  1. Recently I started a minifig project based on the Castlevania video game series. You have already seen my Simon Belmont figs. Trevor Belmont Trevor is the main protagonist from Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse. He has also appeared in other Castlevania games such as Judgement and Curse of Darkness. This fig is based on his Curse of Darkness artwork as well as his artwork from Pachislot Akumajo Dracula II. *Whip is Christo *Waist cape is MMCB Richter Belmont Richter is the main protagonist from Rondo of Blood, but he also appears as an antagonist in Symphony of the Night (he was possessed). This fig is based on his Symphony of the Night artwork. *Coat is MMCB *Cross is Woody64 Gabriel Belmont Gabriel is the main protagonist from the recently released Lords of Shadows. This fig is based on the artwork of the game. *Garb by MMCB *God Mask made by me (modified Lucious Malfoy head) Enjoy! -Omi
  2. Post has been added with information given by Armothe. -Omi
  3. It varies. The latest mold is now in Sand Green, Dark Bley, and Bronze. The mold before that (Centaur) is now in Dark Bley. So of the older stuff are now being released in Red, Blue, White, and the Trans colors (like the Gladiator mask). You just gotta look and see what wasn't there before. -Omi
  4. BrickForge has been quietly updating the store with products (old and new) in the all new Gold color, first released at BrickFair 2010. No official announcement has been made, so I decided to jump the gun and inform you guys so you can catch them by surprise! :D Also the new hair molds (Maverick, Mohawk, Ponytail) are also now available in several colors. Make sure you snag them up to give your figs those wicked cool hairdos! Also if you take a gander at other products, you will see that some are now available in colors that weren't before. And when Armothe asks how you knew all this, just tell him a little bird told you. So why are you still reading this? Head on over to the store! -Omi Addendum: New BrickForge Hairpieces, Lamppost & Plume! Set your fig apart with some style! Add some Maverick Hair to your rock star or lonely adventurer. The Ponytail makes any bounty hunter look a bit more intimidating, and the Mohawk lends a bit more accuracy to your street punks or tactical heroes. Also available is the new BrickForge Lamppost which features a hollow twin-mast junction and hollow stud connection points for excessive customization. The Lamppost is designed to come apart and snap back together allowing enthusiasts to use a LifeLites.com e-Lite micro-lighting kit to bright their streetlamp to life. Top off your minifigs with the new Double Plume. Modeled after the classic-style the adornment displays two feathers, a 3mm grip area and a traditional peg/socket connection that works with most standard BrickForge and official headgear. If that's not enough for you we have released several existing items in a bunch of new colors - including the brand new GOLD, Trans Light Blue and Trans Purple. Since there is simply too much to comprehend we made a list over at our forum. What are you waiting for? Head on over to our store to check things out!
  5. I been ordering stuff from Mark for over 3 years. He is one of the best. -Omi
  6. Yellow torso with MMCB's white tunic wrapped around. I keep most of my figs simple so that way everyone can make their own version of their fave figs. :) And thanks for the comments guys! -Omi
  7. Do I really have to explain this one? Garb by MMCB. -Omi
  8. I was featured on a Japanese documentary about the Grandfather Clock (which my grandparents own here in MA). It was hosted by singer Ken Hirai practically a decade ago. -Omi
  9. In addition to the post above, this body armor also came to mind. -Omi
  10. They don't make them. BrickForge does make the Falcata, which is close. -Omi
  11. Judge Gabranth is a character in Final Fantasy XII. A major antagonist, he is a Judge Magister, the highest rank possible in the Archadian Empire's military. While he appears to serve the Empire faithfully, a torn and broken man lies behind his lordly façade. - Helmet is Sidan-Toys - Cape is Lamanda - Armor is Amazing Armory - Swords are BrickArms and BrickForge respectively - Belt is BrickForge Reference Reference (with weapons) Reference (of back) Enjoy! -Omi
  12. Maybe :P -Omi
  13. I don't think I really need to describe who this badass is. ;) -Omi
  14. The soldier has it on his backpack. It is blocked by the other fig's shoulder. C-14 Impaler Gauss Rifle from StarCraft. -Omi
