So was Indiana Jones, and it still happened. -Omi

Meaning that if they literally copied a Lego set and sold it under their own name, that is a knock off. Enlighten Bricks are knock offs because they do that. Cobi Bricks and Mega Bloks are not knock offs because they make their own molds and do not copy Lego's themes or sets. Cogo falls under that category because just by looking at the sets and majority of the pieces, it is its own set and brand. -Omi

Once I get the yellow clikit bead I ordered from Europe (go figure), it shall happen. This particular pic used a sliced trans yellow head. -Omi

Customs come at a price and I'm willing to pay it. :P As for keeping the details, I use scotch tape to cover up anything I don't wanna ruin. That way I can rub the torso like a mad man and not erase the lines. However it is something to be patient with because I always reapply tape after erasing what I need to get rid of (like I cover up one side of the torso, erase the crap. Remove tape, and cover up the other side, etc etc.). Scotch tape is what I recommend using because it is easy to apply, doesn't rub off accidently (packaging tape does), and it doesn't leave a sticky residue (like masking tape). It is especially handy when you wanna get into those tight spots. -Omi

Look at the past years of licenses, I think Lego did a damn good job at getting what they made. Think about it. Star Wars is still hot. People love Indy. Kids love Spongebob and Ben 10. And there is also Harry Potter and there was also Batman. And can't forget an upcoming summer blockbuster, PoTC. -Omi

Clu is the antagonist from Tron: Legacy. Brasso was the key element here. This was the original torso and legs. I think I can say I am the brasso master. :) I am really happy with how this fig came out. Enjoy. -Omi

In honor of Duke Nukem Forever and the upcoming Alien Conquest sets, I am remade my Duke Nukem minifig. :) *Torso is brassoed by me *Webbing is from Cobi Bricks *Guns are modified BrickArms -Omi

Yeah those helmets ere a limited time only, and as far as to my knowledge, no plans on continuing them since he has other things coming out (new stuff!). However if you ever keep your eyes peeled on BrickLink (in the Customs section) or ebay, you just might get lucky. Or if you attend a convention, some vendor may have them. Good luck in your search. -Omi

Zsaz was a comic a villian. He was absent from the cartoons because he was such violent character. His role is not huge in the movie but it was in the game. Not many would consider him a villian in the movie, but I do because he was prominent in the comics. As for the abundance of villians, think about it. We know Batman's story, and most of us wanna see some villians. Val Kilmer left after Batman Forever because he knew the screentime was on villians, and he was right because Batman & Robin had 3 villians, with origins focused on all 3. And as far as I see, Dark Knight Rises only has one villian, and that is Bane. No where do I see a confirmation on Catwoman. Only on Selina Kyle. Tim Burton's Batman had Harvey Dent, but he was never Two Face. -Omi

Batman Begins actually had 3: Ra's Al Ghul, Scarecrow and Victor Zsaz. -Omi

Well see that's the thing. The figs and sets themselves were based off several things. The Penguin and Riddler drew elements from the 60s show and comics, while Mr. Freeze and Two Face is directly based on their 90s animated series versions. The license was coming from everything. Only did it really draw on the movies was when they released the Tumbler, and the latest Batman fig drew on it's Dark Knight appearence (the other figs went from 60s show to the animated series all the way up to Burton's Batman). License didn't even need the movies to live off of. And yeah I love Spongebob too. I'm made fun of for liking it. :P -Omi

I love how you guys are misusing the term knock off. -Omi

The figs will prove to be useful in the customizor's world. -Omi

I'm just disappointed that a Hero set based on Spongebob did not include the only two heroes in the show, Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy. -Omi

I have a whole set of MK figs that I made based on the characters up to Trilogy. This is the best you may find. -Omi

Normally I give credit when it is due if I was inspired by someone else or I am using someone else's work. Most of the time when I use someone's work (BrickForge, BrickArms, MMCB), I tend to give credit on a few cases, but generally not credit them all the time considering I am regular with their work and they know I thank them and such. Now when I make something and not know someone else did it, I won't give credit, and if I am demanded for it, well tough luck. As for people borrowing my ideas, if you give credit that is fine but if you don't I'm not gonna hassle you for it. If people wanna make what I make, I say go for it. -Omi

Second Wave of Minifigs on CustomMinifigs.com!
Omicron replied to Omicron's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
I have discussed whether the prices should be dropped just a bit, but considering the Lego pieces you get, plus the BrickForge parts and custom decals and the time to make them/apply them, you are getting your moneys worth. But I see where you're coming from. -Omi -

Christmas is long over, but it seems that it hasn't over at BrickForge, considering that the two new colors - Lime Green and Dark Red, are very Christmas indeed. That is my way of saying that BrickForge has come out with, not one, but two BRAND SPANKING NEW (and I mean new like NEW, like the new car smell new) colors. Currently the the only items to be in both these colors are Mushrooms, Scooters, and the Beret, but gosh darnit that will change (and I will personally make sure of it by kicking Armothe). "The color match on the Lime Green is flawless. Dark Red is very good too!" - Armothe EDIT: And holy crap there is more!!!! Some call it Pearl Dark Gray and others call it GunMetal - we call it Steel! Falcata Knight Shield Round Pauldrons Vambraces Wizard Staff Military Helmet Military Rifle Plans to expand our selection in this color are underway. Enjoy! -Omi

Noob Saibot was a Lin Kuei assassin-turned wraith from the Mortal Kombat series. He is one of the few original characters, debuting in the original Mortal Kombat arcade game as Sub-Zero, older brother of the current, younger Sub-Zero. He first appeared as Noob Saibot as a secret character in Mortal Kombat II, first becoming playable in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. The shuriken is a reference to his use of them in Deception and Armageddon. Reference * Garb by MMCB * Shuriken is Stikfas * Mask is modified BrickForge gladiator mask -Omi

I thought Lego passed over the Nick license for Disney, and Lego never have licenses that compete with each other (Nick VS Disney). -Omi

Which are better, light flesh minifigs, or yellow ones?
Omicron replied to Sirius Black's topic in General LEGO Discussion
None are better than the other in my eyes. It is whatever gets the job done for me. -Omi
