, in which case i dislike Hobbit even more, not just because it was a bad and worse adaptation of book to movie, but because it ruined my LOTR LEGO enjoyment i had.... But the immediate question for me lies, WHY not rather scrap some city sets and produce LOTR sets instead, and make multi wave (considering Hobbit only got low amount of sets in each wave) since LOTR license probably had expiration date (well 100% :P) and City(or any other generic theme) not... It would be far higher waste in my opinion in what they did (if they did so) than scraping some generic themed sets. Its all weird really. And without answers for LEGO we will just be left in Limbo. Mostly disappointed. The argument of the guy would hold, IF we all accept/believe that there are only like 4-5 more interesting sets to be produced from Lord of the Rings into LEGO. And I think we all could agree that this is not the case, even if we only take movies as source. And even if we agree that, then wave 3 would really have to be a monster wave with sets including Gondor army builders, Minas Tirith scenes, Battle of Pelennor (Mumakils, siege towers, catapults, tons of moving stuff to use) Haradrims, Easterlings, Nazgul on beast(again movable), Balrog(again movable which LEGO loves).... So yes, To an expent i can see such point, but still it hardly explains for such an abysmal wave 2... (excluding Tower) But when you look at it from a distance, its hard to understand (as LOTR fan and LEGO fan alike) why would someone leave such great options and leave it unmade. Quite a waste of the license, probably the worst waste I have witnessed in regards to LEGO company...
  2. Imperial Trading post was my most loved set from Pirates as a kid, since I never got the big ship. I played with it the most, probably most of all my sets excluding the Black Knight's Castle. Wondering if you would sell it seperately.
  3. Still need to find 2 satyrs, 4-5 grim knights and maybe 2 Winged warriors. Off to search tommorow, 2 cases of CMFs in local shop.
  4. Arabian Knight for the win. Hope he comes with a nice shield and other accessories.... need a good arabian army builder.
  5. If bolded was true, community wouldnt ask or want more and be highly disappointed in terms of what the theme had to offer and what actually was produced. Sorry but leaving out Gondor armies as the main good guys cannot be anything close to exactly knowing what anyone is doing. Its like leaving half the Avengers, or Stormtroopers....
  6. Still available! Also possible half trade/sell
  7. Currently all traded/sold. Will put additional stuff up in the next month.
  8. I am having more and more problems with LEGO ways of minifigure counts, a figure without "proper" legs, for me is not a whole minifig.... I find it a cheap way to increase fig count without delivering figures, or they have too limited appeal and use in my armies or whatever. Only getting the soldier in the cheap set. Kingdoms helmet ftw.
  9. Yea i thought of that, but I dont really want to sell individual figs, and be left with only bricks.... Maybe I would be willing to sell as lot (All uruks and all Rohans etc.) but only after I sell the bricks I guess.... Because being left with just sets is kinda pointless :)
  10. Updated! Sold most of the stuff now, only 4 LOTR sets remaining, up for trade! In need of: - LEGO Darth Revan poylbag (factory sealed) - Series 2 Spartan minifigure (100% complete) x2 - Series 6 Roman soldier (100% complete) x18 - Mines of Moria (MISB or in other words, needs to be a PERFECT box and packed superb) - Dark bluish gray saddles x10 - Black horse (new mold) x5 Also interested in: 10243 Parisian Restaurant (NISB) 10246 Detective's Office (NISB)
  11. Oh god, my eyes are teary.... the KNIGHT! i will buy them all :P Only thing i dislike is green plume on the knight and he has red shield, why not dark red plume :(
  12. Updated! Only a few things left, will put up more soon, since need to liquidate some of my Castle collection and minifigure collection sadly!
  13. Bump still up for sale and bargaining (reasonable)!
  14. The problem with every or most versions of Castle themes for classic traditional castle LEGO fans is the fact of following: - colors are unrealistic (We want green, brown, gray, black, tan, blue(but for water only pls! :P) and variations of those colors) There is simply nothing classic or traditional in the colors of Castle in forms of Nexo Knights (here 2013 Castle line easily wins) - knights and weapons colors are (again) unrealistic: When I was a kid a knight was someone in silver armor with a plume a cool shield and a longsword (or lance on a horse with barding) Now flags and bardings, they can use variety of colors, dont mind those (still trans is weird for classic medieval though) - factions............ Im really tired of the old lion knights heraldry.... its so overused it hurts my eyes and combine it with blue (for good guys) and i roll my eyes over and dont even need to say ''again or what'' because eyes speak for it all. Same goes for red color, too overused.... The wolfmen, Forestmen even the Flacon knight, such refreshment.... so underused. Just look back in the start of 90s, how beautifully LEGO demonstrated that they can use colors even in medieval classic castle fantasy the Dragon Knights..... they even had multi colored legs, and it still looked something I and most would say, ''hey thats a Dragon knight or knight overall'' even if it looks colorful and not silver armor..... As a kid i couldnt even stop looking at the LEGO catalogue (I still look at it today) and those beautiful sets: http://www.doubledumbassonyou.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/019a.jpg http://vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/lego/images/e/e9/1993_Germany_Dragon_Masters.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20100722165831 http://www.artpeter.net/Data/Lego/Katalogy/1992/23.jpg These sets look like something you could picture in your fantasy after an old ''wizard'' would tell you a story of lost tale about epic battles, an evil magician and brave knights who did not want to bend the knees but fought on even when all hope was lost..... Sadly I cannot imagine anything like that from Nexo Knights.... The only thing 2990s lacked were sets like MMV and MRV..... these 2 sets are the real sparks of epicness and classic castle looks and feels for us classic castle fans (together with Kingdoms which had everything great except the too little factions and colors/heraldry overuse again.... why not yellow vs purple sometimes, or orange vs brown or whatever, just not blue, red and to a degree green again)
  15. Bump! Still available for sale!
  16. Not really, tbh, most Classic Castle fans consider the Dragon Knights/ Dungeon knights/ Forestmen and Wolf clan guys as the best era of trully classic castle in terms of variety and interesting faction and number of factions overall not to mention that the Dungeon castle is probably still top 3 if not the best looking classic castle out there in LEGO terms. Kingdoms are on par with that era but mainly because of the building techniques, but is lacking heavily in terms of faction variety. The fantasy era with dwarves, trolls and so on is again on par with it, but for faction reasons. For Classic Castle fans, myself included i believe the best LEGO line would be to mix faction variety of fantasy and Dragon knight era and mix in the great building techniques and useful sets like MVR and MMV and Kingdoms line. It would be the jewel of all Classic Castle wishes really. As A Classic Castle fan i must say that when i consider Castle in LEGO terms i seek for earthly colors, so loads of green, gray, brown and black use, sand use can also factor here..... some additional colors are ok, but mainly these 4 are expected in color variations liek dark and light green etc. This is also why outside of perhaps shields and some troop looks I will find Nexo Knights dissappointing, this is also the aspect i believe 2013 Castle was better in, but 2013 Castle was bad to me mainly because of another blue vs red and the kinda not on par with Kingdoms design and heraldry, with perhaps the dark wizard exception.
