Figured out what I am doing, and very excited to start on it after work tonight. -Omi

Cuz it has noticeable ears? The whole thing I was griping about? The thing you said elves don't have? Actually only you have been because I am the only here who doesn't like it, which also seems to piss you off much to my amusement. I say Lego did a poor job because that is how I feel an elf shouldn't be represented as, and if that is just me, then that is just me. So what if I am just a stupid kid mixing up my definitions of an elf, considering they don't even exist so their is no real definition of an elf. And they can like it! I have no problem with that. But when one person says they don't like it, there are people like you who just hammer that person to the ground. And that just isn't right. This is why I don't post much here on EB because everything is so onesided. And don't respond to this post. I'm not even coming back to this. -Omi

Yes I do see the ears because they are very noticeable. Which was how this whole thing started when you said they don't have noticeable ears. There are no elves in the FF series save for their only appearance in FFI, and their appearance is based on that derived from D&D and Tolkien's work, along with allusions to Hylians from Legend of Zelda. Which I don't know why I would confuse them with this since they resemble Forestmen and they are thieves. And I don't think that is an elf. And it's not even FF. Now stop convincing me to like the elf. -Omi

While I am no D&D expert, I am pretty sure the games have had conceptual artwork to go along with the games in their books and stuffs. But still, I am disappointed with the elf, and I have every right to be. :) -Omi

No I'm not hurt, but if your gonna say that you get your elf credentials by playing a game that contradicts what you say, then I make my point. And never said I was a cool guy. :) Also thanks for looking at my sig. :D -Omi

Link And since Lego is not basing this figure off of actual elves from mythology and moreso on the fan interpretation, I can say they did a poor job. I'm really really surprised by the fact you spent 15 years of your life playing D&D. -Omi

Ears, and very noticeable ones too. Can't even see a slight possibility of them being printed on the head. Also elves are graceful looking. This guy here looks like he is about to take a dump. If anything this guy is just a simple castle warrior/archer. Everyone is so willing to jump on the bandwagon when they see a fig clad in green with blonde hair and a bow and call if an elf with examining the actual elf features. -Omi

Lego could have done better with their "elf", if they even wanna call it that. -Omi

10 bucks is the minimum amount required to checkout anyways. Besides its just 10 bucks. If you have the money to buy Lego sets, or pay for internet, then you have the money to get some bf store at least once. Recession has nothing to do with it. Cutting down on unneccessary things allows you to get what you want. Not every Brickforge customer goes to BrickWorld or BrickFair. Most don't even go at all. Majority of BrickForge's customers are kids, and last I checked, kids don't even have jobs and they still manage to get their hands on this stuff. -Omi

Did you not see what they just released? Centaur Body, which was also -highly- requested by the fanbase. That is thinking big. Plus need I mention the Space Marine armor for the Halo fans? And all the fantasy arsenal? And the random modern accessories? They have it all covered. That is expansion of the company. Please do us a favor and learn more about BrickForge before making more posts and pointing out their "problems". Actually you don't avoid copyrights by doing that, plus you won't be smiled on if your going around and just stealing ideas. -Omi

Was referring to Bricklink. And yeah Lego does sell most of their stuff at outrageous pricing, such as the pick a brick. So Armothe should sue his own business for taking his own ideas and making profit off his own work? Anyways we are getting off track here. This is a review, now how BrickForge is a "ripoff". -Omi

It is at that price because: 1. It is custom. 2. It is a big piece. BrickForge is a business and like all businesses, they try to sell their products at a reasonable price. 4 bucks is reasonable for what it is. No such thing as a free lunch. Ok then wait forever until never for Lego to release it. And when they do it will cost way more than what BF has their own. -Omi
