  1. I am damn proud to be an AFOL. I don't hide it. I share my work with my friends, family, and coworkers. I've made custom figs for friends and coworkers. I can care less if someone judges me for doing what I do. -Omi
  2. One thing I always like about these kinds of topics is seeing the evolution of your work throughout the year, and even though it is seperated in themes, you can still tell. Your work has always impressed me, and I hope 2011 becomes a big year for you. :) -Omi
  3. Nice work thre! :) I look forward to seeing more of your stuff on Lego merch! -Omi
  4. Very sleek and clean. Well done. -Omi
  5. Well it is easier to print on lighter colors. I asked for something with white on black one time, and he said it wouldn't come out right. -Omi
  6. That and not many people doing it. :( But that will sure change in the future. -Omi
  7. He isn't asking about decal stickers. He is asking about printing on Lego. -Omi
  8. Oh he isn't a real person. Just a badass dude from a video game. :D -Omi
  9. Big Boss was the codename of the legendary soldier who founded the U.S. Army Special Forces Unit, FOXHOUND. He was also the founder and commander of Militaires Sans Frontieres, the "military without borders", which led to the creation of Outer Heaven in South Africa. Big Boss later helped the small nation of Zanzibar Land achieve independence in Central Asia, becoming its head of state. Big Boss was considered by many to be "The Greatest Warrior of the 20th Century" and a brilliant military leader and was hailed as a war hero by admirers and feared as a tyrant by his enemies. As a result of the Les Enfants Terribles project, he was the genetic father of Solid Snake (his subordinate and later nemesis), Liquid Snake and Solidus Snake. Prior to earning the codename of Big Boss, he served as a field operative for the CIA black ops unit FOX (Force Operation X) which was founded by Zero and the apprentice of The Boss under the codename of Naked Snake during the Cold War. This fig is based on his appearance in the ending of Metal Gear Solid 3 when he salutes the Boss' grave. *Saber-Scorpion for face decal. -Omi
  10. Nagini is very impressive! I also like hair molds for the Lestrange bros. -Omi
  11. The blue decal may be feasible to be printed on blue. Only reason why I say that is that white is difficult to print on dark colors (consider that's what I been told by both Brick Engraver and CJB). However I'm sure it can be worked around. As for the second, that can definately be printed on light gray. -Omi
  12. That is one impressive Jasmine. -Omi
  13. Brick Engraver is who you want. He engraves and prints on all sorts of pieces. With the printing though, depends on the decals, and most of them time can restrict to just white. There was another guy I had stuff made from called CJBGraphics, but his website seems to be gone..... -Omi
  14. BrickForge vambraces, and the shoulder armor is actually mutilated hockey armor. :P -Omi
  15. I saw your Pikachu in the other topic, and I have to say it is a clever way of making him purist style. The figes are also nice. Clean and accurate. -Omi
  16. Cecil Harvey is the main protagonist of Final Fantasy IV. Cecil is unique in that he is one of the few characters in the series that changes his job during the course of the game, starting out as a Dark Knight, but after a difficult trial and the battle with the first of the Four Elemental Archfiends, transforms into a Paladin. He is also the first playable protagonist in the FF series to be half-human, the other half being Lunarian (race of mages from the Moon). Reference -Omi
  17. That is a very impressive moc, both in size and detail and the colors blend so well together. My only problem is the wings. They are too small I think. -Omi
  18. Steve Witt confirmed Series 5 at Brickfair 2010. As for Wikipedia, take any info from it like grain of salt. It can be likely that the Collectible figures can continue after Series 5 if it is profitable. It's just only that they so far have plans up to Series 5, and things change since they are announced. -Omi
  19. I suck with sculpey and with ovens. :P -Omi
  20. I'm just an amateur still in this department, but thanks! I learn from the best. :) As for the sword, it is BrickTW and chromed by them as well. Would have used my Buster Sword, but figured to use this sword for the photo. -Omi
  21. This would have been a great photo if Steve Witt didn't bomb it. :P -Omi
  22. Pay no attention to the minifig, it isn't important for this. What is important though, is the hair. Lately I been practicing my skills with melding two pieces together and what not, and decided to attempt Cloud Strife's hair by using BrickTW's hair pieces. After cutting and sanding, I glued them together and sprayed them yellow. And this is the result. Not bad I think. :P Used this minifig to model the hair. Reference -Omi
  23. Well makes sense as to why you aren't using the yellow hair. :P Aside from gluing the seams, you can also paint over them since paint can also help hold it together. Maybe spraypaint the whole thing yellow/tan, then touch up the bandana with bandana color. Hopefully it comes out well whatever route you take. :) -Omi
  24. I been seeing what you have accomplished so far. So far so good. Except the hair. Would have chosen yellow instead of tan. :P -Omi
