  1. That is why they have bar codes and bumps. Besides tracking them down is the fun part of collecting. You know how many FF Trading Arts figs I had to buy jut to get Balthier? A LOT. Sure I could have bought him online, but that is too easy. Plus I built up a nice collection of figs plus the one I wanted. :P -Omi
  2. Collecting them all and buying a whole case are two completely unrelated things. A box contains 60 figs, and you only need 16 to have a complete collection. That leaves 44 figs that you don't need, and for others to obtain. And if you are in serious need of pieces, there is Bricklink for that. Of course I am guilty of buying a full box of collectibles, but I normally take what I need and give the rest away to friends or someone nearby. -Omi
  3. Hence the title "The Three Musketeers". :P -Omi
  4. The interviews would be something good to post. For those who aren't familiar with your blog would most likely be interested in the behind the scenes with the customizors you have spoke to. Also maybe some customs from yourself? -Omi
  5. Love the geisha. Love the gnome. Love the figure skater. Love the musketeer. Definately better than Series 3. Also I'm surprised the Soccer player doesn't come with a ball. -Omi
  6. I remember that article. The people who made a deal about it were the ones who weren't knowledgeable of the BrickArms product (and that's usualy the case with most people), considering the first thing they blamed was Lego, with Lego instantly saying "we had nothing to do with it". :P -Omi
  7. This reminds me of when I saw PoP in theaters, and during the beginning when the narrator commented about Persia's amazing army, my friend next to me was like "they obviously did not know of the Spartans yet." :P -Omi
  8. He ate a lot of the pork chops..... yeah..... Lets go with that. -Omi
  9. Another Castlevania fig I've made, this time of Richter Belmont based on his artwork and sprite from Castlevania: Rondo of Blood. Reference My other Castlevania figs I showcased. * Armor and Spear tip is BrickTW * Hair is BrickForge * Belt thingy is MMCB Enjoy -Omi
  10. Is it just me or are these entirely custom based and not Lego? Yeah that's what I thought. Quit nitpicking BA just because that is what they chose to make. -Omi
  11. The jacket is MMCB. He makes customs capes. It was originally white but I blackened it. As for the torso, it is this modified: He was going to be flesh, but I was out of cool flesh heads, so I had to make him yellow. Gottoa work with what I have. Also glad to see people actually see my figs on flickr. :P -Omi
  12. There are only 22 official James Bond movies, with the 23rd on current hiatus. Other JB movies are not EON productions and are not part of the official line of movies. -Omi
  13. Squall Leonhart is the primary protagonist of Final Fantasy VIII. A young and aloof SeeD mercenary, for much of the game Squall is viewed by others as a cold and focused person. However, the events of the game cause Squall to question the way he has chosen to live his life, and he matures into a heroic and caring swordsman. Squall's weapon, the gunblade, is one of the most iconic weapons of the Final Fantasy series. This fig is actually a remake of my old version, which can be seen here. Reference * Hair is Arealight * Gunblade is BrickArms * Jacket is MMCB, but coated black by me * Torso modified by me Enjoy -Omi
  14. License would have to be renewed with DC in order for that to happen. -Omi
  15. And Warner Bros owns DC Comics, but Lego didn't have a license with Warner Bros to make the Batman line. They had the license with DC Comics because they own the rights for the characters. Marvel works that way as well. Lego would would have to strike a deal with Marvel (or Marvel Studios for a movie line), not Disney. Mega Bloks currently has the Marvel license, and they held it for a long time (or renewed alot) if you look at their history of products. Mega Bloks only had Cars because at the time they had a license with Disney, which at that time Lego had Nickalodeon. MB doesn't hold Disney anymore. -Omi
  16. Lego doesn't have a license with Marvel, and Mega Bloks currently holds that license anyways. Just because Disney owns it doesn't mean squat. -Omi
  17. Clever use of the forestman hat! I also like the various scenes depicting the use of his items like the Fire Rod and boomerang. The octorok is neat too. -Omi
  18. Wow. Excellent application of the decals. -Omi
  19. Nice paint job on the helmets! -Omi
  20. See I always find this to be interesting. First he would need to find a seller that has all the pieces he needs, and usually it is tough to find everything in one swoop. And a lot of vendors play hardball with the minimum buys, and its usually the ones who have that set up that have all the pieces. If he can't find them all togeter, he will have to purchase from more than one vendor. And while you are doing this search, the prices then start to change because pricess differ with each vendor. And then we have shipping attached as well. And then you have to wait for the invoice(s). Chances are you will be spending more. With BrickForge, the price is set and checkout all at once. You'll be spending roughly the same no matter which option you take. And if you have the money for the above option, you also have money for the BrickForge option. Of course only way around this is if he already has the pieces. :P -Omi
  21. But Todd does permit the use of custom items. And some clone brands were in use anyways at Bfair. :P -Omi
  22. So far everywhere I shown these figs, people are really liking Gabriel. :) Wish I had the Combat Cross done in time for him though. -Omi
  23. If you are open to customization, BrickForge does sell sheeps. Only if you can't find the design you are looking for. Link -Omi
  24. BrickForge is custom products made for just not Lego, but also Mega Bloks. BrickForge (and also other custom vendors like BrickArms), solely make products for the purpose of complimenting your set or minifigs. Mega Bloks is a competitor to the Lego brand, and like most competitors, they are frowned on. BrickForge compliments. Mega Bloks competes. Don't confuse the two together. Also Lego recognizes BF and the products they make. -Omi
  25. Pics are now up for the hair. :) -Omi
