The first Orc with hairpiece went for like 10$ on Ebay auction (not sure if it was the very first bought but it was only a couple (not sure if it was even 7 days) days after the sets showing in stores.... so thats 25%...... Also not to mention Sam going for like 14$ at some point..... I really hope they did not reuse Legolas torso... if that is the case I might very well not buy those lol atleast not more than once! Even Mirkwood elf guard torso is better then Legolas one lol

Well I never bought Shelob because I thought it was not worth the price.... And to be honest Gollum is/was half a figure! So I just bricklinked Sam ..... Also keep in mind that Super Heroes is more about individual heroes while LOTR/Hobbit is (while also a journey for few) actually a vast army battles.... When you think of Super Heroes you mostly think of individual hero scenes, but when you think of LOTR and (soon) Hobbit you will remember mostly epic scenes of vast battles and well a Dragon....

Ah what a shame :P atleast lets hold hands for a great print and not a lousy one... really disappointed about shield and no armor/helmet thing.... such a huge let down....

if US really does get 6 figures + warg for 30$ this is just laughable ..... And ill be stuck on 40€ which is like 52$ again so that stores can give me whooping amazing 20% off and still be on 40$ lol

Somehow I feel 1st and 3rd set are way overpriced..... 20$ for 3 figs and 50$ for 5 figs? Not really a good bargain even at regular 20% off :P

Yeh the newshield is printed but how is the design of the shield... which design does the shield use? The same as Uruk-hai just colored differently or is it a new mold or is it Roman Soldier shield? I think the Mirkwood elf army is 40$ not 30$

Thig is if these orcs are new ... 2 of them will go for like 70-80% of set cost for the first few months until the discounts hit us...

Your dream sets have way too many figs for their costs, especially first 3 :P

I am really disappointed out of 3 Elves in Mirkwood Elf Army set we will not get a single Elf fully armed and armored as in trailer with helmet shield sword and armor..... This will be my biggest disappointment! And the second are those annoying and TOO BIG hoods they use.... I hope atleast the elves (all of them) will get a CLOAK in dark green! Stocked for brown warg...

Why would anyone want ANOTHER Elrond is beyond me.... he is NOT a warrior for a long time before the events of Hobbit and LOTR... Elrond is a good guy in a Rivendell resort taking care of old stories and reading stuff.... and healing.... All I hope is that Elvish warriors are generic 3 soldiers and 2 have SHIELDs helmets and armors!!!!! thats all i want from this set lol

Elf army sounds the best! I just wish orcs are not generic same orcs as before! oh and i wish elves have shields+armor as seen in trailer!

I just keep wishing we get Generic Tower Guard, Gondor Soldier, Ithilien Ranger Haradrim and Mumakil set.... Actually as long as I get a smaller set (max 30-40$ with 2 gondor soldiers and 2 shields Ill be happy and hoard the set forever :P

Yeah I understand... but lets say how much would you Estimate your lot? There is how much? 300 sets? A little less with those stuff added on brickset... Thing is EVEN if anyone WOULD be willing to shed like five digit number into your inventory he would expect some royal discount (30%+) Not to mention anyone buying in such quantities should have to pick it up because shipping would be enormous... I think your best bet IF you want to get rid of the collection and make decent money is to sell by theme... Group all Pirate stuff, Space stuff, Harry Potter... and sell it as that.... That way you do attract buyers who only want certain theme and it would cost way less overall ... and it would not be much more work... maybe instead of 1 sale youd sell like 20 times... way better than 200+ times :D -

Well selling this in 1 big lot would be tough and might take a long time.... You should sell the valueable sets alone... I personally would be interested in 3-4 sets but a whole lot like this costs way too much for majority to buy! -
The only ''problem'' with your '?White'' City is that, well, its not white but light gray :P

a 100-130$ Minas Tirith would look comical.... it means it will have around MAX 1500 pieces (like Helm's Deep) and that either means WAY TOO SMALL or way to little details... either suck heavily. Rather then do the white Tower + great hall of kings and white tree with 2 Gondor Guards, Pipping, Denethor Gandalf The 1st level of wall with gates, Grond (battering ram) with 2 gondor soldiers 1 troll + 1 orc (or 3 orcs and no troll) and gothmog (maybe Gandalf) So you have a 130$(around 1500 pieces) set and 80-100$(around 1000 pieces) set Way better than a lame 130$ total Minas Tirith imo...

3rd wave = 99.99999999% (or 100) 4th wave is currently 50-50 for me... I hope it will be done with some great locations and Grey Heavens ship set as the last bit of the LOTR line (after all others!)