  15. BrickCon 2010 is in full swing and we couldn't think of a better time to introduce some brand-spanking new items. On he heels of our infamous Centaur & other recently-released gear, BrickForge is proud to present ten new out-of-sight accessories. Launch an offensive with the sleek-but-deadly Battle Rifle and heavy assault Coilgun. These two cosmic caliber weapons will drive back any alien attackers or strike fear among interplanetary intruders. If you forgot to wear Ammo Pouches and run out of boom-power, just slip on a set of our Brass Knuckles for some up close and personal pounding. For more modern appeal equip your grunts with the simple-but-sure Grease Gun. Our Backpack conveniently stows the new trench Shovel and Canteen while the Soldier Helmet provides a bit of shelter from shell-shock. The Cutlass is great for swashbuckling while the Hatchet can be used for chopping wood or fending off local savages. Our Bayonet clips onto the BrickForge Musket or any other accessory designed with a standard 3.1mm section; such as the Battle Rifle or Coilgun, making for a truly painful experience. Available now in the BrickForge Store. Several more colors coming soon. Also if one were to browse the shop, you will notice that the products released at BrickFair (Centaur, Bow, etc) are now in more colors! -Omi
  16. I remember seeing these as part of the 2010 plan. Is there an expected release date for them as of yet? -Omi
  17. Ummmmmm Look again. Custom Sets, Custom Parts, Custom Minifigs, Custom Instructions, and even Custom Original Boxes. Most of these are licensed. And not only that, but have you ever been to a Lego convention? Lego has a strong presence at these things and they witness the selling of custom figs and mocs AND instructions. While technically their inspiration is derived from licensed products, their design on their stuff is completely their own. Take Kaminoan as a fine example to this. He makes a boatload of decals based on Star Wars, Star Trek, comic books, etc. He designed them all, but they are inspired by the characters. BrickForge's Space Marine armor is inspired by the armor worn by Master Chief in Halo. -Omi
  18. Lets provide an example shall we? Bricklink is a site that not only resells Lego sets, parts, and instructions without the approval of Lego, but also sells custom sets, parts, and instructions without the approval of Lego. They can be shut down. What prevents this? At the bottom of the site. BZPower has the same thing, but its mainly about images. Same with Brickshelf. EB can technically be stopped because they are using Lego's images without their approval, since they lack the disclaimer. Also you misunderstood me. If you plan on using an image if say Han Solo you have to have to have the disclaimer. Never said sell it with the trademark, but you have to let people know that the product you are selling is different. Because technically speaking, people showing off their LDD instructions is infringement because they don't use the disclaimer. This is simple stuff you learn in high school and college. -Omi
  19. Instructions can be printed as long as the logo has the trademark. And not really telling them to break the law, just to loophole it by mentioning the trademark. That is completely legal to do. -Omi
  20. Run a search on ebay. You will find so many licensed MOCs and sets being sold. Not only tat, but you will also see custom figs as well. No one is sellng custom Space Battle figs, but there are quite a few loads of custom Star Wars Clone Troopers. Two ways to loophole the legal system. One is to say that it is not a real but custom set using Lego parts (and whatever else you use). The other is to state that the characters are trademarked by Lucasfilms, etc. People have been doing this for years. If nothing has been done then, nothing can be done now. I can name so many customizors that legally sell stuff based off of licensed products. -Omi
  21. Nothing wrong about it. It is your own custom set, or MOC, and you have the right to sell it. People resell actual LEGO sets and nothing stops them, so what is to stop you from selling your own? -Omi
  22. Cannot wait for these to be released! -Omi
  23. Nice avatar with Penelo. :P

  24. You seen pics of ComicCon right? Or Star Wars celebrations? You see how people dress up like characters from games and comics and movies? That is cosplay. For example, this is me cosplaying Balthier from Final Fantasy XII. Because my cosplay has a resemblance to the actual character with little difference, this would be the Lego fig, if I were to enter it. However what Luxor wants, from what I see in the rules, is that it has to look like its actual cosplayy with the attributes of everyday life. Most cosplayers don't wear the right colored wig or outfit, or never take of glasses. I could make a Cloud Strife cosplayer with crappy spiky hair and wearing reading glasses and make the outfit look like it was pieced together. Or a guy wearing a Zelda or Peach outfit. Or these chicks. -Omi
